Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry to hear that. I will be praying for her comfort and that she feels the peace and love of the Lord. I will also be lifting you up in prayer- this is such a hard thing to go through.

I pray that God would heal your mother's lungs, either through a miracle or through the talent of the doctors and nurses. I also pray that God would lift up and comfort your whole family during this scary time.

Father God, I lift up my mom to you in Jesus name. I asked, Lord God, that you would touch my mom and heal her. I pray that you would heal every organ in her body. I ask, Lord God, for your peace upon her. Lord have mercy.
Lord God, I know that your servant, David, said that if he had regard any sin in his heart that his prayers would be ignored. I pray that you would forgive me for the sins in my heart. Help me to turn from them. Have mercy on my mom. Thank you for her life. Thank you for her dedication to you. Thank you, Lord God, that she taught me right from wrong. Thank you that you saved her soul from hell. Thank you, Lord God. I know that it is not my will, but yours be done. Give us peace for whatever your will may be. I pray these things in Jesus' name. I am not sure that is exactly what David said. It does help to have a clean heart before the Lord, but He is the Father of Mercies and we are all sinful and are still seeing prayers answered. Years ago I even had prayers answered in rather miraculous ways, when I got desperate enough to pray, though I was calling myself an atheist or agnostic.
Never think the Lord will reject your prayers because you are not perfect. If that were so how could prayers for salvation ever be answered?
