The vaccinated person and I CERTAINLY would choose the vaccinated person if they came in complaining of suspected co-vid.As the article states, vaccination status might be a consideration when it comes to triage for an ICU bed. Vaccinated car accident victim vs unvaccinated Covid patient both needing an ICU bed, which might you go with?
the person in the worse condition, car accident might be internal bleeding needing to be address asap.Vaccinated car accident victim vs unvaccinated Covid patient both needing an ICU bed, which might you go with?
How long does it take to find out if a person is vaccinated, when there is massive internal bleeding? They don't normally wait even to find out if they have insurance.the person in the worse condition, car accident might be internal bleeding needing to be address asap.

Why at this point? The most severe case should take priority, whichever one that may be. Vaccinated or not shouldn’t even be a factor.

Unequal weights are an abomination to the Lord,
and false scales are not good.
I haven’t studied medical ethics and ultimately defer to those in the medical field who are both living /working within with the current crisis and have studied the topic of ethics in medicine.
If you didn’t trust the medical field on vaccines why are you going to them to save your life?

Give them antivirals? Remdesivir? We've moved on quite a LONG way now from March 2020. How is this even still a thing?
We're basically back to normal over here.

Doctors and hospitals are not in the blame and punishment business. Nor should they be. That doctors treat sinners and responsible citizens alike is a noble tradition, an ethical feature and not a bug. And we shouldn’t abandon it now.
'Consensus' seems to be whatever gets noised abroad. There are plenty of healthcare workers, professionals, doctors, who say the science does not support it. But they are systematically silenced. "And rightly so!", I hear, in my left ear... "The first amendment can be put on hold —this is an emergency!"I haven’t studied medical ethics and ultimately defer to those in the medical field who are both living /working within with the current crisis and have studied the topic of ethics in medicine.
That being said, my personal, not completely educated opinion is that this is an unprecedented situation and there are no appropriate analogies or worries of a slippery slope. People who stubbornly and selfishly refused to do the super easy, free thing and get vaccinated, claiming COVID isn’t that bad, individual freedom, don’t trust science, are now overwhelming hospitals and causing the DEATH and suffering of vaccinated people who now cannot access medical care. If you didn’t trust the medical field on vaccines why are you going to them to save your life?
I don't carry my wallet at work. And the rescue guys at the traffic accident scene won't look for it, where I do keep it. (No, don't bother looking; I don't keep much money in it.)Ive got a copy of my card in my wallet.
