Remember the ten virgins parable, they were all coming to the wedding, thus they were followers of Jesus but 5 were lost.

So it will be at the end of time a lot of folks who call themselves Christians will be lost.

The mark of the beast is all about worship which is used 22 times in the book of Revelations

Revelation 13:4
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

Yet I’m hesitant about this Covid vaccine, mainly because I am Covid-recovered (and back in December, prior to infection, they were not yet available to my age group). Also because the shingles vaccine kept me from getting shingles! Not the same with Covid.

The Los Angeles City Council passed a motion Wednesday that would allow the city to begin drafting plans to require people to show they have been vaccinated against Covid-19 to enter businesses, following New York City’s lead, in an effort to curb growing coronavirus cases due to the delta variant.

Under the proposal, people in Los Angeles that are eligible for the Covid-19 vaccine will need to show proof they have gotten at least one shot to enter restaurants, bars, retail stores, fitness centers, spas, movie theaters and entertainment venues, according to the City Council’s press release.

If they are unable to provide proof, they would not be able to enter one of those businesses.

Yes, the Catholic organisation. There are nearly as many opinions as there are denominations. I do not believe that the beast has arisen yet. I would not be surprised if it is a merger of Catholicism, Islam and Judaism. There has been movement in that direction for many years. God knows. At the right time, so will we.

Polio vaccinations were a far cry from GMO foods, SSRI anti depressants and modern pharmaceuticals.

The flu shot is completely worthless as even if every person in the world took it.

It would do nothing to reduce infection or serious cases.

The flu shot is virtually identical to COVID vaccines in that regard.

Israel has one of the highest COVID vaccination rates in the world and only saw circumstances relating to COVID trend poorly as a result. There isn't a case in the entire world where any major country showed improvement from having a higher vaccination rate.

I disagree. I know many people who get the full shot every year who never get the flu. So it does work.

As a frontline worker and this will be considered anecdotal, but I have yet to get covid and I am in a high risk group as I have asthma. I have transported covid positive patients all throughout this pandemic and still haven't gotten covid. I attribute that to making sure patients are masked as well me being masked and I am fully vaccinated.

I know that others haven't been so lucky following all the same precautions, but I do know that they have worked for me.

Thankfully, I have changed jobs and will no longer be around covid patients. I'm still in the medical field though and there are people who have it who don't know, but all will be required to wear a mask into our facility.

This summer we got a report 98-99% of COVID deaths were occurring among unvaccinated people.

Covid does not have a vaccine as the folks that have gotten the shot are still getting it in large numbers.

So lets not call it a "vaccine" and compare it to polio

Lets call it what it is, an experimental drug using humans as the alpha test group.

You do know that the CDC just recently change the definition of vaccine and vaccination do you wonder why they did that?

I support mask mandates. There are athletes in the UFC (mixed martial arts) that tested positive for COVID who didn't infect others in close proximity despite them basically bro hugging their homeys. The only protection they had was a mask and in some cases gloves.

AFAIK vaccines don't do anything to prevent infection.

There are some US states and foreign countries who have good COVID numbers despite rejecting vaccines and lockdowns for longer than 12 consecutive months.

People were promised that COVID vaccines would make things better. And that certainly doesn't seem to be happening anywhere.

In some cases, you are correct and in others, you are not. They were never 100% effective, no vaccine is.

AFAIK every COVID-19 vaccine on the market is intended to boost the immune system to reduce serious cases.

None are marketed as preventing infection from COVID-19.
