Revelation 3:12 (AV)
12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
- the name of my God
- the name of the city of my God
- my new name

John 17 (AV)
1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
6
I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and
they have kept thy word.
7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
8 For
I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and
they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep
through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 While I was with them in the world,
I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25
O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 And
I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
The Father is is not YHVH / Jehovah / the LORD of the Old Testament (John 17:25 above, also John 15:21b).
Jesus (preincarnate) is YHVH / Jehovah / the LORD of the Old Testament. Verify John 8:58 / Exodus 3:14-15.
The Father is as much a mystery in the Old Testament as the incarnation of Jesus is.
So what is his name? The name of the Father / the God of Jesus?
Footnote: God the Father and God the Word are equal in every aspect (as is the Holy Spirit). God the Word became flesh (body made by the Father [Hebrews 10:5 / Hebrews 1:5] which is his only creation of the Father [John 1:14b] ). And speaking as a man (1 Timothy 2:15) the Father is God to Jesus.
Bear also in mind the Father himself affirms the deity of the Son:
Hebrews 1:8 (AV)
8 But
unto the Son he saith, Thy throne,
O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
Also further proof that 2 Samuel 7:12-13 was referring to a distant heir of King David to build God's Temple (see also Zechariah 6:12-13) that it meant Jesus (whose throne is forever and ever) would be the builder of God's Temple (the Church see 1 Corinthians 3:16 / Matthew 16:18b). ←note also the lake of the stone temple in Hebrews 8:5

Ezekiel 48:35 (AV)
35 It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.
YHVH Shammah
Galatians 4:21–31 (AV)
21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth
to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26 But
Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

Revelation 21 (AV)
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

John 1:1–2 (AV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
John 1:14 (AV)
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Matthew 1:21 (AV)
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and
thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Matthew 1:25 (AV)
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and
he called his name JESUS.
Philippians 2:10 (AV)
10 That
at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
To sum up, this appears under-whelming showing the names we already know... but these cover all the bases biblically.
- the name of my God (God the Father of Jesus)
- the name of the city of my God (Jerusalem Above / New Jerusalem / He is there
- my new name (Jesus)
Jesus' old name was YHVH (the LORD) the Great I AM. And it still is his name in part:
Jesus = Isous (Latin) Yeshua (Hebrew) shortened from Yehoshua (YHVH Saves) ← interesting that Joshua's name is a translational form Yehoshua (which was originally only Hoshea but Moses added YAH to it).
There is another name of Jesus to consider. One I stumbled across while witnessing to a Jewish Rabbi... or more factually, one the Holy Spirit showed me while witnessing to said Rabbi...
The suffering servant (Isaiah 52:13-53:12) the Jews have argued for some time now is Israel (based on Isaiah 44:1 / Isaiah 44:21 / Isaiah 49:3). And the usual rebuttal is the language in Isaiah 52:13-53:12 is about an individual. It's true, but there is yet another point to be made here:
Israel was on at least one occasion a man (Jacob). But the prophecy in Isaiah was written hundreds of years (if not thousands of years) after Jacob died.
Another man named Israel is being spoken of here. The name itself is a contraction of three words He Prince God (Yish Sarar Elohiym = Yisra'el). And the Ultimate Prince of God is none other than the Messiah.
- Israel (El being the Hebrew word for God)
- Jerusalem (is in Israel)
- Israel (the name of the Ultimate Prince of God Jesus)
Israel of God = the Church (Galatians 6:16).
