Mystery, Babylon the Great - Blood (Seal 5) & Revenge (Seal 6)

I want to look at the whole Mystery Babylon thing from one angle: blood & revenge. Where does the Mystery Babylon get drunk on the blood of saints, and how does the resulting revenge/judgment play out?

Summary:

Note: One does not get drunk by drinking a lot of something. One gets drunk by drinking a lot of something very quickly.

The blood and revenge are described in seals 5 & 6:

Seal 5 (Blood): Rome destroyed via nuclear terrorism. Iran.
Seal 6 (Revenge, Judgment): Europe nukes Iran in revenge 9 months later. Iran responds to Europe and Gulf states.

Mystery Babylon has a nuclear arsenal. She will see no sorrow because she is untouchable, or so she thinks. Currently, it looks like Iran is the Mystery Babylon.

Jewish Midrash: At the time of the end, Rome will fall at the hands of Persia.
Daniel 8 (a vision of the end-time): The ram (Iran) is generally causing trouble. Suddenly, the goat (Europe) attacks in rage via the air and destroys the ram.
Jewish Midrash: When the leaders of nations are struggling with each other, Persia will attempt to destroy the world.
Isaiah 21: Iran attacks. It's a labor pain. Get ready for revenge. There is an investigation. Waiting for messages. Babylon has fallen, has fallen.
Saudi Arabia (Is. 21). Collateral damage. I believe other Gulf states will also be collateral damage thanks to Iran.

What is a seal?

I define a seal as a series of labor pains (harvests) or shocks along the entire end-time period of about 100 years. All will be nuclear except one.

WHO DOES BABYLON THE HARLOT WOMAN REPRESENT IN THE BOOK OF REVELATIONS?

NOTE: BABYLON is being portrayed here in REVELATION 14:8 as an UNFAITHFUL WOMAN.

SYMBOLS AND LETTING THE BIBLE INTERPRET ITSELF

*WOMAN PURE = God's people faithful (Jeremiah 6:2; 2 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 5:23-27)

*WOMAN harlot = God's people unfaithful to God fornicator, adulteress, unfaithful or false religion (Isaiah 1:21-27; Jeremiah 3:1-3; 6-9; Ezekiel 16:15-58; 23:2-21; Hosea 2:5; 3:1; Revelations 14:4)

*MOTHER OF HARLOTS = Gives birth to unfaithful or false religion offspring and children just like the Mother

*BEAST = Kingdom; Nations or political power (Daniel 7:17; 23; Proverbs 28:15)

*HORN OF A BEAST= A king or ruler that arise out of the Kingdom; Nations or political power (Daniel 7:24; 8:5; 21-22; Zechariah 1:18-19; Revelations 17:12)

*SCARLET COLOR = sin (Isaiah 1:18)

*HAND = To act out or to do action (Ecclesiastes 9:10; Acts 4:28 etc)

*FOREHAND = To believe or think (Ezekiel 3:8-9; Jeremiah 3:3 see also word meanings)

*MARK/SEAL/SIGN = is BELIEVING AND FOLLOWING GOD'S WORD or NOT BELIEVING AND FOLLOWING God's WORD (Revelation 14:7-12; 7:4-10

Similar warnings and scriptures are also found in REVELATIONS 17:1-5 where BABYLON is described as an UNFAITHFUL WOMAN [HARLOT] sitting on the SCARLET COLORED BEAST which is connected to those receiving the MARK OF THE BEAST in REVELATIONS 14:9-10. While REVELATIONS 18:1-10 is a call for God’s people to come out of BABYLON that they do not receive the judgments of God which are connected to the BEASTS MARK. CONCLUSION: God has his people in EVERY CHURCH. Not all these Churches are following God or his WORD. Not all these Churches are faithful to God or his WORD. It is not the people in these Churches that God hates and will send judgements to it is the Churches that lead his people away from his WORD to break his commandments. God has his people in all these Churches and is calling his true people out of these Churches to worship him and follow him in Spirit and in truth according to the WORD of GOD. It is because of his great love to us that before the judgments of God fall on these Churches, GOD will call his true followers OUT of these corrupt unfaithful Churches to follow him according to his WORD.

