Where is Gabrielle Petito?

I read and saw a video...
A couple saw the van but it wasn't until they viewed the 'Go-Pro' on their vehicle that they realized who's it might be and called the authorities.

The office pool odds point to the man committing suicide.

Or being caught and found unfit to stand trial

From what we saw of him at the traffic stop, ... I don't think that an insanity plea is possible.

That defense almost never works and I see nothing to indicate it would work here.

As a super narcissist, he might decide on a Ted Bundy-type defense to bask in the glow of attention.

Most likely he will die at his own hand or from exposure while hiding out. Given he was stupid enough to drive home and fail to concoct some "accident" leads me in this direction.

Or he may have someone helping him with a plan to leave the country. The parents' behavior is very odd.

Those Utah cops should have separated them that day. I know it's easy to say that in retrospect, but they didn't follow the law. She admitted slapping the guy but since he didn't want to press charges, and they were a cute white couple police failed in their duty to protect them both. Let's not pretend nobody would have been taken to jail had they been blacks or minorities.

The police officers did in fact separate them. They put him up in a hotel for the night. They sent her somewhere in the van.

Oh yeah, you are right. I thought they let them both go together. They did let them both go tho. I know some states don't let folks decide whether to press charges, the state presses charges anyhow if battery occurs.

Sorry, it's the name of a company that makes video cameras, etc. I think theirs was attached to the front of their vehicle, it says in the article I read.

He returned home to his parent's home on Sept 1 but her parents didn't report her missing until Sept 11. I wonder when he or his parents contacted her parents to let them know he came back but she didn't?
It seems to me that any parent would understand that the other parents need to know right away.

I'm betting the mother of the missing girl kept calling the daughter. Then got ahold of the boyfriend's parents or couldn't. Then filed a missing persons report.

My point was that his parents knew that he had returned without her but didn't bother to let her parents know? That to me is very odd for caring parents to do. If the shoe was on the other foot would they want her parents or her to let them know their son was left afoot so far from home?

Not heard about it until this thread but it is sad.. very sorry for this girl's parents. Hard to loose a child, made all the more difficult being a sudden and violent end.

Weird that the BF isn't talking... very weird. But it's not necessarily indicative of guilt, most guilty people come up with a story.

Yeah, she was living with his parents and him is my understanding.

Gabby's funeral will be held Sunday in New York.
