In a similar spirit to @Ophiolite : When I visited my daughter in Germany, the best food we had there was at a Turkish restaurant. So, does that count as Turkish or German? (I checked "others".)

Well, here in Germany we also have restaurants with these cookings:

Turkish, Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, Mexican, Arabian - and others.
Might be a topic for another poll once. :)

I selected Italian and French but I cook Italian much more often then French. I greatly prefer non-European cuisines (Vietnamese, Mexican, Thai, Japanese, all Middle Eastern, Indian.).

Do they have soft bones or do you just swallow them whole? Aren't they also fermented?

from what i've read they eat the yoke and white then the feathery, wrinkled, duck fetus, which includes the bones and beak i assume. I have never had it nor will I lol.

I saw somebody eat one on a TV show and I think he puked. It wasn't just a duck fetus but a fermented one. That's the real delicacy.

Simple idea:
Sourdough bread
balsamic vinegar
fresh rosemary
fresh thyme
garlic cloves

Make a sourdough bread (quite sour).
Balsamic vinegar - reduce to a glaze.

Partially char slices of the bread on a grill.
Whilst the bread is still hot - rub fresh thyme, rosemary and garlic over it (if you do it when it's still hot, it helps the oils of thyme/rosemary/garlic come out and into the bread).
Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top.

Simple idea:
Cherry tomatos
Red Pepper
Courgette
Garlic (I skin about 20 bulbs, food process them all and put them in a massive kilner jar with
Dried Thyme, rosemary, Ancho Chilli Flakes & Smoked paprika.
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar
Cast Iron pot.

Dice the pepper
Halve the tomatos
quater courgette lengthways, deseed and dice.
Add all to pot. pour olive oil. Added dried herbs and spice. Add diced garlic. Give good stir. drizzle balsamic vinegar in.

Oven - low heat for long time.
(180c fan assisted ???)

Olive oil some slices of proper bakery bread - toast.
eat the slow cooked veg with the toast. (I usually add a fresh mackerel fillet and salad as well)
