Bible Highlighter: "The gospel is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. It is believing that Jesus died for our sins, He was buried, and He was risen three days later (for our salvation). That's the gospel. It's nothing more than that."

There is more in that chapter to believe, of all the Apostles are witnessing, and how a fool is unaware that there is no quickening ( of Christ and us as we are quickened together) without us first being dead/ to die, which is spoken for all those who have not this knowledge of God ( knowledge of the Holy is understanding) which is awaking to righteousness and sin not..

1 Corinthians 15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

Bible Highlighter: "we need to move on into the Sanctification Process (which is the next step in God's plan of salvation) (i.e. to live holy by God's power). How so? Well, again: 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 says that God has chosen us to salvation by the Sanctification of the Spirit, and a belief of the truth (faith), which is a call of the gospel. In other words, the gospel calls us. Imagine an old phone ringing on your table that says, “the gospel.”

Reading again 2 Thessalonians 2, how God chooses us from the BEGINNING, through sanctification of the Spirit, and belief of the truth ( need the Spirit of Christ/ of truth, in us to believe in the truth) which is called by that Gospel of Christ ( sanctified for us for us to believe the truth John 17:19)..

2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In that same train, of thought, we see how soon God sanctified the prophets such as Jeremiah here, which was also ( from the beginning) before they came out of the womb ( remember the wicked are astray from the womb? Which you dispute against Bible Highlighter but are rebuked of course)

Psalm 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Next, before the Son of man is sent into the world, He is sanctified of the Father, and Jesus sends His sheep into the world to be harmless as doves ( holy in harmlessness, as the high priest became US..

Hebrews 7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

John 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

Then more is given for us to understand, turning us from darkness to light, that is from the power of satan to the power of God, santified by faith in Christ..

Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Then the wrong believing/wrong doing ones, are washed ( clean through the word spoken to them and cleaned of all unrighteousness( 1 John 1, justified in the name of the Lord Jesus( by the Spirit of Christ in them and made one with the Father and the Son ) which is sanctified..

John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you

1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Then the vessel is to honour, sanctified, in every good work and enabled for God's use ( God dwells in us and if His temple is defiled it is destroyed)..

1 Corinthians 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

2 Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

Jesus gave the way ( the narrow narrow one) and this is it, He is us who is the Father and the Son and we together perfect in one, as God sanctifies us by being in us and we are one together ( as he that is joined to the Lord is one Spirit)

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Hebrews 2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

We are sanctified through the offering of the body of Christ, and by that one offering we are perfected forever as that is being sanctified..

Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Repeated again for you, from the beginning chosen to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit, this is elect according to that foreknowledge of God ( from the beginning in us) through sanctification of the Spirit, obedience, and that sprinkling of the blood of Christ, to be chosen in Him before the foundation of the world, to be holy and without blame before Him in love ( which is the sanctification, it is the belief given and it is Christ in us which is the Spirit of God sanctified in us and we through Him in us)..

2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

1 Peter 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Bible Highlighter: "Romans 8:13 also teaches Sanctification is a part of our salvation.

“For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.” (Romans 8:13).

Important Note:

Again, this is after we are first initially saved by God’s grace of course."

Sanctification IS our salvation, the Spirit is what comes to us when dead to sins, dead and buried in baptism with Christ, to be raised up together with Him ( cant be wanctified while dead only when made alive)..

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Colossians 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

Naturally a person understands Christ is sanctified ,( for He is God) but in the mystery of godliness, God is justified in the Spirit , for our sakes He justifies/sanctifies Himself ( remember the Father sanctified the Son and sent Him into the world) but for us to believe in the truth ( of God) we see the Son of God preached on into the world, believed ( by us) then received back up into the glory He had with the Father before the world was.

This is the revelation of the mystery, made manifest by the scriptures, ( fulfilled in Christ) for the obedience of faith ( sanctification as seen in Christ) and Christs rising up from the dead is the perfection and is the sanctification, when God is sanctified in our eyes ( by His raising from the dead to raise us up with Him from the death) and then the sufferings of Christ are ours to follow ., not a process, as all is ONE ( and narrow way)..

John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

Colossians 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Romans 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Hebrews 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

Ezekiel 36:23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

1 Peter 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Of course I understand how people are when they do not respond, it is why I am on this forum for a little time to show what the narrow path was, and why many somehow think their wide path is a narrow one:

Proverbs 21:28 A false witness shall perish: but the man that heareth speaketh constantly.
29 A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he directeth his way.
30 There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the Lord.
31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the Lord.