BABYLON represents the Mother Church; the Roman Catholic Church (not the people in it) and the fallen Protestant Churches (not the people). God has his people in every Church and loves them all. He is calling them out to whoship him in Spirit and in truth according to his Word.

So you interpreted seal 6th as a nuclear attack on Iran? I am sorry, this has nothing to do with nuclear war between nations.

No, not accurate. This vision has NOTHING to do with a certain country against others prior to Second Coming. Rather the ram represents the congregation of Israel. First the Jews/Israel (first horn) then the Gentiles Church which is larger and comes last after the cross (second horn). Because the mission of the church is much larger and win more people than national Israel can. The He-Goat is Satan's kingdom. The Media and Persia and Grecia are a TYPE of spiritual kingdoms of God and Satan! You need to study in Old Testament. Cyrus was the king of Media and Persia who have freed the Jews after 70 years of captivity, right? You need to understand why God considered him as His servant. He is a type of Christ! The prophecy has nothing to do with physical nations in the Middle East, but a type for God's congregation, making up of Old Israel and Covenant Israel v.s. Satan's kingdom is responsible for bringing down their power twice. The first horn broken represents the fall of the Old Testament congregation at the Cross when the kingdom was taken from then and gave to others. The second (higher) horn broken represents the fall of the New Testament congregation after the building of Christ's church is completed, prior to Second Coming. He-goat is the kingdom of Satan with him as king until the Cross when Christ broke his power. Despite being bound by Christ, Satan went forth to all over the world (four winds) after the church in the New Testament. You don't seem to agree that the harlot is a geographical location, either a city or nation.

How do you define "sits"?

Rev. 17:9 The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.

Iran neighbors: Iraq, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

These are not hills but rather mountains. A mountain is a government or kingdom.

Despite being bound by Christ, Satan went forth to all over the world (four winds) after the church in the New Testament. Then in the time of the end when Satan is loosened, He will be allowed to have his full power restored like He had before the Cross, but only for a short season until his end when Christ returns. This is what the little horn represents! "Power for a short season." The little horn is not about a man out of Europe or the fancy imagination of men as most belief.

I'm not surprised that I'm getting beaten up here. It's too much for most people.

Let me be 100% clear here. What I have written is man-made speculation. I could be entirely wrong about everything. There is not enough information to come to a definitive answer.

When looking into a future that is fuzzy at best, it is possible to entertain multiple views at the same time. Gradually as we get closer then one view will become more dominate.

No, this has nothing to do with "geographical location".

How do you define "sits"?

Sit means to rule. Just as the man of sin (false prophets and christs - not one single man) sits (rule) in the temple of God (church).

Here is the mind that has WISDOM. The seven heads (represent authority) are seven mountains (represents kingdoms/rules), that the woman sits upon then represents her fornication with the Beast (The woman representing the harlot congregation). Five of this beast's rules had already taken place before the cross, the one that was in John's day was Satan going about as a roaring lion in the world even through he was bound and chained for the sake of the Election (church), and the other that had not yet come wass Satan's kingdom or rule AFTER he is loosed from the pit. And when he is, he must contiune a short space/season/time.

Now the 8th is explained by the Word to be OF THE 7 KINGDOM. The reason is becasue Satan spans the completness of time (he was there all through the completion of the rule of these kings), being the spirit Satan.

Revelation 17:11

"And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition."

That's what it means that he that was, is and is not is of the seven. Because he is the power of the seven, BEING the Beast itself upon which the 10 horns grow. He is the spirit of the 7 that spans the completeness of this time, the one that was, and is not, and yet is. "HE" is spoken of as the eighth because he is the entity that rules the seven. He will go into perdition when the Lord returns and judges him. He is the spirit Satan who is of this complete (7) ruling through time, he moves them, working within them as adversary to Christ.

Ephesians 2:2-3

"Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others."

Satan is a spirit being and he has been of this 7 the completion of his rule, from the beginning. It is the spiritual kingdom that the unfaithful congregation sits upon (rule).

