Then, as you said, gentiles were never under the laws of the old covenant why not answer my question and tell us when and who put them under those laws? I do not remember anyone writing on this forum that has stated that there is no law. Where did you get that assumption?

Of course, Jesus taught from Torah, He was born under the Law of Moses, the old covenant, and taught old covenant law. You are aware that Jesus ushered in the new covenant at His death, are you not? Anyone born after the new covenant was ratified are under the new covenant. Why then do you believe you are under the old one?

And to "complete" is to "bring to an end". Jesus brought the old covenant with its ritual laws to an end. All the laws that deal with morality are forever. Sabbath was a ritual law as were all the remainder of the laws dealing with the keeping of days.

Jeus was the end of the old covenant, period. You quoted scripture that is in no way relevant to the subject. You cannot take your "proof texts" out of context and think for a moment that we would buy into your shenanigan. OY! I implore you to read the whole chapter of Ez 36 and then tell us it is about the subject a hand.

What all that you have written sounds like you have been listening to the wrong belief system. You, who is eager to live under the laws of the old covenant then it must be "wicked " to build a fire on Israel's holy days. It must be wicked to speak of worldly things on holy days Is 58:13 “If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath
and from doing as you please on my holy day,
if you call the Sabbath a delight
and the Lord’s holy day honorable,
and if you honor it by not going your own way
and not doing as you please or speaking idle words,
14 then you will find your joy in the Lord,

I know all about "keeping" Sabbath. I know all about what Sabbath "keepers" do on Sabbath. According to what you wrote, the ones I fellowshipped with must really be wicked people and that included me.
I just do as Jesus asked, if you love me keep my commandments, and really the only thing new about the new covenant is I get to receive the free gift of the set-apart spirit,be freed from sin and death, and become a servant of righteousness. God's commandments stand fast forever and ever and no man or his tradition usurps his authority.

I'd have thought our Lord having risen from the dead on Sunday gave it a kind of special status, but U guess it just wasn't that big a deal.

And I have noticed that amongst Judaizers. "Can we celebrate our Lord's birth?", "No, it wasn't that important. We'll celebrate Channukah instead." "Can we celebrate our Lord's Resurrection?" "No, some pagans somewhere used to have a holiday of some kind around that same time, and the Resurrection isn't mentioned in the Old Testament, so no worshipping Christ on Easter. You can celebrate the Passover, though. "Church on the day of the week our Lord rose?" "Nope, no can do, you'll have to join the unbelieving Jews in ignoring all this New Testament stuff and keeping the Sabbath. "
Nobody told you you can't keep sunday in remembrance of Christ's resurrection, but God sanctified the seventh day and the new covenant has not changed that.

I surely cannot show you anything about Sunday being a Holy day. I never said it is. Why do you bring that worn out question to the debate? SDAs have been asking that trick for years? And since you refuse to answer my question about when gentiles were ever told we have to keep any of the ritual laws of the old covenant I have to assume you are being guided by some group that doesn't really have the truth and I have no desire to get mixed up with a group that doesn't proclaim the real truth. Your out of context pseudo answer of Jn 14:15 doesn't tell me I have to observe a day because when I read what Jesus said His commandments are in Jn15: 9-14 they do not say ten commandments like you would like others to believe and so I know you are not telling me the real truth. You believe keeping Jesus' commandments are observing the old covenant and its laws (at least some of them). You believe Jesus didn't end the old covenant belief system and give all mankind a new and better covenant with better promises. You, by what you have been writing, do not believe Jesus fulfilled the law and the prophets. It is also evident that you do not believe Paul when He wrote Eph 2:15 and 2Cor 3:6-11.

I'm sorry I'm just trying to understand where your coming from. So you think the sabbath day is a ritual law included with circumcision, sacrifices, and offerings etc., I have to disagree. If God wanted to abolish the sabbath why would he come down as a consuming fire and write it with his own finger to emphasize its importance, just to have it abolished.

Please quote me where I said it’s not a big deal that Jesus rose from the dead after His great sacrifice for our sins. While you’re at it please quote where Jesus said after He rises you will now worship Him on the first day and we no longer have to obey God’s 4th commandment? We should not add our words to the Words of Jesus. Jesus rose and went back to Heaven and rested and kept the Sabbath even in death.

I do honor Christ's resurrection he died for me so I died for him so he can live in me, but that still doesn't change the sabbath commandment.

I sorry you believe God's law has been abolished. God bless you.
Please don't be sorry my friend. The law has much to offer even though new covenant believers are not under those laws. We are however under the Law of love, the new law of love that Jesus gave us in Jn15. We are to love others as He loves us. There is no greater love than to give our lives for others. Jesus did that for all mankind. What a wonderful Savior we have. Never give up, He is coming again.

Jesus told us He didn't come to "abolish" the law and I believe Jesus. He did tell us He came to fulfill the law. He did what no Israelite was able to do and He said not one jot or one tittle would pass from the law that he kept perfectly UNTIL all was fulfilled. My question to you now see the "all"? Did Jesus keep His word or did He fail to do what He said He came to do? If, indeed he accomplished all He came to do then jots and tittles have passed form the law and we can trust Paul's writings to the Corinthians as in 2Cor3:6-11.
6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
7 Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, 8 will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? 9 If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! 10 For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. 11 And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!

Please do not try to find what others in your group think those verses are telling us. You think them out for yourself. Tell me what you think those verses are telling you in light of Jesus fulfilling the law.

[Here's what it tells me.] (Romans 8:1-2) 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.[I'm free from sin and death not God's commandments and why would I want to be they are holy, just, and good. Also I don't let others speak my mind but the set-apart Spirit within me guides all my thoughts and actions.] (Romans 7:22) For I delight in the law of God after the inward man. (Romans 8:7-8) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. [What I thought the law had been abolished you said, guess not.]

Col 2:16 Let no one, then, judge you in eating or in drinking, or in respect of a feast, or of a new moon, or of sabbaths,
Col 2:17 which are a shadow of the coming things, and the body is of the Christ; (YLT)

Heb 8:13 In that He says, "A NEW COVENANT," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

The law has not been abolished. Heaven and earth are still here so there is still God’s laws. Luke 16:17. If there was no law there would be no sin. Look at the news- sin is everywhere, so there must still be law. Sin is the transgression of God’s law 1 John 3:4 and if there was no sin we would not need God’s grace and we would all be lost.

But your not even trying to obey the other 600 laws. It's as if those 600 laws do not exist.

You say the law is in force but you disregard 99% of the law.

Someone is deeply in error.

It's not the law written on stone, it's the divine law written on our hearts.

The law dictating the necessity for animal sacrifices was for the Jews only.

Paul was talking about love from a pure heart in his letters.

John 13:34
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

A new covenant, a new set of commandment, a new creation.
