Agree, and yet not one scripture showing God blessed and sanctified the first day. Not one scripture in the entire bible where God tells us the first day is the holy day to Him and for us to keep holy the first day. Not one scripture where it is a commandment from God or the day Jesus went to Temple as His custom reading the Word of God. You would think with this much discussion on God's holy day there would be something.

God tells us He changes not and asked us to Remember the Holy day of the Lord thy God, the seventh day Sabbath. Exodus 20:8-11 I choose to believe God.
There are no scriptures that confirm Sunday as the new day of rest. Please quit asking the rhetorical question. Everyone knows no scripture exists. We also know that we are not under the dictates of the covenant that was given only to Israel and are now superseded by the new covenant which doesn't require the keeping of days. Thank you

This should be concerning.

Especially when we have so much scripture where God tells us the Holy day to Him is the seventh day Exodus 20:10, Genesis 2:1-3, Isaiah 58:13, Isaiah 66:23 and told us to keep holy the same day that is holy to God. Exodus 20:8, Ezekiel 20:12, Ezekiel 20:20 and the day Jesus kept holy John 15:10, Luke 4:16-17

Sounds to me like you've been taught to believe that Christianity is a lie.

I am not keeping count, but I do wonder how many times I have explained to you that God was not referring to gentiles when He gave the Law or reminded the Israelites of His commands. The word is not referring to US in any of them. Why is it you feel that you should horn in on something that is not addressed to you?

I believe in the Bible version of Christianity, not the man-made version that has no scripture to support Sunday as a day of worship.

These are facts of the bible:
1.God deemed the Seventh day as His holy day Exodus 20:10, Isaiah 58:13, Genesis 2:1-3
3. God commanded us to also keep holy the same day that is holy to God. Exodus 20:8, Ezekiel 20:12, Ezekiel 20:20 Makes sense to worship God on the same day is the holy day of the Lord thy God.
4. God only blessed and sanctified one day in the entire bible and that is His holy day, the seventh day Genesis 2:1-2, Exodus 20:11
5. God told us the first day is a working day, so it can't be holy if God told us to do our work and labor on the first day. Exodus 20:9
6. Jesus kept the Sabbath and went into the Temples on the Sabbath day as our example reading from scripture the Word of God. Luke 4:16-17
7. The disciples also kept the seventh day Sabbath preaching God's Word to everyone as our example Acts 13:42, Acts 13:44, Acts 17:2, Acts 18:4
8. Jesus referred to the Sabbath after He went to Heaven so if there was a change to His Fathers commandments, no one let Jesus know and it did not come from Jesus or God or the disciples. Matthew 24:20
9. Jesus told the disciples after He leaves Matthew 28:20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Jesus did not instruct His disciples anything about Sunday keeping. Jesus taught in the Temples on the Sabbath as did the disciples. He told to continue with the same things He has commanded, not new things as know since there are no references to a new holy day of the Lord thy God.
10. We will continue on the New Earth and New Heaven worshipping the Lord on His day the Sabbath for eternity Isaiah 66:23 We do not have a God of confusion who flip flops the day of worship. God promises that He changes not. Malachi 3:6. God promised the Sabbath would stand forever Exodus 31:16 and we see fulfilled Isaiah 66:23

Your argument seems to be with scripture.

We are told there is no more Jew or Gentile if we are one in Christ. Galatian 3:28. What day is God's holy day? Please provide scripture to back up your claim.

I think my argument is with what you were taught. Which is to believe that the entire body of Christ is living a lie, except for the special little group you belong to.

Sounds to me like you've been taught to believe that Christianity is a lie.

Is it your claim that anyone who differs with you is to then be falsely accused of calling all of Christianity a lie?

Right, so why do you tell us that you are grafted into Israel and therefore a Jew?

Nobody says sunday is a holy day or santicified or something, we do not 'observe' sunday, that doesn't make any sense, personally i don't 'observe' any day at all.

'Some regard some day more important than the other, the other regards all days alike, everyone should be convinced in their own mind'... this is crystal clear plain text.

Of course it's an opinion. Why don't you tell me what you think about my opinion in the ordinary fashion, instead of what appears to be a programmed deflection that doesn't even apply a lot of the time.

And context helps. This was a discussion regarding the annual holy days, not the weekly Sabbath day that is a commandment of God. Exodus 20:8-11

I prefer to stick to scriptures which to be honest I don't see very many in your posts. Our opinion does not matter, only the Word of God.

I see you didn't answer my questions. Which day is the holy day of the Lord thy God. This should be a simple answer.

So if it was my opinion that a particular soup is too salty, I have to use scripture. It's a ridiculous way to avoid normal conversation, while sounding super spiritual. And I also noticed you didn't use scripture in that response tisk tisk.

Using God's Word and scripture is ridiculous to use on a Christian forum? Would you prefer to just make stuff up?

I don't know what you mean...
She was saying sunday was a holy day for 'other' christians, i said that doesn't make sense because the sunday is not a new 'sabbath' and i posted that scripture about days of Paul.
