We would be, if certain interests had their way.

The fact that we're still burning them at all is a testament to their waning but still very powerful influence.

The thing is that that kind of behaviour is incredibly demoralising for new members of staff (and speaking as a manager in a mental health service in the UK for the NHS) that demoralisation translates into staff sickness and a drop in productivity.

That needs to be stamped out ASAP. Quite apart from the fact that a nurse should uphold the compassionate values of a caring service.

Is it so different in America?

Here in South Africa, folks get fired for saying bad things on social media. That's why I don't share any thing on social media at all. Even here on CF, my user name is vastly different from any others. And in that vein, my daughter has since grown older, but for security reasons, I'll never update the picture.

That’s true in the UK. You should NEVER say anything offensive online.

But why would you want to? Freedom to a jerk only benefits jerks.

Where is the link that says she was fired from being a Cigna nurse? Who knows? Well, someone on Twitter knows of someone who said she was fired...this was confirmed by someone else on Reddit (r/nashville) who heard that someone knows someone else who works at Cigna and knows she got fired, so there!

Grandma actually got exposed to the virus by someone - vaccinated or unvaccinated, who transmitted the virus to her. That's why she died, unfortunately.

One dies because he is vulnerable and contracts the virus, not because "someone didn't wear a mask".

No one laughed because Grandma died, but because of the erroneous, political reason given.

Getting let go for not waring a mask or getting the shot or just standing out side doing nothing getting fired those are ok but this one..just not right huh. Yet I was not there and a short video does not can not begin to tell us what really happened. She might have been laughing at something else not even listening or could have and laughed at that where she KNOWS better.

We really have ZERO idea, do we? It could be her 3X vaccinated neighbor, for all we know, who spread it to her. Or some random unvaccinated contact she met in a store. Or anyone in between that she might even have noticed.

The point is that we have no idea and the time to stop the nonsensical rhetoric of "blaming the vaccinated" is long past.

I’ve only seen the left trying to get people on the right fired. It’s rarely happened in reverse. It’s obvious why they do it. They want to silence people on the right who disagree with them politically.

You saw a taste of it the way they attacked anyone who wore a Trump cap. Literally assaulting people over an item of clothing. And what is amazing The left thinks that it’s OK

You are correct. Only the left is into silencing and firing those with disparate views. The middle and the right just say, Ok, pal....whatever you want to believe. Here are some facts....etc.

For years the left preach tolerance preached tolerance to get gay marriage accepted. That is typical with the left they have no tolerance for people with opposing political views.

They only preach tolerance when they want to get through agenda excepted by the main stream. Actual tolerance for opposing political views or for freedom of speech they have little tolerance for.

What is scary is the kind of censoring they do is comparable to what you see in government run countries like China. There is no room in China for opposing political views which is what the left is pushing for with the cancel culture here

So who was attempting to suppress whose speech?

The lady who was allegedly fired was smirking and shaking her head when the student was expressing his concerns about masks. The kid could hear her rudeness because he turned around and looked at her in frustration. Also if you had gone to any effort at all you would have heard a male voice tell the student to shut up. The kid wasn't the malicious one here.

So how can you justify the rudeness of the lady when the kid was the innocent one here? Or was he a leftist plant?

I had no idea the nurse's employer was such a leftist. Man, the Left seems to be in all sorts of positions of power...
