Hello hhodgson. I'm not really wanting to start a debate here, I know it's not my forum and it's just my perspective about Andrew Wommack. But briefly, without trying to cause offence to the folks here.

I walked into the room several times when my Uncle was watching him and watched the programme:-

1) I heard Andrew Wommack say that he could dis-prove the pre-Trib rapture from scripture. He didn't but went on to talk about something else. He seemed to be quoting bible verses but not going into the whole passage and it's context. One verse from here, added to part of a verse from there. Eisegesis rather than exegesis (Perhaps that why he isn't pre-Trib)

2) He talked about how he raised someone from the dead

3) He said that true believers couldn't catch covid, but that he was shutting down his conference in 2020.

Three times he seemed to be making unsubstantiated assertions. For point 3) I lost a Christian friend to Covid and Andrew Wommack's mate Fred Price later died of Covid.

Perhaps it's just not a style of teaching I would take to, personal preference. Feedback/ comments welcomed, I'll try not to debate any further :)

God Bless :)

I'm a true believer and caught COVID...^_^

Hello hhodgson. I'm not really wanting to start a debate here, I know it's not my forum and it's just my perspective about Andrew Wommack. But briefly, without trying to cause offence to the folks here.

Hi Lismore... I agree, no debating. I watched a few of his videos where he touched on the rapture of the Church. He did say that there is no rapture and he skipped to other things as you also noticed. He did say that the rapture teaching wasn't his forte during His teaching ministry over the many years. My wife I bumped into his teaching service that he held in our area back in the beginning of the 80s in Lima, Ohio.

In my early years in our Assembly God Church that we attended, my pastor asked me if I would teach on the rapture to our youth group. So I did and teached on the pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib, and pan-trib versions of the "If" and/or the "when" of the rapture of the Church. After several months, I eventually left them with this... that any popular end-times prophesy teachers on the rapture subject could just about convince them which way they lean to, or even believe, either way. My message to them was, however they believed, to be ready either way.

I told them my view is the pre-trib rapture, and I heard Wommack years ago say the same thing that I'm about to say which is that... I may believe in (one way) but I use pan-tribulation which simply means... It will all pan out in the end. There are too many believers that very (strongly) believe in the pre-trib rapture in that, they can be so heavenly minded that they are of little earthly good. I would say to them, what if their rapture view doesn't happen? Then, I would tell them to be ready, either way.

As for Wommack raising the dead. One of his sons (years ago) died in a hospital. His other son apparently was there with him and called them at home to notify to them of what happened. They immediately prayed and took authority over the situation... on their way to the hospital. In between the time they arrived, the other son told them that they took him to the morgue and laid him down. The dead son supposedly was on the slab naked and turning black and blue and had a toe tag on his foot and was in a body bag. I think the son said that during all this, that the dead son just "raised up!" In my opinion... That's between him and God!

Yes, I believe he's wrong when he said that about "true" believers wouldn't catch covid. If that's been said, in my opinion... he needs to repent.

Have a Blessed day... (You are quite welcome to fellowship with us in our forum)

Thanks hhodgson for your kind post. I agree with much of what you said.

About the rapture, I agree a vital attitude is to be ready. Another important thing to provide comfort, we will see friends and family who died in the Lord again and we will be together with the Lord forever.

'True believer' was my paraphrase, the impression I got.

God Bless :)

It's honestly a documentary speaking about healing ministry. Focusing primarily on Benny Hinn and others. His son, Costi, who is now "reformed" and a cessationist is featured a lot in it and talks a lot about his father's ministry, which he served in. Like I stated previously though, it doesn't attack the charismatic movement as a whole, just that particular part of it. It doesn't even deny that God still heals, it's literally only attacking the practices of "faith-healers" from the perspective of the son of one who saw it first hand. Therefore, I wouldn't quite call it garbage or anything like that. It would be garbage if it attempted to convince the watcher of modern reformed theology or cessationism but it just does not do that, which I really respect them for.

Well Brother, if you watch the creators, and commentators of that movie you will here things that are distressing.
The Hinn circus has left the town.
They can only critize a man so much, then it is a boring message.
So the critics head out to find new people to attack with insults.
I have prayed for Justin Peters to be made Whole.
I believe if He can see how much He is loved, He would not attack others , and preach the the true Gospel.

