Will my prayers be unheard if I am not a Christian? If I call upon the name of the Lord Jesus, in response to a tragic event that is happening, will my prayers be unheard?
If he didn't, no one could become a Christian.

Of course, for those that are Christians already, the point is moot. Are you doubting your salvation?

So perhaps a prayer saying, "God, if you exist, I am asking you to reveal yourself to me. Help me believe."
I don't think that is what the OP was suggesting as a prayer of non believers, I think it was along the line of people who refuse to believe but ask (pray) for God's help. I think an act of desperation would suffice for these people and sometimes an answered prayer may lead to salvation other times not.

Of course He hears you, but it doesn't mean that He will respond you in the way you like.

in a word, yes. He hears all, but He’ll simply ignore you.
G-d does not ignore anyone. We just have to recognise the answer. The thing is the answer may not be the one we wanted and we may still have to search for it. Remember the Centurion and I am sur there were many others.

Can the world that does not know or believe in Him does He hear them? No. This is not up for debate. Can you call on Him.. to help to save you. Yes. Its not call on Him when you need then hang up.. that never happens. He does not play games.. He is not like man.

For things like calling on the name of the lord you shall be delivered/saved. "For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

It is also written "We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him."

Yet He also says "Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered."

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

The end is clear the book only book you are told to read and blessed for reading .. it is written "But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

"Ignore" is a great feature in the CF. I use it often, but I'm sure God has more patience than I do.

God knows all prayers being prayed, but how can we expect God will answer our requests as long as we deny Him as our Lord?

Not really. Why would anyone call on God, unless God gave them reason to do so? Do you think the circumstances of unbelievers' lives are not "allowed" —caused— by God?
I was referring to Peter and Paul being called to apostleship. They weren't praying for anything looking for answers but called to serve.

If you read Romans 10:13

“Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved”

Call on His name to save you. You'll never look back.

Thank you

I have been repenting a lot. Well, trying to anyways. But because my sins are like bad habits and very hard to break, I find myself sinning without even trying. My imaginations are evil sometimes. But I recognize them as evil, and I am praying the Lord for mercy, and help to take captive my thoughts.

Well, hopefully that's not true, but thank you for your response.

Don't worry. I know His Spirit very well. If there is but the merest little shadow of a hope of getting to know the Lord in your heart, He will let His Spirit draw you closer. See, it is only by the Holy Spirit of God that one ever has any hope of coming to the Lord. So, by the time you start to think of Jesus, know that His Spirit is already tugging at the strings of your heart with love and gentleness. We Christians are supposed to know this, but many don't. Don't be afraid of Him. He loves you with a mighty passion. He won't shout at you. He will forgive you and make you His own. He won't chase you around if you come to Him. No, He would give you peace and forgiveness. Don't hesitate. Ask Him to save you, and to let His Spirit lead you in truth.

Praying for a loved one that's in the hospital. Hopefully that God has mercy on her.

Do you have any faith that praying to God will help?

I will pray for your loved one too.

Let's all pray.

Thank you very much. Like I said on another post, I have been repenting. And this is nice to know. Thank you.

He sent His son to die for the sins of man that they could have a righteous pathway to Him. When we accept Jesus Christ we set up communication. So many refuse this offer that for the life of me I don't understand except that they want to do things their way.

They don't always want to do things their own way without God. I know that people say that people who continue in their sin, love their sin. But in order for people to love their sin, they would have to be proud of their sin. People are proud of the things that they love. They don't feel shamed by the things they love. Sometimes they are just trapped in their sin. And it seems impossible to get out of.

But I have been repenting, like I said in another post, but it seems impossible, because sin for some people can be like a drug. It isn't just our behavior God is concerned about. But it's our thoughts. For example, a person can have victory over inappropriate content by simply not looking at it, but he may find himself lusting after characters on TV and not even realizing it. It is simply done habitually. That is why I find repenting very difficult.

God called Peter while Peter was yet a sinner. God called Paul after Paul voted to stone Stephen, a believer. Will a sinner get everything he or she wants?

Probably not.

I understand

I just pray that if God doesn't intervene that God will enable me to accept his will.
