I agree, and I understand. And I agree that this man’s behavior was ridiculous and stupid.

But as this keeps going, as cities go back into lockdown in some cases, as employers force vaccination on people, as worship is once again banned in some places, and as the media keeps saying or promising one thing then walking it back a week later, we’re going to see more frustrated, angry, fed-up people like this guy, hopefully not taking it out on some innocent Dairy Queen workers, but still.

Yeah, folks like this did not need an excuse. IMO, the mask mandate had little if anything to do with it. He was already unstable.

Well, if this virus was lab engineered, and with the speed it mutates (Delta, etc.) herd immunity may not not even be a factor. Depending on the cycles of mutation, a person will not become sick, recover, then possess antibodies to fight of the next round. The next round will only be fatal to them.
The only thing that will defeat this virus is vaccination.

I am not sure about that. That is what we thought a few months ago. Not anymore. I suspect this thing will just keep going and going, leaping around everything we throw at it, and mutating yet again every time we’ve supposedly defeated it. Please pray for the future of social and religious freedom. I strongly feel that this virus will be / is being used as an excuse to cleverly clamp down on both.

From what I have seen it was probably not man made. Those that make this claim are generally not the most reliable sources and they seem to base their findings on distortions of scientific papers.

By the way, vaccinations do give protection against variants so far. One can still get ill, but the illness appears to be far less severe with those that are vaccinated and the odds of death drop greatly. One can check for that with hospital records. The unvaccinated are still dying. It is rather rare when a vaccinated person dies, even though they are a significant percentage of the population.