Isaiah 62:6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,

To all:

Grace, peace, and love to you all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The narrow way that Jesus talks about is in Matthew 7.

Jesus said in context that we shall know false prophets by their fruit (i.e. deeds).
For not everyone who says unto me, Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of Heaven.

Many believers will say they did wonderful works in His name but Jesus will tell them to depart from Him because they also worked iniquity (or sin).

“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast outdevils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
(Matthew 7:22-23).

We see with the church of Ephesus that they did works, and they labored, and they could not bear them that are evil, and they tried them to see if they were apostles and found them out to be liars. But the problem with the church of Ephesus is that they left their first love themselves even though they labored and did works. They were told to repent and do the first works.

“I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.” (Revelation 2:2-6).

In other words, a person can labor and work, but if there is no love for others than how can they love God?

7 “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.” (1 John 4:7-12).

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” (Matthew 5:43-48).

So what avails, or what profits, or benefits us is faith that works by love.

“…faith which worketh by love.” (Galatians 5:6).

Are you speaking in a way that others think are loving? Are you praying for those you think are your enemies? Are you doing good towards your enemies? Are you loving the brethren, are you using a beating stick upon them whereby you beat them with your words at every turn (in always trying to be right in your own eyes)? These are truths we should always test ourselves with. We need to love others or we do not know God and His love.

“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” (John 13:35).

Remember everyone, we are condemned or justified by our words/testimony.

BibleHighlighter names this as speaking in an unloving way, non praying for them too, lack of good towards them, and being beaten by words at every debate they have together, ( and pronounces this as self righteousness) and that this is his truths.

All based upon Matthew 7, of the good or bad fruit, and then a parable ( as that is what this is in Matthew 7:21-23, and then another Parable of the same meaning from verses 24 to the end of the chapter.

Bible Highlighter also states this is the same situation as with the rebuke to the Ephesian church ( to the angel of the church) leavng their "first" love and then the "first " works were not done..

BibleHighlighter: "But the problem with the church of Ephesus is that they left their first love themselves even though they labored and did works. They were told to repent and do the first works."

BibleHighlighter: "Many believers will say they did wonderful works in His name"

Right, first we need to know exactly, what these "wonderful" works are, and a quick search reveals as in Acts 2:11, and Mark 16:17-18 confirming, they are the signs that God sent to take place, of the new tongues, casting out devils, and the prophesying in his name, and the young men shall see visions and your sins and daughters shall prophesy, these were all signs, that is what they were as told, these SIGNS FOLLOW..

Acts 2:11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

1 Corinthians 14:22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

Now we already know what the many wonderful works are here in Matthew 7, as it is a parable, and now it is revealed, this was/is, the prophesying, the casting out of devils, and the speaking on tongues, the wonderful works of God as in Acts 2:17 above.

Nothing was intended of them doing good, and doing iniquity at the same time, as Jesus told above, that the evil tree cant produce any good fruit..

Matthew 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 7:24, continues into the same Kingdom of Heaven parable, to hear the sayings of Jesus and to do them, the same as Matthew 25, witnesses, how when the people who claim belief in Christ, fail to have compassion to anyone, they also failed to help Jesus ( as when on the cross)..

Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Matthew 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Matthew 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Now we see what saying Lord Lord means, without the will of the Father, it is more than doing the wonderful works of God's signs, it is also not producing evil fruit, not doing iniquity, and also it is helping with compassion all who you are able to help.

That again supports the words how, the ones who do the will of the Father, enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, and of course we know the will of the Father, Matthew 12:50, and Luke 8:21, together show, the doing of the will of the Father, are those who hear the word of God and do it..

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Luke 8:21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

Acts 2:11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

More on the will of God for us is told of course, these are the commandments of the Lord Jesus, our sanctification, no fornication, but to be in honour and sanctification ( not a process but to put on Christ/charity, the bond of perfectness, or nothing is put on) and not in lust as the ones who know not God, no defrauding of your brother, or the Lord is then the avenger of yourself..

1 Thessalonians 4:2 For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:
6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

BibleHighlighter: "In other words, a person can labor and work, but if there is no love for others than how can they love God?"

