Last I checked they aren't forced to vaccinate and they aren't that big on following the rules.

They help stop people from touching their lips and nose after potentially picking up the virus from something they had handled. In that way they do help cut down on infections.

There's no vaccine that has anywhere near 100% effectiveness in the long term (at least not what I've seen) and the people flooding across the border aren't fleeing heavily vaccinated areas.

You may have noticed that many European nations have imposed restrictions on entering their nations unvaccinated. It's as if they understand you can't have a constant stream of people entering the nation unvaccinated and hope to control a pandemic. That's step one.

If you're not going to address that, then stop pretending that you care about controlling the pandemic.

The science has been well documented from the beginning. If it isn't a tight fitting N95 mask then it provides very limited protection. Anyone who wears glasses in Winter can tell you they fog up when wearing a mask, so they obviously allow a lot of leakage.

If unvaccinated people were carrying the viral loads that fully vaccinated people have been detected carrying, they would be sick and symptomatic and thus either in hospital or staying at home. Vaccinated people are likely contributing more to the spread because of a mistaken belief that they can no longer carry the virus.

Doesn't mean you should NOT wear them. The purpose is to DECREASE the viral load. Keep that in mind. That's the sole purpose.

What part is fake to you? The fact that new covid variants are literally walking across our border and then being released into the US? Or that other nations are trying hard to prevent the exact same thing from happening to them?

You're aware that the vaccinated are still spreading the virus, right? Being vaccinated doesn't stop someone from spreading covid.

We are in a worse state now than we were a year ago....before the vaccine was available. The only difference now, is that people are being told that they can take their masks off, gather indoors etc.... if they get vaccinated....
