Many companies and schools were afraid of law suits and other actions related to a vaccine that wasn't fully approved. We will see lots more concerts like the concert tonight: no vaccine, no admittance.

As an aside, I think it negligent for teacher's organizations and unions to allow their members to work without being vaccinated. Ditto for health care workers and first responders.

Schools (especially high schools) will be breeding grounds for the virus. IMO, thousands of schools will eb closed within a month.

Masks is NOT really the primary issue in schools. The masks we use help, but they are no match for the variant. The bottom line is that NO ONE OVER 12 YEARS OLD should allowed on school grounds without proof of vaccination. Vaccines for those under 12 needs to be approved ASAP. If schools are forced to accept unvaccinated and unmasked children, they should be segregated and taught by volunteer staff, and allowed ZERO contact with the other children.

People keep promising this world government and a future of progressive attitudes, and I keep being disappointed by their failure to appear..

When calamity strikes I look for 5 qualities in teammates:

Strategic thinking
Levelheadedness
Keeping cool under fire and uncertainty
Adaptability
Courageous

People who are overly emotional, lacking discretion, run behind every headline and conspiracy, or swear allegiance to popular figures are risk factors. They undermine the mission and threaten the safety of all involved.

Most of the people sounding alarms fall in the second group. They're full of hysteria and no practical solutions for the mishaps they're predicting. With all the warnings we're inundated with on a daily basis. No one's come forth with "thus saith the Lord."

Why is that? Why isn't He telling you what to do?

Call me skeptical, but I often think that the anti-vaccine movement has been orchestrated by those who want to improve Republican chances in 2022. If the virus is gone, Democrats will be credited--especially given the actions of De Santis and Abbott--COVID disaster areas whose people abd schoolchildren are like innocent sitting ducks.

And I am sure you realize that most Christians do not look at COVID through the lens of Bible prophecy.

I do not fear or suspect bad intentions from the WHO or the many countries who are generously sharing the vaccine with countries who cannot afford it. Times of crisis often bring people together, resulting in generosity and unity.

This week we have seen Haiti hit with a 7.2 earthquake. We see the people of Afghanistan trying to flee the country because their 300,000 man Army, a group the U.S. spent twenty years training and financing, collapsed in less than ten days. Working together through government and private relief organizations we can hopefully make a difference.

I hope Americans will realize that Afghan citizens who aided us as translators, drivers, etc. deserve to be welcomed and given asylum. They are good people deserving of our gratitude and assistance.

Hi I certainly am not afraid I am informed and grieved by what is going on and where this is heading. Jesus regarding the end times made a couple of warnings that He emphasized and they apply hear do not be afraid and do not be deceived it is here this political issue is tracking. Rev 6 notes that there is a time coming when the Lamb opens the seals and in the 1st set of seals you would see 1/4 of the earth die off when peace is taken from the earth and people kill one another at the same time a days wage is reduced to a quart of wheat and men will also die by the beasts. A good Bible teacher Chuck Misler speculated over 30 years ago the beast could be a virus or bacteria or now perhaps a vaccine.

I have looked deeply into the WEF strategic perspective page. They integrate the global reset with the most comprehensive strategies that you can examine for yourself the positions they hold and you can see montages of many global heads of states saying they are on board with the global reset initiatives. These policies are psalm 2 the nations taking counsel against the LORD and His annointed and trying to castoff the bonds from them. This is the final empire that comes for the tribulation and it is not a smooth transition as Rev 6 notes. This system collapses and we will see the US dollar go into hyperinflation which will effect almost all nations. The new system rises out of the fall of the old.


So I am not afraid as Jesus told us to look up for our redemption draws near.

Hi you are right most Christians are pretty illiterate as far as Bible prophecy goes and the Catholic view was largely shaped by allegory as Roman Emperor did not like the idea of the final empire being destroyed and the world being ruled by the stone in Dan 2 or the son of man who is before the ancient of days in Dan 7. I would suggest people consider the futurist view as things like Israel being a nation again and Jerusalem being a stumbling block to the whole world at a time when global government is achieved again and this happens when the morals of the planet are beyond that of Sodom and the time of the flood. Also at this time a 3rd temple will have to come on the scene and this is where the abomination of desolation will take place.

This is a 1 paragraph summary that is a small fraction of things lined up as futurist expected them to be for things to come to pass as it is written.

Correct...masks and closures were/are/and should only be viewed as, a stop gap (and in the face of delta, quite ineffective ones) until we had a method of acquiring antibodies that didn't involve actually having to be infected.

To use an automobile safety analogy...

1) Vaccination = Seatbelts, Airbags, and Automatic braking technology
2) Lockdowns/Closures = making everyone drive 15 mph
3) Cloth Masks = taping some bubble wrap to your steering wheel and dashboard so that "it hurts a tad less if you hit your head on it in a low speed crash"

Options 2 and 3 aren't sustainable on a long-term basis as for #2, society wouldn't be able to function under those types of conditions, and for #3, the protection offered would be so minimal under normal everyday circumstances, that it's not worth fighting over it with people who think "car accidents aren't real, and it's just a ploy for the Bill Gates and the liberals to control my driving habits"


Countries still thinking they're going to "mask their way out of this" or "lockdown their way out of this" are engaging in unrealistic wishful thinking.

I suspect that countries like NZ, who just locked down over a half a dozen cases (but still only has a vaccination rate of 20%), while touted early on before vaccines were available, are going to find themselves in a worse situation a year from now on if they don't shift their focus from "let's shutdown the country" to "let's get everyone vaccinated"

Any country still "chasing the dragon" of "0 covid" is taking on a fool's errand.

I would agree with all of what you said...

There are effective prevention and therapeutic options available now.


Vaccine mandates wouldn't even be anything new. It's just that this latest iteration of a virus got majorly politicized. Many states have requirements regarding certain immunizations, and there were always anti-vaxxers (regarding the MMR vaccine), but they were always the fringe and it wasn't drawn down party lines. With this latest iteration, it seems as if people started correlating "vaccine rejection" with some sort of conservative virtue.
