What's the source of this narrative? (I'll try to match the video later, but a slow hour is more than I'm willing to invest at this time).

Nephilim get a couple of vague references in the Bible and a part in a massively expanded version of Genesis 6 in the Book of Enoch (but not many Christians see this as a reliable source).

But all the stories about Nephilim space aliens and ancient world genetic engineering just seems to be as completely made up as UFO conflicts with space federations and dragon blood lines.

A number of years ago I found myself in a discussion with an individual who claimed that the Hebrew word ariel (a word that occurs a few times in the Hebrew Bible) referred to lion-human hybrids created by antedeluvian fallen angels. Why? Because Ariel in Hebrew means "lion of God".

I remain as baffled now as I was then as to how they came to this bizarre conclusion.

I don't have a citation, this is what I believe from scripture as being a strong possibility.

We know God created the angelic host.
Colossians 1:16

16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

We know Satan fell from heaven with a great number of other angels
Luke 10:18
And he said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

That they are real and aim to deceive

1 Peter 5:8-9
8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Part of the deception is they can change appearance

2 Corinthians 11:14

14 And no wonder, since Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

So if strange beings turn up I think there is a good chance they could be demons.

The only way to meet an alien whether it's hostile or friendly is do or possess something extraordinary.

It can be in terms of supernatural abilities or even ideas or inventions that are "game-changing".

Or to avoid them entirely, shun any possibility of meeting them to preserve the belief of non-existence, then be like everybody else, be a regular cog in this machine we call society.

We know God created the angelic host.
Colossians 1:16

The stars / galaxies are the angelic host / heavenly host. The Bible do mention them as "stars" as well and the term is used interchangeably.

The Bible have also at times refered to heavenly bodies are living creatures (They can cry out to Him and even take orders and execute them). The scientific community is also considering the possibility that stars and even planets are living things in some form that may possess intelligence so far "removed" from us in terms of time and magnitude we cannot observe it (observation may require time spans of millions of years).

It seems to imply that the Universe is like one large living entity with each heavenly body serving a distinct purpose like the organs, blood and bones in the body. But here's the catch, if one body gets "sick" they are either cast out to be destroyed or "cleansed", both by "fire" or simply extremely high temperatures.

Is there any reason to believe that any "strange beings" have turned up?

I don't know, ask those who believe they have had witnessed alien sightings.

The point is if you believe in the demonic and believe they can look different ways then there is a possibility for them to appear as aliens. I don't see what is so outlandish about that. -Unless you don't believe in the existence of Satan and demons which would go against your own church teachings.

Why would they bother? What part of Satan's plan is advanced by fallen angels looking like little green men from Mars?

Given that there are alien cults built around the worship of aliens, you tell me.

Why would I tell you? You're the one making the claim... and now you have made another one. What alien cults exist that worship aliens, exactly? Can you name one? More importantly, can you show how this is anything other than an incredibly tiny number of people? Why would Satan spend so much resource on 0.000000001% of the population?

Well you did have the Heaven's Gate cult, but that's the only one I recall.

Heaven's Gate was the most notorious. The entire group committed suicide so they could leave their bodily 'containers' and enter an alien spacecraft hidden behind the Hale-Bopp comet.

But there are plenty more around.

It's a bizarre tiny minority.

The narrative of pretend aliens to mislead the faithful is internally consistent... but it's missing the crucial component, the actual pretend aliens.

There's nothing in the narrative that indicate they couldn't land a demon-powered flying saucer in Central Park and say "We come in peace! Here, have magical technology and learn that your religions are false."

Sure, but that could grow and would if alien sightings became more common. They don't have to land in central park for cults to form. A light bobbing around in the sky is enough to get some people on the band wagon.

It doesn't fit into your world view, I get that. You also don't believe in aliens but many people do. Just because you choose not to believe something doesn't make it not true. No one is expecting you to and I certainly wasn't directing my initial comments at you since that would be a waste of time.

For Christian's, angels and demons should be as real as God. Scripture says that demons aim to deceive and can change form. Given that, it would not be impossible for demons to pose as aliens. So if aliens ever landed my first assumption would be demons. I am not saying they will, I am saying hypothetically, if they did.
There has been many claims of UFO sightings and other strange phenomenon through the years. I believe those to be either made up, delusions or demons.

From the start point of demons being absolutely real, I can understand you conclusion... it's the explanation that seems completely internally inconsistent.

(While UFO cults are real... they are vastly out numbered by cults that claim to be connected to Christianity in some bizarre occult way.)
