There is no more Jew or Greek all are now one in Christ. If we are not a part of God's Israel born into God's new covenant promise through faith we have no part in Gods' new covenant promise.

Jeremias 27:4 In those days, and at that time, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Juda together; they shall proceed, weeping as they go, seeking the Lord their God. 5 They shall ask the way till they come to Sion, for that way shall they set their face; and they shall come and flee for refuge to the Lord their God; for the everlasting covenant shall not be forgotten. 6 My people have been lost sheep: their shepherds thrust them out, they caused them to wander on the mountains: they went from mountain to hill, they forgot their resting-place. 7 All that found them consumed them: their enemies said, Let us not leave them alone, because they have sinned against the Lord: He that gathered their fathers had a pasture of righteousness.

Jeremias 38:30 But every one shall die in his own sin; and the teeth of him that eats the sour grape shall be set on edge. 31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Juda:

Jeremias 39:37 Behold, I will gather them out of every land, where I have scattered them in My anger, and My wrath, and great fury; and I will bring them back into this place, and will cause them to dwell safely: 38 and they shall be to Me a people, and I will be to them a God. 39 And I will give them another way, and another heart, to fear Me continually, and that for good to them and their children after them. 40 And I will make with them an everlasting covenant, which I will by no means turn away from them, and I will put My fear into their heart, that they may not depart from Me. 41 And I will visit them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land in faithfulness, and with all My heart, and with all My soul.

Osee 1:8 And she weaned Unpitied; and she conceived again, and bore a son. 9 And He said, Call his name, Not My people: for ye are not My people, and I am not your God. 10 Yet the number of the children of Israel was as the sand of the sea, which shall not be measured nor numbered: and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said to them, Ye are not My people, even they shall be called the sons of the living God. 11 And the children of Juda shall be gathered, and the children of Israel together, and shall appoint themselves one head, and shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezrael. ... 19 And I will betroth thee to Myself for ever; yea, I will betroth thee to Myself in righteousness, and in judgment, and in mercy, and in tender compassions; 20 and I will betroth thee to Myself in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the Lord.

1 Peter 1:1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the chosen Diaspora in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 2:9 But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light: 10 Which in time past [were] not a people, but [are] now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Matthew 4:15 The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, [by] the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Nation; 16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. 17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Psalms 23:1 The Lord tends Me as a shepherd, and I shall want nothing. 2 In a place of green grass, there He has made me dwell: He has nourished me by the water of rest. 3 He has restored my soul: He has guided me into the paths of righteousness, for His name's sake. 4 Yea, even if I should walk in the midst of the shadow of death, I will not be afraid of evils: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, these have comforted me.

John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But He that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To Him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear His voice: and He calleth His own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4 And when He putteth forth His own sheep, He goeth before them, and the sheep follow Him: for they know His voice. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

He is not saying every Jew will be saved, he is saying the nation of Israel at the end of the Tribulation will be saved corporately, as a nation.

If you are a Jew now, and your lifespan ends before the Tribulation, and you did not believe the gospel found in 1 Cor 15:1-4, you are lost like any unbelieving gentile.

Why don't you consider 1 Corinthians 15:5-8 part of your gospel for gentiles? What good is "christ crucified" apart from the witnessing thereof? How can those eight verses be really representative of the gospel for the gentiles? Why aren't the verses that say faith apart from works... part of the gospel that saves gentiles?

True... but why does Saul, a Benjaminite born in Tarsus, call himself a Judean?

Galatians 2:15 We [who are] Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

Ioudaia = feminine of Ioudaios, the Judaean land (i.e. Judaea), a region of Palestine:--Judaea.

Romans 3:29 [Is he] the God of the Jews only? [is he] not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:

Matthew 22:32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
National/religious identity. Just as John McCain, born in Panama, called himself an American. Paul was and is a Jew, he followed the religion of the Jews(the national religion of Judaea). The Jewish people are comprised of those of the tribe of Benjamin and Judah, not just Judah. Some Reubenites could also possibly consider themselves Jews since a part of Reuben was in Judah as well.

Isaiah 66:3 But the transgressor that sacrifices a calf to Me, is as he that kills a dog; and he that offers fine flour, as one that offers swine’s blood; he that gives frankincense for a memorial, is as a blasphemer.LXX

Acts 26:10-11 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against [them]. And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled [them] to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted [them] even unto strange cities.

