BZZZT wrong, the reasons that vaccines are better normally is adjuvants they help boost your immune response making sure your more likely to have a good response to the vaccine, something that catching the disease normally doesn't have. Here is the thing, you can argue that MRNA vaccines aren't as good as natural immunity since your only learning part of the virus, but normal vaccines give you the whole virus + the adjuvant that gives you the whole virus plus something to make your immune system respond better. This whole natural immunity is normally just one massive naturalistic fallacy.

And like I said, with covid, taking both is the better way. It's like invectermin and such, even if they work, they only help you when your sick already the vaccine helps you not get sick in the first place.
Quoted upthread many sources. You can read them if you are really interested but I suspect you have devolved into argument for argument's sake at this point, as you keep repeating yourself.

Thing is this is reality. There is no reason for natural immunity to be better then vaccines, it's not logically possible. And last list I saw was a bunch of nonsense, that I already replied too, if you have a different one link me to it. A dead vaccine and a live vaccine are no different to the immune system, there is no reason one would be better then the other, only reason vaccines are better is the adjuvant.

I don't remember adjuvants ever being mentioned in any of these threads before. So it was new info to me.

Keep digging.

I wouldn't want anyone who thinks as above anywhere near the medical decision making process. Regardless of why someone becomes ill, they are in a vulnerable state and should never be subjected to the whims of people who have an agenda, those who love playing God or those who do not have compassion for the sick, period.
It isn't so much why someone becomes ill as where can limited resources be used to give the best expected outcome. Looking at the odds, vaccinated covid patients who end up in the hospital have much better potential outcomes. I get all the rationalization that people are evil for making that kind of choice, but it is people who refused to get vaccinated who are requiring doctors to deal with the fact that their resources are limited in the first place. Actions have consequences, and this is one where you can't complain to the virus' manager to fix.

Has it? Like.... evidence?

This would happen naturally as unvaccinated people get sick from covid and [mostly] recover, assuming natural immunity works against new variants. Doesn't necessarily mean anything about vaccine effectiveness, just that the disease has already worked its way through the unvaccinated.

Already asked and answered. It's all over the news. It was all unvaccinated before the huge push in the summer; now the rates of the vaccinated are rising with all the "breakthrough" cases. This is just a single hospital:

“We’ve probably seen more vaccinated people admitted into the hospital over the last week or two than we ever have cumulatively before,” he said. “There have even been a couple of deaths. Some of those folks are immuno-suppressed, so arguably they aren’t vaccinated or protected in the same way those with a normal immune system would be protected.”

The Shelby County Health Department said there have been 246 breakthrough cases, or cases within fully vaccinated people. Eight have involved the Delta variant. Nearly 400,000 people in Shelby County have been vaccinated.

"According to data updated Wednesday by the Illinois Department of Public Health, 159 people in Illinois have died due to COVID-19 or complications after being fully vaccinated. That figure equates to 2.3% of COVID-19 deaths in the state since Jan. 1, officials said.

At least 593 fully vaccinated people have been hospitalized in Illinois, IDPH said. The state only reports breakthrough infections among those who have been hospitalized or died, following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, IDPH said."

159 Dead, 593 Hospitalized in Illinois Breakthrough COVID Cases

Just read the news. The numbers are low all over, so these numbers are low too, but it's happening.

I expect those numbers to increase because there is some unknown as to how effective the vaccine is longer term.
Ultimately though, I prefer to some context comparing vaxxed and unvaxxed in hospitals.

What is your point? Nobody ever said the vaccine was 100% even you ought to understand this by now. As to proportion of vaccinated infections rising relative to unvaccinated, yes that the fraction that is vaccinated increases so will the number of breakthroughs relative to unvaccinated. This is what you learn when you take fractions, it is grade school math.
As for your Illinois example, so 40 times as many unvaccinated people died since January. Illinois is ~50% percent vaccinated at this point.
Again, what is your point?

I appreciate the irony of attempting to use data that shows that nearly 98% of covid deaths were among unvaccinated people as an argument that the vaccine isn't effective. Hopefully everyone else got a good laugh too. Given how grim the news has been about covid, a bit of humor is a good thing.

It's hilarious when people die - to some people I guess.

The point went over your head, but I will stop now. This is long unfruitful.

A Boy Went to a COVID-Swamped ER. He Waited for Hours. Then His Appendix Burst.

Seth Osborn, the 12-year-old whose appendix burst after a long wait, spent five days and four nights in the hospital as doctors pumped his body full of antibiotics to stave off infection from the rupture. The typical hospitalization for a routine appendectomy is about 24 hours.

When you deny the vaccine, you deny yourself that right.

Not only that when enough people deny that vaccine, they deny treatment to people who have had the vaccine and are dying from other causes.

Your body, your choice. But if your choice is capricious and mercurial, to be changed when things are going poorly and you could have avoided it to the start.

What ever happenned to "personal responsibility"?

I didn't know the vaccine had rights.
At least I learned something new today.

I stayed at home, thinking I had the flu. Mine burst at home.

It's no one's fault that the appendix burst. I met a doctor in the hospital when we were pushing around our IVs who said he also thought he had the flu.

That boy might have been there years ago, when there was no Covid to blame for everything, and still been in line behind several emergencies.

"Wow, just wow...and she decides to waste space in lieu of someone who really needs the bed."

Frist.. the love for many will go cold. Were seeing this everywhere.. this hurts. Love one another as I have loved you.

What I am having trouble with is.. so unvaccinated "get out of the hospital" yet those that had the vaccine and then get covid again.. oh its ok for them to be in the hospital?

Hmm another thing I am having problems with al the hospitals where 50% PLUS nurses and staff and doctors will NOT take the shot. Odd huh. They know about this better then anyone here. Better then all those in the media and they won't take the shot. Me.. seems should ask why and just what are they SEEING is not being reported.

I PRAISE GOD MOST hospitals NEVER ONCE have these thoughts "unvaccinated" should not be allowed in. Yeah.. 2018 ICU's are meant to ALWAYS BE FULL! Their words and right now EVERY ICU is not full of unvaccinated.. many are in there but many are also vaccinated.

So saying this to the mom and here kid that never got the shot? Going post here and complain.. say that kid should be be given a bed? Or if its your mom or best friends mom.. going say it to them?

“out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks". You know I believe fallen away can mean depart.. take out yet.. it does seem fallen away from the truth... the love for many will wax cold