BibleHighlighter also has stated his opinion that loving others, also is occasionally stumbling and sinning ( against them) which also happens to be against scripture, as it is testified we have no occasion of stumbling in us, but does not seem to want to speak about that right now...

1 John 2:10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

Looking now at Revelation and Gods rebukes for the angels of the churches, the first love and first works that are undone, ( as Jesus says to them do the first works) need to be understood what this is.

In the Gospel, Jesus already disputing with the similar failing Pharisees, and scribes, highlighted how the Pharisees do tithes and the scribes make long prayers, but they do not do the judgement, and the love of God..

Luke 11:42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Mark 12:40 Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.

That is also why the Pharisees and scribes, and all Gentiles who have left their first love, have also failed, we love God because it is He that first loved us, God is the first love..

1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.

Now the message is understood from every side, how the Ephesians, like the Phaisees, and scribe, do nothing of Gods judgement, and as in Matthew 23:23 again, the more important matters of the law which are MERCY, SO THE EPHESIANS ARE LACKING MERCY....

Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Revelation 2:3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Revelations 3:16-19, presents further understanding, this time God who is the first love, who first loved us, says, as many as He loves ( as He first loved us and is the first love) rebukes us and chastens ( speaking hard rebuke which IS LOVE) to understand we must be hot, not cold or lukewarm..

Revelation 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

BibleHighlighter: "Are you speaking in a way that others think are loving? Are you praying for those you think are your enemies? Are you doing good towards your enemies? Are you loving the brethren, are you using a beating stick upon them whereby you beat them with your words at every turn (in always trying to be right in your own eyes)? These are truths we should always test ourselves with. We need to love others or we do not know God and His love."

Here is the final rebuke, to put on bowels of mercies, ( put on Christ) which is humbleness of mind ( the mind of Christ) because by mercies you stand and not the message of BibleHighlighter that the people did well and bad at the same time?

Elect for mercies, the merciful obtain mercy, go and do likewise to the one who showed mercy..

Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Luke 10:37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Now we can speak about the mercyseat some more, how God does judgement without mercy on those who showed no mercy, and how mercy rejoices over this judgement, as the wisdom from above is full of mercy and good fruits ( no evil fruits can be produced by the good tree) and we see the end of the Lord is of tender mercy, so we understand God in mercy and we be merciful to know God..

Hebrews 9:5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.

James 2:13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

James 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

Mercy and truth and judgement are what Jesus went in, to us, but the bad ones remember not to show mercy, ( their love is in word not deed and then truth) and the despisers who do not rebuke their neighbour hate them and sin, but the merciful to the poor, rebuke them, to not let sin be upon them ( so they die in sins)

1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

Psalm 89:14 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

Psalm 109:16 Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.

Proverbs 14:21 He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.

Leviticus 19:17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

We honour God when we have mercy on the poor, and by mercy and truth ( of Christ and His mercy in us) iniquity is purged and by that fear of the Lord Spirit in us, we depart from all evil, to follow after righteousness( no unrighteousness) and mercy to find this life ( Jesus Christ is this eternal life and mercy) righteousness and honour..

Proverbs 14:31 He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.

Proverbs 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil.

Proverbs 21:21 He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.

The throne of Christ established in mercy, in truth, judging and seeking judgement for us by giving righteousness ( into us) and the sins are broken off by righteousness and our iniquities by shwing this mercy to the poor ( in spirit)

Isaiah 16:5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
as God desired mercy, and not what the Pharisees, scribes and the many seeking to enter only offer, as the good is to do justly, and to love mercy and to walk humble with your God ( at His footstool) to execute the true judgement ( of Christ) showing His meercy and compassion every man to your brother..

Daniel 4:27 Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.

Hosea 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Zechariah 7:9 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

Then the open rebuke is better than secret love, the kisses of your enemy are deceitful, they speak peace to their neighbours but mischief is in their heart, words spoken softer than butter, but war is in their heart, the righteous smite and reprove you, it is a kindness that does not break your head, not showiung much love with your mouth, but doing the words that are love, instead of defending your covetousness, of men crept in who turn the grace and mercy of God into lust and sin, who also try to show the rebuke as incorrect against them but fail as God predicted all for this purpose..

Proverbs 27:5 Open rebuke is better than secret love.