Matthew 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and [some] of them ye shall kill and crucify; and [some] of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute [them] from city to city:

Revelation 11:8 And their dead bodies in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Ok thanks for sharing..... sooooo? What do you think those scriptures mean and how does it respond to the post you are quoting from? As posted earlier, I think one thing that a lot of people seem to forget and that the new covenant was never made with gentiles *Hebrews 8:10-12; from Jeremiah 31:31-34; Ezekiel 36:24-27. Gods' Israel according to the new covenant scriptures are no longer all those born of the flesh of the seed of Abraham but all those who are now born of the Spirit who believe and follow Gods' Word *Romans 9:6-8; Galatians 3:27-28; Romans 2:28-29. There is no more Jew or Greek all are now one in Christ. If we are not a part of God's Israel born into God's new covenant promise through faith we have no part in Gods' new covenant promise.

God bless.

It is summed up in 1 Cor 15:1-4, but throughout Romans and other of Paul's epistles, the gospel that saves us now is explained fully.

I'm not sure your point, nor the relation to the post you quoted? How do you think those verses apply to the statement I made?

After Matthew 16:23, apparently Jesus forgave Peter... Jesus prays for His Disciples... and those who believe on Him through their word... meaning, those who keep Jesus' Commandments, Matthew 28:18-20... because they keep God's word:

John 17:6 I have manifested Thy name unto the men which Thou gavest Me out of the world: Thine they were, and Thou gavest them Me; and they have kept Thy word. 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which Thou hast given Me; for they are Thine. 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their word;

Nor did Jesus stop forgiving Peter:

John 21:16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou Me? He saith unto Him, Yea, Lord; Thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed My sheep.

Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

None of which negates the fact that fallen human nature is satanic because it does not have the things of God.

Revelation 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. 3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

The works either became just going through the motions, or they interfered with the doctrine of salvation (which Ephesians 2:9 clearly forbids).

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in Heaven. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these words of Mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon the rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon the rock.
7:26 And every one that heareth these words of Mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Hearing but not believing...

James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

People love to jerk this verse out of its context. In the context of all of scripture (John 3:16-18 / Ephesians 2:8-10 / John 6:28-29 / John 16:27 / Acts 16:31 / Hebrews 11:1-40), James is referring to the evidence of having actual faith versus a said faith (James 2:12 / James 2:14).

James is pointing out that someone having the Spirit of God in their bodies produces evidence of such (Ephesians 2:10 ← which I have quoted many times).

Works cannot save you (Ephesians 2:9). Salvation produces "good works" (Ephesians 2:10 / James 2:8-26) in the context of verses James 2:8-12 which points out the futility of salvation by works (under the Law of Moses). James says that breaking the Law at any one point is to be guilty of it all.

He also cites that faith is the engine of the evidences in the lives of Abraham while making the point that Abraham BELIEVED God and IT was credited to him as righteousness... .

Neither is James saying works are required to remain saved.

Ripping texts out of context only produces pretexts!

Man tries to pit one scripture against another. The Spirit shows us the amalgamation of God's Word to teach us the true meaning of scripture in context as God intended.

2 Peter 1:20-21 / 1 John 4:1 / Acts 17:11 The keys to the Kingdom.

Oh, btw, James 2 also says the demons believe there is one God and tremble.
  1. belief in Jesus is what produces salvation for man (not monotheism)
  2. demons have no kinsman redeemer
  3. demons are already in their infinite state and cannot be redeemed as man (who can die) can

Jeremiah 31:31–37 (AV)
31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

Romans 11:1–32 (AV)
1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded
8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear unto this day.
9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.
11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.
15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

Romans 2 (AV)
1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another
16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
17 Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,
18 And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;
19 And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,
20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?
24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Jew / Judah = Praise

Genesis 29:35 (AV)
35 And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the LORD: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing.

So Romans 2:29 concludes:
"he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God"

whose Jewishness or Jewish reckoning is not of men but of God.

Galatians 6:16 (AV)
16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

There is a physical Israel (everyone born Jewish).

There is a Spirit Israel (everyone born again in Messiah Jesus).

Ephesians 2 (AV)
11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Galatians 3:24–28 (AV)
24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Revelation 3:12 (AV)
12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
  1. the name of my God
  2. the name of the city of my God
  3. my new name

John 17 (AV)
1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

The Father is is not YHVH / Jehovah / the LORD of the Old Testament (John 17:25 above, also John 15:21b).

Jesus (preincarnate) is YHVH / Jehovah / the LORD of the Old Testament. Verify John 8:58 / Exodus 3:14-15.

The Father is as much a mystery in the Old Testament as the incarnation of Jesus is.

So what is his name? The name of the Father / the God of Jesus?

Footnote: God the Father and God the Word are equal in every aspect (as is the Holy Spirit). God the Word became flesh (body made by the Father [Hebrews 10:5 / Hebrews 1:5] which is his only creation of the Father [John 1:14b] ). And speaking as a man (1 Timothy 2:15) the Father is God to Jesus.

