Prayers for my sister in her final days

My older sister has been in and out of the hospital. She has had Lupus for years and now her heart and other vital organs are done, particularly her heart. She was sent home for hospice and has only days to live according to her Physicians. Prayers for her comfort and that Jesus will be merciful.

I’m so sorry Eastcost. Lupus is a dreadful disease. My mother struggles with it as well. Prayers for you, your sister, and the whole family.

I spoke with my sister today for an hour or so. She sounds good but realizes that she is on hospice and no further hospitalization will be forthcoming. She has been in and out of the hospital for some time. She seems at peace with this and has put plans in place regarding her home and her grandchild. her grandchild has started college and my sister has been taking care of her for sometime after my sisters daughter has passed away. It comes down to the next crisis and that will be the end of her journey.

Her Grandchild sent this today:

Still praying eastcoast. I’m wondering when one of my stepdad’s medical team will be recommending hospice. He just had an appointment today and so far, nobody has brought it up.