Proverbs 27:6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

Psalm 28:3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

Psalm 55:21 The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

Psalm 141:5 Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

Ezekiel 33:31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

To all:

I believe some people want to uplift themselves by attacking others by making up things that they never stated they believed. Some folks have suggested that I believe that we can do bad and good at the same time. Is this true? No. This is a false accusation of something I do not believe, nor is it something I ever stated. I believe we as believers must overcome “death sins(or sins that lead to the second death or hell fire) in this life, otherwise we are not going to make it into the Kingdom (Example of “death sins” would be: murder, hate, adultery, idolatry, theft, drunkenness, lying, etc.). Believers must change their conduct, and live holy lives. For without holiness, no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). I believe Sanctification is a part of salvation, which is a call of the gospel (2 Thessalonians 2:13-14). But Sanctification comes after we are initially saved by God's grace (which of course includes the gospel mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4). The apostle John says to “sin not” but if we do happen to, we have an advocate that we can go to named Jesus Christ.

“My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:” (1 John 2:1).

“For if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9).

Even king David needed to confess of his sins to be forgiven of sin, and he had the Holy Spirit.

Sin is the transgression of the law, there are sins that transgress the law and then there are some who do not transgress the commandments of Christ and others who do, showing all sins are what breaks the commandments of Christ...

1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

1 John 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

Then all that fulfils and does not transgress the law of Christ, is what is not sinning ( or death sins if you prefer)

Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ

Galatians 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Then Romans 13, explains it all exactly, no need to guess, or privately interprete is there ?

To love another fulfils the law, to not do adultery, to not kill, to not steal, to not lie, to not covet, and to always love your neighbour as yourself, as love works no ill to your neighbour ( or yourself) as all men nourish and CHERISH their own flesh, which is the example and commandment for us towards others, to be the same as Christ to the church...

Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Ephesians 5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

Salvation is through sanctification, of the Spirit, the Spirit of truth, to believe in the truth. The Spirit of truth comes to us, and dwells in us, teaching us all things, or we know and believe nothing, Christ came to them...

2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Then the old man s put off, not a circumcision that is a process over time but it is a circumcision of Christ that is either done or never was done, then renewed in the Spirit of their mind, after God is created in righteousness and true holiness the Spirit of truth comes to dwell in them one together perfected forever in Gods love) then lying is gone as the Spirit of truth ( in man) cant lie..

Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

BibleHighlighter: "Even king David needed to confess of his sins to be forgiven of sin, and he had the Holy Spirit."

Those without us not made perfect...

Hebrews 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

Yes, sinning and being repeatedly cleansed of all unrighteousness.

It does need us to look at your verse example more, seeing as it is an only one, along with confusion of Romans 7 for some people.

Here are all the verses associated with 1 John, the whole chapter, and notice first in the Gospel, our eye has to not be double, but single, for our body to be full of light, otherwise our body is full of darkness, and when our whole body is full of light, there is no part dark in us..

Luke 11:34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

That is when we were servants of sin, and what we did ( the sins) we are now ashamed of, as we did no righteousness whatsoever, and when made free from that unrighteousness ( cleansed of all unrighteousness) they are free from any unrighteousness( sin) they are now ashamed of in what they did..

Romans 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Christ then confirms them blameless to the end, coming behind in no gift, of long suffering, kindness, mercy, as that is being called unto the fellowship of the Son of God Jesus Christ our Lord..

1 Corinthians 1:6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

We cant have fellowship with devils, cannot be partaker of the Lords table, and at the same time of the table of devils/fellowship with devils..

1 Corinthians 10:20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

So we are to awake to righteousness and sin not, otherwise it is spoken to our shame ( as they would now be ashamed of the things they once did)..

1 Corinthians 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Righteousness has no fellowship with unrighteousness, the same as light has no communion with darkness..

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Then remembering we do not come behind in any gift of the fruits of the Spirit to fellowship with the Son, we have no fellowship with those in the unfruitful works of darkness ( sins) they are reproved by Gods word, because it is a shame to speak of those things they still allow themselves to do in secret. But what is made manifest by the light is reproved, only darkness remaining in anyone is when they are not reproved..

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

The power of the resurrection of Christ, and the fellowship of His sufferings, makes us conformable to His death, dead to sin..

Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Romans 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Romans 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Quickened from the time past, of the spirit of the fellowship of the devils, in disobedience, when we lived in lusts, and those sins..

Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Dead in sins and the uncircumcision of our flesh, then quickened together with Him to be forgiven all our tresspasses, to be circumcised by the circumcision of Christ, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, for we are the circumcision who worship God in the Spirit, and have nothing in the flesh, and the uncircumcision keeps the righteousness of the law, to count him circumcision..

Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

Colossians 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Romans 2:26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?

Now, 1 John 1 time, declared to us, so we have fellowship with the Apostles, who have fellowship with the Father, and the message declared is, God who is light, does not have fellowship with anyone who walks in darkness, ( it is with the devils darkness and in fellowship with devils and unfruitful works of shameful darkness)

We then walk in the light as God is in the light, to have fellowship with one another ( not in darkness by hating your brother, and when you love your brother with Gods love and light shining in you you have no occasion of darkness/stumbling, now the devils darkness is past)

Then the blood of Christ cleanses us of all sin, then we do not deceive ourselves but confess those sin and darkness/unrighteousness that was still there, for Christ to be just to forgive those sins and clean us of all the unrighteousness we are called to not fellowship in any more..

1 John 2:8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

1 John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The deceitfulness of sin will harden their hearts, they will say you cant stop sinning, based on one verse, and somehow think they did well to ignore the rest of the chapter?

But, they should TAKE HEED, as a light that shines in their dark place, until the day dawn and the day star arise in the hearts..

Hebrews 3: 12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

2 Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

When anyone then comes to know Christ, to be born of God, they change, nothing that is old remains, or how is it new, here is the testimony of how we are dead to sins and alive to righteousness, we bear in our body always the dying of the Lord Jesus ( being dead to sins) to manifest the life of Jesus through our flesh by being alive to His righteousness..

2 Corinthians 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

Unfortunately for BibleHighlighter, there are no verses in the scriptures showing man knowing God and yet sinning, they show another way always..

1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he ABIDETH IN HIM ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

1 John 3:6 Whosoever ABIDETH IN HIM SINNETH NOT: whosoever SINNETH HATH NOT SEEN HIM, NEITHER KNOWN HIM.

2 John 1:9 WHOSOEVER TRANSGRESSETH AND ABIDETH NOT IN THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST, hath not God. HE THAT ABIDETH IN THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST, he hath both the Father and the Son.

3 John 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but HE THAT DOETH EVIL HATH NOT SEEN GOD.

BibleHighlighter: " To all:

Again, some will say that I believe that a Christian can sin and say they know God.
That is yet again a false accusation on their part."

What did Jesus defend, and the Apostles of the Lord, what does Christianity defend, and what is that narrow path ?

Is it not predicted to be love for your neighbour, for your brother, the same as Jesus of course, as no other way is love, sincerely and without discussion, as love is in deed and truth and not in word.

But, sadly, we have this on us, men are now lovers of their own selves, so who do they defend, Christ and the Gospel or themselves, by their strife, or envy, or whatever it is they think they should feel for themselves..

Philippians 1:15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Of course sanctification is necessary. It comes with salvation, it is not what saves someone.”. Quote by: ~ FredVB.

So you are saying that Sanctification does not save anyone.

The gospel is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. It is believing that Jesus died for our sins, He was buried, and He was risen three days later (for our salvation). That's the gospel. It's nothing more than that.

A person first needs to be saved by God's grace through faith. For without His grace, we would all be doomed. Our past slate of sin needs to be wiped out. This can only be done by seeking forgiveness with Jesus and by believing that Jesus died for our sins, He was buried, and He was risen three days later on our behalf for salvation (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

However, after we are saved by God's grace (Which will include the gospel), we need to move on into the Sanctification Process (which is the next step in God's plan of salvation) (i.e. to live holy by God's power). How so? Well, again: 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 says that God has chosen us to salvation by the Sanctification of the Spirit, and a belief of the truth (faith), which is a call of the gospel. In other words, the gospel calls us. Imagine an old phone ringing on your table that says, “the gospel.”

full

You pick up the phone...

full

and you hear a voice on the end of the other line says, “God has chosen us to salvation through Sanctification of the Spirit and a belief in the truth.”

Here again is the verse:

“...God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through
sanctification of the Spirit
and belief of the truth:
Whereunto he called you by our gospel,...” (2 Thessalonians 2:13-14).
This verse says plainly that God has chosen us to salvation through Sanctification of the Spirit.
So salvation continues with the Sanctification of the Spirit (living holy by God’s power), and a belief of the truth (Continuing to believe God’s Word, i.e. the Holy Bible).