The purpose of Revelation chapter 17 is that by the Spirit of God, the apostle John (and indeed all the elect) would show God's people the judgment of the great harlot, the unfaithful church/woman that sits upon many waters. It's not a few churches here or there, it's a world wide apostasy. As by the Spirit of God John saw it, so by that same Spirit the elect will have this mystery/secret of the harlot revealed to them. To the rest, Babylon will remain a mystery/secret, as they will be somewhat oblivious to the destruction going on in their churches. Because their conscience is seared or calloused over.

..without the Spirit, these things are just another cryptic and mysterious page of Revelation that is out of the grasp of their understanding as I can see going on here. They came up with theories that she should be RCC, America, Iran, Israel, etc. based on their carnal interpretation, and not with a spiritual understanding.

I define a seal as a series of labor pains (harvests) or shocks along the entire end-time period of about 100 years. All will be nuclear except one.

Matt, the mistake you are making is thinking the woman is Babylon the Great because she has the name "Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and abominations of the earth" written on her forehead.

Although influenced by Babylon the Great, she herself is not Babylon the Great, but one of the harlots - as she is called the great harlot in Revelation 17:1.

In Revelation 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Can we lay that soley on Iran? No we can't. Can we lay that soley on Rome? Or any earthly power? No we can't.

Babylon the Great is the mystical (not earthly) kingdom of Satan and his angels.

The ten kings aligned with the beast destroy the harlot, in Revelation 17:16. In Revelation 17:9, the harlot sits on 7 mountains. The harlot also sits on many waters, Revelation 17:1. In Revelation 17:15 the waters are peoples, multitudes, nations, tongues - i.e. worldwide.

The harlot has committed atrocities against Christians, Revelation 17:6. The harlot is ornate, dresses in colors of purple and scarlet, Revelation 17:4. The harlot is beautiful in appearance, Revelation 17:6.

Now think of what entity is located in a place featuring 7 mountains. That is ornate, and has purple and scarlet to her attire. That extends it's influence worldwide because many peoples are part of her domain.

The forum rules are unclear about what can be said about certain entities, so I can't go any further than that.

But that harlot will be destroyed with fire and left desolate.

One will need to understand one of the primary and crucial rules of Biblical interpretations. That the Bible is its own interpreter. We search to see where other Scriptures are speaking with the same language and consider (in context) what God is actually talking about. For Example:

Jeremiah 5:26-31

"For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.
As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.
They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.
Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land;
The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?"

See the correlation between these wicked, who are the wicked among God's people who lay in wait setting snares that they may by deceit catch the unsuspecting in their traps?. That's why God instructs His own to come out from among them, that they not also receive of their plagues in judgment. Those who prophesy falsely are coming under the wrath of God. In Revelation 18, God's people who were this once great city, have now become as a cage of these unclean birds, that city now spiritually as Babylon.

Therefore, God was not talking about any specific physical nation nor physical city of Jerusalem in the Middle East. He is talking about his unfaithful congregations all over the world.

They lived "luxuriously" or lusciously signifying that she was the Church that made them spiritually rich with the Gospel that God has blessed her in the first place before she has become a home of the devils. Nothing to do with the world's definition of rich! Why do you think God said that when she is fallen, the merchants that were made rich by her stand far off from her in mourning?

Think about it. It is because the things that made them rich will no more be found in her? Because she is no longer the Church, a representative of God's Kingdom, that rules over the kings, because this unfaithful (thus fornicating) Church is now fallen and become the habitation of devils. That is the whole point, people!

Revelation 18:11-15

"And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

All the things in the Church that make men rich, fat and goodly are now departed from this city Babylon, and she shall find them no more at all. She's down for the count! And it is a sad occasion to see the Church fall and these Kings and merchants who once lived richly with her stand afar off from her judgment, weeping and wailing for what she once was. In one hour is she become desolate.

Does this sound like a qualification for a physical country or city to you or how spiritually bankruptcy of God's unfaithful church has become, humm? It depends on whether one has the spirit to discern who Babylon the Great really is.
