Perfected means perfected, made complete. look up the word i the original. Christs death accomplished that for those He died for.

So your saying that verse 10 cancels out verses 26 & 27? No all verses are truth they don’t contradict one another. So you have to understand how both can be true not just one and ignore the other.

Through Christ’s sacrifice. What’s your point?
That is my point. Christs death sanctified them He died for and perfected them forever. Nobody can undo His Death. Those He died for are secured forever unto God !

Heb 10:26,27 cant cancel out Heb 10:10,14 those Christ died for are sanctified and perfected forever. Can anyone cancel out what Christ has done ?

The verses I quoted were GOD'S answer to your incorrect conclusion about who 2 Timothy 2:12 was talking about.

So what your saying is that when Paul said “we” and “us” he really meant “someone else”? What this is right here is allowing our doctrines to define the scriptures instead of allowing the scriptures to define our doctrines. Your not allowing the scriptures to teach what they actually say, instead your filtering what the scriptures actually say thru your doctrinal interpretation which is why your coming to this conclusion. When you do this the scriptures are actually taking a back seat to your doctrines because your allowing your doctrines to determine what the scriptures are saying.

So- God's answer is not enoungh for you?

That’s not God’s answer to 2 Timothy 2:12 that’s just your refusal to accept what He actually said.

Now pay attention because I’m going to show you how a person actually gives an explanation about the scriptures instead of running away from the verses that contradicts their theology.

“They went out from us” refers to a specific group of people. Nothing in this statement implies that everyone who falls away was never in Christ. It only refers to this specific group that John was talking about.

What Paul is saying in 2 Timothy 1:12 is that Christ will guard his soul. And He will but only if we cooperate with Him. If we are defiant and turn away Christ will not stop us. He will urge us to repent thru the Holy Spirit but He will not intervene in such a way as to remove us of our free will. He will help us but just because He helps us doesn’t mean we will undoubtedly be saved. Take a look at Luke 13:6-9.

“And He began telling this parable: “A man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any. And he said to the vineyard-keeper, ‘Behold, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?’ And he answered and said to him, ‘Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer; and if it bears fruit next year, fine; but if not, cut it down.’ ””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭13:6-9‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Notice that despite Jesus’ efforts to save the tree the outcome is still uncertain. That’s because it’s up to the tree to either cooperate or remain defiant. As long as we keep coming to Christ humble and sincere He will guard us but if we set ourself against Him He will let us and we will receive God’s wrath and judgment.

Your interpretation of these verses contradicts John 15:2, John 15:6, Galatians 5:4, and 2 Timothy 2:12 as well as the implications in John 15:4, John 15:5, and John 15:7.

John 15:2 The Father cuts off every branch IN ME that beareth not fruit. Jesus specifically stated that the branches who are cut off we’re in Him.

John 15:4 why does Jesus tell them to remain in Him if they are incapable of turning away and why does He say “unless you remain in Me” if they cannot turn away from Him? Does this mean that if they were to turn away that they were never in Him to begin with? If that were the case then He wouldn’t have said remain in Me if they were not yet in Him.

John 15:5 why does Jesus tell them “apart from Me you can do nothing” if they are not capable of being apart from Him?

John 15:5 this verse speaks for itself. Obviously Jesus is warning them of the consequences of failing to remain in Him so why would He tell them the consequences of doing something they cannot do? What would be the point of that?

John 15:7 why did Jesus say “IF you remain in Me” if they are incapable of falling away? Why would He give this condition if the condition itself is an impossibility?

Galatians 5:4 why does Paul say “you have been severed from Christ, you have fallen from grace” if they cannot be severed from Christ? A person cannot be severed from Christ if they were never joined to Him. Would you say that Caiaphas, Barrabas, or Pontus Pilot was severed from Christ if they were never joined to Him?