The question is: Will people pick up the phone and heed the call of the gospel?
The gospel is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, but it calls us to do things like continuing in God's plan of salvation through the “sanctification of the Spirit” (living holy by God's power), and a belief of the truth (i.e. continuing to believe in His Word). Sadly, most will not heed this call of the gospel in 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14. So Matthew 13:41-42 is what will then happen.

Sanctification does not save any of us, the work of God for us saves us, and we are told it happens with our repentance with faith, that still isn't just believing, with coming to Christ and through Christ being restored to God, with that being sealed with the Spirit of God for that. Sanctification is from God when those things happen, with growth we have. Understanding all these things is not needed for salvation though and some can get so focused on details unnecessarily. We should be responsive to grow, and that can happen more than it does.

Romans 8:13 also teaches Sanctification is a part of our salvation.

“For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.” (Romans 8:13).

Important Note:

Again, this is after we are first initially saved by God’s grace of course.

Sanctification is a part of it. Sanctification is just not the salvation itself. We might come to godliness more than has already happened, we can seek God's will further and not dismiss what others might say that might help for that.

I am still not following your point to share all this. Specifically where do you think I disagree with any of it?

You said, I quote:

“Sanctification does not save any of us,”
~ Quote by FredVB.

Yet, I posted verses that say otherwise.

Just read 2 Thessalonians 2:13. It says,

2 Thes. 2:13
“…God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:”

In short, the part of this verse contradicts what you stated because it says God has chosen us to salvation through Sanctification of the Spirit (Which aligns with Romans 8:13 and Galatians 6:8-9). Then again, most Christians I encounter repeat the same things you said without realizing that they are violating tons of verses in their own Bible.

It says believers are chosen to be saved through sanctification, it does not say through sanctification exclusively, if it did say that it would exclude Christ, and be a contradiction. Of course it does not mean to exclude Christ, or exclude anything. God works the salvation, God's Spirit is involved, and any, who God is not willing to let perish, can come to Christ with repentant faith to be restored to God, with sanctification involved, but that is not sanctification by itself without these other things. Sanctification is a process, starting along with salvation when one comes to Christ with the repentant faith, and then with all this there should be growth toward godliness, it is not all the same rate which can be seen, some growing to godliness faster and some not. It is turning from sins more yet, when those are recognized, and showing works that correspond to the fruits of the Spirit of God. It is growth that should happen even after any backsliding. More would need to be revealed to us, for this growth, as we do not come to a point where we know it all to be sure we are not ever sinning again. We have to remain responsive to God for that.

It says believers are chosen to be saved through sanctification, it does not say through sanctification exclusively, if it did say that it would exclude Christ, and be a contradiction. Of course it does not mean to exclude Christ, or exclude anything. God works the salvation,
It’s co-operation. God does not force a believer against their free will.
We are told in the Bible to continue in the faith (Acts 14:22), continue in God’s grace (Acts 13:43), and to keep ourselves in the love of God (Jude 1:21). So it’s not all God forcing you to live a sanctified life, and neither is it all yourself, either.
It’s synergistic. Believers need to rely on both God‘s power to live holy, and also take action themselves to live that sanctified life.

Amos 3:3 says,
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

The reason you disagreed is because you don’t believe the Bible’s true teaching on Sanctification.
The Bible teaches that without holiness, no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

2 Corinthians 7:1 says,
”Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

Do you believe you are to cleanse yourself from ALL filthiness of the flesh and spirit perfecting holiness in the FEAR of God?
My guess is that you do not believe that. You most likely do not believe you can be cleansed from ALL filthiness of the flesh and spirit. You also do not believe the word “fear” in this verse and you take it to mean as not being afraid of God.

I say this because you repeat the false lie of OSAS or Once Saved Always Saved (Which is an extremely unbiblical belief).

Anyways, we also see an example of synergism in this passage below.

Philippians 2:12-13
”Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”

Notice that in verse 13 God does work in us to do of His good will and pleasure, but verse 12 says that we also have obeyed (our part) and we are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. FEAR. It says fear and trembling. This means one is afraid of God because trembling goes with fear. But again, I don’t think this will convince you because you want that comforting security blanket that you do not have to truly worry about living holy in this life and yet you can still be saved despite you living holy. Hebrews 12:14 says without holiness, no man shall see the Lord. But if you are Once Saved Always Saved, then you can sin and still be saved on some level and that runs contrary to living a holy life and involves breaking God’s commands. Jesus said if you love me, keep my commandments. People who do not love Jesus are not going to be with Him in His kingdom.

