Well it makes complete sense. A bunch of people ASSUMING that since we have the science to create real effective vaccines, and have eradicated smallpox and polio for the most part, bringing IMMUNITY and QUALITY OF LIFE to people worldwide, SURELY they would make a vaccine fron these tried and true methods and not spring some highly controversial brand new technology never used before on humans. People ran out and got it- they called it a vaccine and it offers zero immunity! It is not even effective and the virus is not as dangerous as they want it to be. I mean swine flu killed 575,000 people. Where was the hysteria over that? What is the difference?

I think I may be on the verge of on an escalation of a friend that's claiming Gov. Lee of TN passed an order for "camps" for the unvaccinated.

By the way, she believes in Tarot card reading too....when I throw that in her face, that there may put a strain on our friendship.

It's not new tech.

Moderna was created 11 years ago to study mRNA tech and it existed prior to that with Monsanto

Why would you throw anything in her face? If she is your friend, and she found out some information. Why would they have a camp for unvaccinated? This isn't the Black plague!

No, I still talk to them by phone or text. One was admitted to hospital for covid 2 days ago. Her vaccinated daughters and grandchildren are terrified they will lose her. I hope she will recover.

Jordan Peterson has an excellent video which, I think, might answer your key question here.

He touches on key phrases like "immunological disgust" and similar.
Of particular interest and relevant to this thread is what he says at time stamp 1:30 or so:

"If you went around and sampled political attitudes... even around the same country ...the higher the prevalence of infectious diseases, the higher probability of totalitarian attitudes at the local political level."

And what he says around time stamp 3:15 or so is intriguing as well.

The video is very sobering, but enlightening too, and there's a link to the full series of lectures.

I prefer someone to show their hand than hide their intentions. Demonstrations of nastiness, fanaticism, and illogical deductions informs me who I'm dealing with. I make the necessary adjustments to keep it bay.

This isn't about vaccines, politics, etc. You don't act like that unless something's amiss. This is the 'trigger' that brought it forth. But it was already there. They're prone to factions. I don't build bonds with people like that. They're loose canons.

This is preseason Survivor. Don't let them get to you. Keep your head and play your game.

No one has a right to take anyone to task over differences of opinion. Irrespective of the subject. You're forgetting the chain of command.

You have authority over those in your home to the measure of agreement.
You may have influence over your family and friends.

But you can't exert authority over anyone who hasn't agreed to your leadership. They didn't pledge obeisance to you. All you can do is share an opinion. They're not obligated to listen or agree.

Verbal standoffs are indicative of people who've forgotten their place. They assume a power that doesn't exist. It's a figment of their imagination. If they wanted to follow you they would. You don't have to twist their arm.

We (USA) are currently at >637,000 deaths due to COVID in about 17 months. We have seen 37.3 million cases of COVID in that same roughly 17 months. This means that had we had as many Covid cases as H1N1 cases in about a year, there would have been >750,000 deaths.

It is not hard to grasp why Covid is more concerning to most at a comparable death rate in the US of > 750,000 for Covid vs 12,500 for H1N1 in the US in roughly the same time period.

Many might make it to about the 4 year mark but Biden won't be in office then. He will be underground hiding somewhere when it happens because that paranoia will be turning to hysteria as people realize what happened and want answers, justice, revenge, all I know is it will not be pretty. Think about it. Satan will be coming to power soon. He wants to take the population to hell. He cannot stand the thought of even one person getting what he feels should be rightfully his. All that will be left for the most part is those who threaten to gain what he lost- the right to go home. If we can just endure whatever he throws at us- remembering we will only have to go through it once on earth but then never again but if we do not then eternity.

In my opinion the Vaccine. There is no historical human trial data to reference. All they have is the animal trial data which did not fare well in 2012.

How else would I feel? People have logical genuine unpolitical reasons for wanting to wait and people attack them with rudeness without ever sympathizing with their honest concerns. No one says " I can see why that would worry you but..." Or " That is a good point but..." There is no acknowledgement. They dont hear you. They want to attack you personally, your looks, your name, and they hope you die. How is that persuasive? Oh well thanks- Ill just run out and get it now!"