2 Timothy 2:12 I’ve already explained this so no need to reiterate.

Brightfame: "20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

Christ prays for their preservation in the world Jn 17:15,20

15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

Christ prays they will be in Glory with Him Jn 17:24

24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world."

The prayer in your own quotation is for the Father to keep them from the evil.

Then, how is that spoken to be done ?

By being established by the Lord, to do the things commanded by Christ.

For God to direct our hearts into the love of God.

Yo behave orderly and to withdraw/be separate from all who walk disorderly...

2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
4 And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
7 For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

That is why a prayer needed to be said to keep ( the sheep) from evil, because so many wolves in sheep's clothing say otherwise, that doing evil is acceptable with the Shepherd of the sheep..

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

1 Peter 2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

Jesus speaks about the tree bearing fruit, or being cut off...

Luke 13:9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

Then Jesus speaks again, how the good tree brings forth fruit, good fruit, and Jesus tells how the corrupt tree, is impossible to bring forth good fruit, it brings forth instead, thorns and thistles..

Matthew 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Matthew 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Matthew 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

In Jesus, and Jesus in us, much fruit is brought forth ( no thorns and thistles) which is the nothing they do when not truly in Him...

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

The good fruits ( from above) is pure, gentle, intreated easily, has all the mercy and is without hypocrisy.

But the ones who are spots, feed without fear, they are trees whose fruit withers, are without fruit ( bring forth thorns and thistles)..

James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

Now, remembering the bearing fruit, then being cut off if it does not.

We boast not, standing by faith, to not be highminded, but to fear, ( unlike the ones and many, who feed themselves without fear and without fruit).

We know continuing in Gods goodness is a good idea, because, otherwise we also shall be cut off. (fearing is to not boast, to not be highminded, considering we are safe/saved, as all the world of people, do, do)..

Romans 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

Now, all the world say they are saved, but that as said, considers they are safe, which means they are without fear of God ( greatly fearing Him)

Yet Jesus did testify for us, he that endures to the end, shall be saved, not the ones who disregard and who also do not endure to the end.

So again, it is taught to fear God who can destroy our body and then our soul in hell.

To fear not, because God values us, but also, to value God above your life and those who would kill only your body, by not denying Christ in anything in your life with Him..

Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

This is important so is spoken about again, in the same Gospel.

The many false teachers rise, and the world believes in their message of doing iniquity.

Enduring to the end, without iniquity, is to be saved.

This Gospel of the Kingdom is preached, ( now) and it is the end..

Matthew 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Enduring to the end, is, charity endures all things ( if Gods love is within us)

If we go through the tribulations ( yes this is great tribulation we are going through) it is a token of being counted worthy of the Kingdom of God ( if we endure to the end)..

1 Corinthians 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

2 Thessalonians 1:4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

The persecutions came to the Apostles, they endured them to the end( till death)

Abraham endured after receiving the promises, we also be not slothful but endure through faith and patience.

Moses endured by faith, not fearing man and the king of Egypt, but fearing God...

2 Timothy 3:11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

Hebrews 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Hebrews 11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

Even Jesus Christ our Lord had to endure the cross, we consider Him so we faint not in the terrible tribulations ( I know of them) to also endure the contradictions of men..

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Israel could not endure, the law was not written in their heart to fear God, same for many now who are without fear of God ( even though they say they do)..

Hebrews 12:20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:

Now we endure the great afflictions ( the afflictions and sufferings of Christ) to humble ourselves too, not fearing man, but FEARING GOD INSTEAD to get life, for the man that endures the temptations ( and overcomes as Christ also overcame) receives the crown of life if we love Christ and love all who He loved and the way He loved..

Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Hebrews 10:32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Luke 22:28 Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

If one has the fear of God, they know the Son has this, and is this:

Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;

Isaiah 11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

It is us fearing God ( through the Son of God, and the Spirit of the fear of the Lord in us) that makes us hold the responsibilty ( through fear) and then, the ones without fearing the Lord, claim responsibility on anyone else.

