Large numbers. With a huge global population of 7 billion, then usually the total births per day would not change rapidly, even if they went up or down from the average per day by a tiny percentage on any individual day. A number like 225,000/day would be an average over time.

Interesting side topic: today I heard on the radio that 2020 was the first year in U.S. history where total deaths exceeded total births.

from what i have looked at, over time is only 24 hour period, it does go up and down every day, some days there are only 190,000 net population growth, but after all the daily deaths it is a net growth of about 225k a day. it is at 205k but still got about 2 more hours, since January of this year a net growth of 58 million.

Ah, they must rely on a method. The method will result in the number they have. In other words, I think for this they have basically a methodology that results in a good estimation that will be expected to be reasonably close to some actual number that isn't known. Relying on an authoritative report that makes an estimation of the trend possibly: World Population Clock: 7.9 Billion People (2021) - Worldometer

Here's the key paragraph on their method:

"Obviously, the UN data is based on estimates and can't be 100% accurate, so in all honesty nobody can possibly say with any degree of certainty on which day world population reached 7 billion (or any other exact number), let alone at what time. But once an estimate is made (based on the best data and analysis available), the world population clock should be showing the same number at any given time anywhere around the world."
World Population Clock: 7.9 Billion People (2021) - Worldometer

It's as I guessed above: they have a very carefully formed estimate from the UN, and then simply have a way of showing how that number for population would increase over time according to that projection (as if population was rising just as the projection estimates, as if the estimation were perfect).

It’s more than likely off, I read it said between 3% and 5% but it’s the internet lol, but other sources pretty much say the same thing world population is growing by leaps and bounds specially in the last 100 years.

Largely on the back of vaccines & pharmaceutical advances. Large families were common in ye olden days because (besides the need for “bodies” to run an agrarian society) one could expect to lose a child or two to disease.
Rusty nails could be lethal!

War was brutal in the old days, war is brutal regardless but one such is Mongol empire during genghis khan reign some 50 million deaths roughly 10% of the world’s population in 1200AD.

interesting thing I read about that war, what happened mostly in China

“the annihilation of so many human beings and cities under Genghis Khan may have scrubbed as much as 700 million tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere by allowing forests to regrow on previously populated and cultivated land”

15k DIDN"T die did even read the article? And yeah, people died, Again it took nearly a year to do what unvaccinated do in 2-3 days. So yeah vaccines work. Also you kinda ignore the part about 87% are people in the agegroup that need the vaccines the most as they are the most susceptible to dying. Your own talking points refute your own arguments. Your doing the whole, "People still die in car crashes with seatbelts, therefore seatbelts don't work." nonsense. Your argument would have SOME point if it was 3k people dead this week from covid that were vaccinated. The hard facts you YOURSELF are showing show that vaccines work period.

"Were hospitalized or died", that should read, from the article cited: 15,790 Fully Vaccinated Americans Either Hospitalized Or Died Of COVID-19 Correction so noted.

I never ignored that the older people/those with co-morbidities are getting the jab and are more susceptible to the virus. In fact, I stated just that several times in this post.
