LOL. Yeah, us righties are all about dictionary removal. Why just the other day we gathered at the school board meeting and demanded Webster be removed from the school. Oh yeah and we started a coalition to have all the handicapped kids removed as well. Can't have any of those darn wheelchairs bumping into my kid now. Why, I was just at a protest the other day demanding all black kids be removed from the school. Can't have any coloreds around. No sir. LOL. The vast majority of us righties are dead set against Anne Frank. After all we all know them Jews got what they deserved. Yessiree.

90% of all kids grades 4-8 claim to have experienced bullying.
Basically every kid experiences bullying at some point.

Yup, I was bullied. So was my friend. I actually know quite a few kids that were.
Now if the schools would actually do something about it, that would be great. But they are pretty much all talk and no action.

Ok...because they were discriminated against at other schools.
If they're denied the loan because they're black....yeah.
I thought my example of a black kid born in 1960 was pretty clear.

Yes I would say those people were victims of discrimination and racism. I don't think anyone is saying there hasn't been any it that no one is ever a victim.
What we are saying is just cause there have been victims in the past of racism, doesn't mean the entire race of today are victims of racism. The Jews during Hitler's reign of terror were victims. Today, the Jews are no longer victims of Nazi extermination. They are no longer being exterminated by Germany.
Gay people are not automatically victims of bullying for being gay just cause they are gay. They actually have to face the bullying for being gay before they can claim victimhood.

When I said earlier that it is characteristic of a bully to be a coward at heart, I forgot to mention that as a part of this, when confronted on this (which strips of them their power and brings their cowardice to the forefront), they almost hide behind victimhood as their excuse...
...of course, I'm talking about hypothetical bullies; I'm not referring to anyone specific.

Directly? It's been a while. Fifth Grade, to be precise.
Freddie Dodds used to love sneaking up behind students and giving them wedgies... but you better believe he cried like a kicked dog all the way to the principal's office when someone who bore a striking resemblance to a young TLK Valentine (if you can imagine someone that handsome), turned around and popped him right in the nose.
1 week of detention, and worth every minute... or so I've heard.
of course, one can look at various religious or political groups who try to use their influence to bend others to their will... and then howl "persecution!" when the courts rule against them...

Conservatives have worked to ban the dictionary in dozens of school libraries. Menifee Union School District in S. Carolina, the Augres high school in Michigan come to mind. I remember the Augres incident. A local Baptist preacher got his congregation worked up because the dictionary in the high school library had entries for *gasp* body parts
The American Library Association lists the dictionary as the 105th most banned and challenged book of the last decade
in 2015 religious schools in 27 states sued the federal government so they could be exempt from having to admit students under Title VI of the civil rights act
Segregation is still Alive at These Christian Schools
over 1000 schools districts have banned the Diary of Anne Frank from school the primary complaint was that the book is "inappropriate contentographic" but is suspect the real complaint is that it flies in the face of Holocaust deniers.

the National Bullying Prevention Center, Stopbullying.gov and the American SPCC all agree that it is about 20% of children at some point in their schooling will be the target of bullying. In High School that number falls to between 10 and 14%....unless you are LGBT then it's 85%....but you don't think its such a bad thing for them to be bullied.