Where do you think the fear of God comes from ? Its from God, for man by nature doesnt fear God Rom 3:18

18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.

But God in Covenant says Jer 32:40

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

So again, its Gods
responsibility to ensure the perseverance of the believer, so that the believer never departs from Him.

Thats why to deny eternal security and perseverance of the believer is an outright attack against the power of God !

"But God in Covenant says Jer 32:40"

Yes, God in the new covenant will place His fear in the hearts of who He chooses.

Because the previous ones as testified, were not humbled, to then fear God, to then walk in His law...

Jeremiah 44:10 They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.

That is why I keep showing the verses about humility, and what to fear, that we can be cut off...

1 Corinthians 10: 11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

"So again, its Gods

Thats why to deny eternal security and perseverance of the believer is an outright attack against the power of God "

I guess that's why we are set into a race, and need to run, to receive the prize and obtain.

To strive for that prize, to be temperate in all things is
necessary, to obtain the incorruptible crown.

Fighting, ( because we are placed in a war which we need to fight to win) and therefore running, by keeping our body bringing it into subjection, or being a castaway for being a hypocrite..

1 Corinthians 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

1 Timothy 1:18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:

2 Timothy 2, continues on about that striving, which is also as in 1 Timothy 1, to be a good soldier of Christ, which means we must endure, to please God who chooses us to be soldiers, and then about the striving for the masteries and the crown/reward, there will be no crown unless it is done lawfully, in the law of righteousness of Christ and His wisdom is above mans deception.

2 Timothy 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.

There are commandment to do, and commandments to FEAR.

If somebody trains up soldiers, they did the best they could do, the preparation, now it is up to that soldier to succeed, or fail, if they are careful(fearing and humbled to remember their teaching they might win, if foolish and arrogant they will fail and die)..

Proverbs 13:13 Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.

Luke 18:9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

God also deprives some of fear and wisdom, which is the many on earth who think and state they are saved and only few are for finding the narrow path of the endless examples GOD GAVE US FOR ABASING OURSELVES, and EXALTING OURSELVES PROVES WE HAVE NO OBEDIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST IN US..

Job 39:16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her's: her labour is in vain without fear;
17 Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.

Proverbs 17:19 He loveth transgression that loveth strife: and he that exalteth his gate seeketh destruction.

Luke 14:10 But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.
11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

1 Timothy 1:18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;

Job 39:16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her's: her labour is in vain without fear;

2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
So do you believe in eternal security or not ? Just a simple yes or no please.

Yes I believe in eternal security, for all those who endure to the end to be saved. There cant be eternal security before that, or the teaching of Christ would be spoken in vain, which I am sure you do not want to teach.

Here are the recommendations..

2 Timothy 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

All the Sheep in Gods Hand are safe and secure eternally Jn 10:28

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand

The word Hand here is enlightening, its the greek word cheir and means:

  1. by the help or agency of any one, by means of any one

  2. fig. applied to God symbolising his might, activity, power
    1. in creating the universe

    2. in upholding and preserving (God is present protecting and aiding one)
  1. in punishing

  2. in determining and controlling the destinies of men
to grip or hold tightly or firmly:

The Sheep are being preserved by the Power of God, He will not let them go, they are in His powerful grasp, clutch !

The Sheep couldn't be lost if it wanted to.

Sure, but Jesus told the ones who assumed they are His sheep, how they are not His sheep, and why they are not His sheep..

John 10:25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30 I and my Father are one.

The sheep hear all God requires of them, and do it, they saw the works Jesus did, of humbling Himself to the death of the cross, and they follow Him ( the same way) All others are not His sheep, because they cant believe these things, to be the last, the least and the lowest, as Jesus taught and as He lived here for us to follow.

Eternal security is true for the believer because God promises to preserve them. Ps 121

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

What is the evil that God preserves us, from being defiled in ?

Job 33:17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.

Job 35:12 There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.

Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Mark 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