God's Spirit is involved, and any, who God is not willing to let perish, can come to Christ with repentant faith to be restored to God, with sanctification involved, but that is not sanctification by itself without these other things.
This sounds like some pie in the sky hope that one will at some point live holy but it will simply never happen if one lives the OSAS lie. One needs to actually believe the Bible’s teaching on Conditional Salvation before one can have any hope to live a holy life. If not, then one is going to turn God’s grace into a license to sin automatically. In the Parable of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11-32, when the prodigal son came home and sought forgiveness with his father, we learn that that the father said that his son was “dead” and he is “alive AGAIN.” This parable is speaking in spiritual terms. The son was dead spiritually when he was living it up with prostitutes, and then he became alive AGAIN spiritually when he came back home and sought forgiveness with his father (Which is a parallel of how we should seek forgiveness with our everlasting father, i.e., Jesus Christ). Meaning, a believer can go from a saved state, to a lost state, and back to being saved again. James 5:19-20 teaches the same truth.

James 5:19-20
”Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.”

In other words, if any of the brothers in Christ errs or strays away from the truth (by going into a life of sin like the prodigal son did), and another faithful believer (who is living holy) converts him (i.e., gets them to confess of their sins to Jesus and live holy again), they should know that they have converted this sinner (sinning believer) from the error of their ways and they have helped to save a soul from death and hide a multitude of sins. This is the most plainest and child like readings of these texts above. To suggest some other oddball reading to try and defend OSAS would be a gross interpretation that does not fit the normal and natural reading of these verses.

But the point here is that you do have to live holy and it requires effort on your part along with God working in you as a part of Sanctification. It’s not just a belief in Jesus that saves. One actually has to obey God‘s commands or live holy to be saved after they are saved by God’s grace. Hebrews 12:14 says without holiness, no man shall see the Lord. In other words, if a believer were to die in a state of living in sin that God condemns in His Word, they are not going to make it into His Kingdom. But there is hope. There is God’s true grace that a believer can call upon and resist the devil and his evil ways. The devil wants to get a believer to sin so he can take them to hell. God wants the believer to live holy so as to enter His Kingdom. Grace is the key to help us to live that holy life but grace is not a license to sin. If God’s grace was a security blanket to sin on some level, then the Bible’s warnings on how sin can destroy our souls would simply not exist in His Word. Jesus warned about how looking upon a woman in lust can cause our whole body to be cast into hell fire (Matthew 5:28-30). Paul warned if we do not provide for our own we have denied the faith, and we are worse than an infidel or unbeliever (1 Timothy 5:8).

I say what agrees with this actually. God is not willing that any perish. We still need to respond with the repentant faith coming to Christ.

I do not think I disagree with "the Bible’s true teaching on Sanctification", you have not shown that. Notice I speak of those responding with repentant faith coming to Christ. Others do not come to salvation. So, no sanctification. With the biblical faith to come to salvation, responding with repentance coming to Christ, the Bible does not say any doing this would turn away from all that. Why would they? You have not shown how one responds with repentant faith to come to Christ for restoration to God and then turns away from that. Something was not real in that if anything like that happens. And sanctification is work from God with cooperation from the human believer, believers are supposed to grow toward godliness. That is one important thing for which God saves any of us. I don't do some things others do in godliness. But I do a number of godly things others do not. The reality is there are more things in which we are to yet grow, which God would lead us to. And where there is awareness of sin and things that keep us from godliness we need to turn from those and keep those out of our life, which we are to come to see.

God's grace is to turn us from life with sins.

Growth in godliness is important and what we do matters. Those who do not have repentant faith do not show the change with growth with works of the fruit of the Spirit of God. What do you think is meant by 1 John 2:19?

You have a whole lot of misconceptions about believing OSAS. I can't really get to all those things, except to call you on it. You are not really portraying what I say which you respond to.

Fear of God that only you bring up for an issue is not anything I disagree with. We should fear, God has absolute control and can do anything in our lives. God has no limits. It is well for us that God is good, but it is right to fear God.

You have not shown how "one is going to turn God’s grace into a license to sin automatically." Sounds like you do not have understanding or belief in repentance.
