I remember many years back when I was working at a cafeteria in a university, there was an employee who was always telling a joke to the University students who came (clean ones of course)

Here are a few I remember:
See if you can guess the answers.

How do cats make coffee?

What is a ghost's favorite dessert?

Why are people so tired on April 1st?

Why did the skeleton go to the barbecue?

How do cats make coffee?

The Civet coffee, also called as Luwark coffee, is expensive because of uncommon method of producing such a coffee. It is produced from the coffee beans digested by civet cat. The feces of this cat are collected, processed and sold.

That coffee is not made from the poop, but from the coffee beans in the poop.

The civets pass the coffee beans whole. No poop is used in making coffee.
Once locals discovered that westerners were willing to pay top dollar for civet processed coffee beans, they began trapping them and keeping them in cages so they could feed them coffee beans and collect the pooped beans without having to search the jungle for civet scat.
One reason the coffee beans were prized is because the civets supposedly only ate the best beans. Now you get whatever was fed to them. Capitalism at work

So it doesn't taste as good as it used to then. How about now?

I got a chance to try some a couple of years ago (free, as it was marketing for the launch of a new financial magazine). I didn't think it was anything special. Passing through the civet's digestive system "supposedly" removes some of the less desirable characteristics of coffee, but I couldn't taste any difference.