I lost my Sister to a fast moving Pnomina, She had taken chemo for a year, and was missed diagnosed.
Her immune system was weak.
I was in the room with Her, a bit later I caught a upper respiratory infection.
My doctors office was slammed with people in November 2019.
This is my personal belief not all people who die from respiratory issues died from Covid.
I would not give this name any credit.
It was a weapon, it was created, we could not use treatments until the vaccine failed.
I belive the numbers were inflated to cause mass hysteria.
I lost a Son I adopted in 1986 in July 2020 to a brain aneurysm
The EMTs asked if he had covid.
I lost my brother-in-law, and best friend of 26 years in March of this year from a heart attack.
I curse COVID-19 in Jesus Name.
It has kept us in bondage long enough

Agreed. I've never spoken against a minister specifically, I've only taught against false doctrine being taught by them. Even then, it's usually not just one minister teaching the doctrine but many. There is some truth to Hinn's now-infamous "touch not the annoited of the Lord" sermon.

Sorry for your loses now faith. In Christ's name... I also "curse" COVID-19 or whatever they decide to call it when a new strain is out there. I also "curse" those who are attempting to destroy our constitution... and our nation. As long as I am still kicking on earth... "No weapon formed against our country (United States of America) will prosper"... in Jesus' Name. Our country was founded on God's principals. Let's agree to believe and keep it that way by speaking His Word! Say it daily so the devil will know that you don't mess with God's anointed people.

(Matthew 18-19) "Again, I say unto you, that two of you agree on anything on earth as touching anything they ask, it WILL be done for them of My Father which is in heaven."

Amen, my Brother.
All of us in the Body are living in a time like never before.
It may be that the trials of our Grandparents was just a s shocking.
Wednesday night prayer service began during World War Two.
People could see the terror being brought to America, and they prayed for our Soldiers, our Nation, and people World Wide to ķnow Christ.
Historical records paints a similar picture as today.
Toward the end of World War one a plague came on the earth, and had the World gripped in fear.
The Spanish Flu was on the move, and in Southern Africa Two Missionaries were at war with this plague.
One was John G Lake who's skin would kill the Flu instantly.
A mercy ship could not understand how the men could bury the bodies until they looked at John G Lakes hand under a microscope killing the virus.
God brought His anointed to battle.
As we roared into the 1920s our Nation back slid into violence, and sexual sin.
Banning booze did not stop the moonshiners, and Mob.
During this time people were murdered by the Mob and blinded by liquor that was run through radiators, causing lead poison.
The stock Market crashed in 1929 causing the wealthy to jump from buildings to their death.
People wandered the streets, and stood in soup lines.
I guess Liquor was not as attractive anymore.
The heartland of America went into a drought to make things worse.
The Midwestern states were called the dustbowel of the Nation.
Farm workers traveled any way they could building tent cities along the way.
These Cities were nicknamed Hoovervilles after the President.
Communist stood up in the camps, and riding the rails calling for a new government.
The people were very close to losing everything including our Home
Well World War Two broke out giving the Worlds economy a boost, as our Boys went to war their wives and sisters ,mothers worked in factories to fight for victory.
Our Churches were full of Ladies and older Men praying God keep us.
He did, we won, we learned to have Faith in God.
Family's were reunited and the boomers were being born from 1945 to 1960.
Yes their were political wars that cost a lot of lives, Churches went to follow their many squabbling denominations, but something very shocking happened, as if Vietnam was not living Hell for our young Men, then came Roe V Wade.
Generations have lost their sense of loyalty to God and Humanity since then, and we move further and further away from Jesus Christ.
as we now move toward killing our Children when their born, I have to think about the events of the past.
Nothing We did in the past compares to what we have done and are beginning to do.
I wonder what our Father has set aside for this time?
God Bless you, I'm not trying to cause fear, I simply remember what I have been taught.
The Book of Judges is where I find to be revelatory to the modern time, as Solomon said ,there is no new thing under the Sun.

A movie has been put out that, names Word of Faith as a false Gospel
It portrays clips of some that are not even Word of Faith.
It has sound bites of Kenneth Copeland saying money come to me!
It is not a fair portrayal of the true Word of Faith doctrine as taught mainly by Kenneth E Hagin , and the Rhema training centers.
The movie is called the American Gospel.
It was created by a young man who grew up in a Benny Hinn House Hold.
Yes there is a mistake here.
We have Among us a great Teacher who specializes in Apolgetics.
Here is his reply, hit like and share if you want to help.

My blessing to all, may that stupid virus be allegoric and scared of you and everyone you ever met.
