2:38am. If you’re having trouble sleeping...I’m here for some random talk. Chat.
Jokes? Music? I’m not really good talking politics but hey...this late at night, politics could turn interesting- dare I say fun!? Let’s not push it.

Listening to jaymes young. Have a copy of Romeo and Juliet’s book in my hand. Just finishing it for the 10th time this month. Haven’t touch that book since high school.

Tv really sucks at this time. The rest of the world is sound asleep. Wishful thinking.

You?

America is not the world. CF is a Forum with members from all over the world. The rest of the world is usually wide awake while you're sleeping.

Right now where I live it's 7.32pm on 10 August. From my point of view your time is 5.32am.

My Today is your Tomorrow
Your Today is my Yesterday

It's called Time Zones. :)

True. However, I know you knew this was directed mostly to those in a similar situation as I was. But hey...the more the merrier.

sincerely,
The girl from your yesterday

OK. I may have been a bit sharp with you - I apologise. In my defence in the past I have had to explain time zones to American CFers who didn't understand that it could be night in the US and daytime here. I once had to explain how it was summer here and winter there. I am not making this up.

There's also the problem where I've had to preface a post for a new thread on an ethical issue with a "America is not the world" line to stop American posters from assuming that the US Constitution/Bill of Rights was some kind of universal moral code or assuming that American law applied outside America.

After 10 years on CF and long discussions with my American based brother I find that some Americans tend to be a little inward looking. For those of us in the bigger world regular claims, by Americans, that America is the greatest, when it patently it is not, wear a bit thin after a while.

Read a good book - that'll put you to sleep. :)

See, that’s some helpful advice ;)
Thank you
P.S. A good book would keep me up.

I used to be so jealous of my friends that could pass out with ease. One time my friend fell asleep while sitting up with a game controller in his hands.
Lol. Well...that sounds glorious. Perhaps I should hold the game controller. :p

It only worked for him. He had a special ability. :p Seriously though, he was hunched over, don't know how he slept like that.

Sometimes I am so frustrated that my mind won't let me rest I'll wish someone would knock me unconscious. If there weren't health repercussions I'd have went that route.

Evening here, but I love nights.
I used to have awesome night talks with one of my friend we had just weird ideas and concepts about life and how things work in the world. I love the way night turns creativity in full swing. And we start thinking more creative ways.
