Yes and we rarely get these , hardly ever actually.
Phones were ringing neighbors running to each other very scary stuff.
I believe it went as far as two other states , NSW and SA.

Must have made things more interesting for the protests going on there unless those are done

No there not done but it happened before the protest began luckily.

Crazy, wonder what was being said with that .. cause that was not a normal quake, you rarely get them there.

Yeah its not known for being a quake zone or anything like that. We have probably had about three or four that I can remember from the 70s to today but they were all very mild and didn't receive a great deal of attention from the media. But this one grabbed everyones attention , it really shook some places up more than others and although there was no loss of life or horrific damage it was the stongest and went the furtherest including two other states than any of the others did.