Bear also in mind the Father himself affirms the deity of the Son:

Hebrews 1:8 (AV)
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Also further proof that 2 Samuel 7:12-13 was referring to a distant heir of King David to build God's Temple (see also Zechariah 6:12-13) that it meant Jesus (whose throne is forever and ever) would be the builder of God's Temple (the Church see 1 Corinthians 3:16 / Matthew 16:18b). ←note also the lake of the stone temple in Hebrews 8:5

Ezekiel 48:35 (AV)
35 It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.

YHVH Shammah

Galatians 4:21–31 (AV)
21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

Jerusalem / Yerushalayim which now is

Jerusalem above / Yerushalayim Aliyah

Revelation 21 (AV)
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

John 1:1–2 (AV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.

John 1:14 (AV)
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Matthew 1:21 (AV)
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Matthew 1:25 (AV)
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Philippians 2:10 (AV)
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

To sum up, this appears under-whelming showing the names we already know... but these cover all the bases biblically.

  1. the name of my God (God the Father of Jesus)
  2. the name of the city of my God (Jerusalem Above / New Jerusalem / He is there
  3. my new name (Jesus)
Jesus' old name was YHVH (the LORD) the Great I AM. And it still is his name in part:

Jesus = Isous (Latin) Yeshua (Hebrew) shortened from Yehoshua (YHVH Saves) ← interesting that Joshua's name is a translational form Yehoshua (which was originally only Hoshea but Moses added YAH to it).

There is another name of Jesus to consider. One I stumbled across while witnessing to a Jewish Rabbi... or more factually, one the Holy Spirit showed me while witnessing to said Rabbi...

The suffering servant (Isaiah 52:13-53:12) the Jews have argued for some time now is Israel (based on Isaiah 44:1 / Isaiah 44:21 / Isaiah 49:3). And the usual rebuttal is the language in Isaiah 52:13-53:12 is about an individual. It's true, but there is yet another point to be made here:

Israel was on at least one occasion a man (Jacob). But the prophecy in Isaiah was written hundreds of years (if not thousands of years) after Jacob died.

Another man named Israel is being spoken of here. The name itself is a contraction of three words He Prince God (Yish Sarar Elohiym = Yisra'el). And the Ultimate Prince of God is none other than the Messiah.

  1. Israel (El being the Hebrew word for God)
  2. Jerusalem (is in Israel)
  3. Israel (the name of the Ultimate Prince of God Jesus)
Israel of God = the Church (Galatians 6:16).

God bless.

The everlasting covenant never ended and it never will. Or forever has no meaning.

Jeremiah 27:5 the everlasting covenant shall not be forgotten
Jeremias 38:30 every one shall die in his own sin
Jeremiah 39:39-40 And I will give them another way, and another heart
Hosea 1:19 And I will betroth thee to Myself for ever

In the Gospels of Matthew and John, only those who are drawn to the Father come to Jesus. How are we drawn to the Father? By the order in His creation, and by the Laws which maintain that order. This is the world that the Father sent His Son to save.

When Jeremiah says I will give them "another heart", God means that the Law written on our heart is the Holy Spirit, causing us to remember what Jesus taught us about the nature of the Father's Law, and teaching us what it all means.

The "another way" is the easy yoke of Jesus... Matthew 5--Matthew 7... the Sermon on the Mount... at the end of which we are told that we must not only hear what Jesus says, but do what He says... for this is the real meaning of belief.

Jesus says those He loves He rebukes, so be earnest and repent. Those who are never rebuked are not loved by God. And the reason for God rebuking us is the purging... the cleaning of the branches of the vine... removing from each of us what doesn't belong.

It is summed up in 1 Cor 15:1-4, but throughout Romans and other of Paul's epistles, the gospel that saves us now is explained fully.

You have no foundation at all without the witnesses to the events.
Isn't all of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and 1 Corinthians 15:5-8 the gentile's gospel?

15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
15:4 And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
15:5 And that He was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
15:6 After that, He was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
15:7 After that, He was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
15:8 And last of all He was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

None of which negates the fact that fallen human nature is satanic because it does not have the things of God.

Where in the Gospels of Matthew and John does Jesus say "fallen human nature"?

Or even hint that mankind is satanic? The people who were the sons of the devil were trying to kill Him... they earned the title. Are you one of those people who think babies are born with horns and a tail?

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Israel of God = the Church (Galatians 6:16).

Matthew 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into [any] city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Matthew 15:22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
15:23 But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and besought Him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. 15:24 But He answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
15:25 Then came she and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, help me.
15:26 But He answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast [it] to dogs.
15:27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great [is] thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Matthew 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
28:17 And when they saw Him, they worshipped Him: but some doubted.
28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.
28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.
