More Fellowship with Soph and Friends (200)

Hopefully things will get a lot better soon but the heat may last into October here.

The price of eggs has gone way up the last few months lately making me wonder if the chicken joined a union or something.

Wow...... it is raining hard..... probably won't last long though likely just enough to put water stains and flood some areas perhaps.

I'm struggling but ok for now. The weather is less hot but still requires A/C most of the time

I sure miss the big blessing threads, but since blessings aren't good for anything I can't see any way to get them going again.

I see CVS has some new program (or club) soaking people for $60/year by "giving" them a discount on their generic products. These drug store chains have huge markups having to get a stupid card just to not be super soaked on prices is adding insult to injury IMO. As much as I'm not a fan of Walmart after these drug stores went to the card discount systems I completely stopped shopping there as most of the time walmart is cheaper even with their card club. Auto part stores are playing similar games marking up costs and "giving" you discounts.
The one reason Sears went under is people got used to waiting for sales to buy stuff from them as they had sales often instead of pricing things good to begin with.
When every day prices are too high having to deal with gimmicks to buy something at affordable prices is a pain in the rear.

Whew....... 99 right now and shockingly the high tomorrow won't even be 80 degrees outside.

You could say that. I was in a bad car wreck. My back is seriously messed up. I’m having trouble walking and in physical therapy

Hopefully nothing permanent. I was in a car wreck long ago that messed up my leg for a few years like it stretched the tendon or something as I would be walking along and my leg would just collapse underneath me unexpectedly.
I guess I'm lucky I'm very cautious with my back I've had no back problems.
