I'll tell you what I see. That those who decide to believe Jesus is the Messiah are his sheep. Those who deny him are the goats. The purpose is not to describe that a sheep is always a sheep or a goat always a goat.
So what comes first, being a sheep or believing?

I’ll stop you there. I never said that God got pleasure from crushing His Son. I quoted scripture.

You could liken it to a parent who disciplines his child. While it’s not pleasant on one hand, it is on the other because of the good that comes out of it.
You're missing the whole point of the Gospel. If you believe that the crucifixion is God's wrath on display, then you believe scripture is saying God crucified the Christ in His anger.

The crucifixion is not punishment given by a loving parent. It's a brutal display of horrific proportions carried out by the cruelty of godless souls. The cross is not a display of how angry God gets when we sin. The cross displays what God's Eternal Love endures through the forbearance of sin in this wicked world, unto His Glory. His Glory is not that He scorned and mocked and tortured sinners to death. It's that He endured scorners and mockers and torture from such sinners and yet still maintained His Eternal Loving Nature by forgiving them. Realizing that this is the Glory of God is how we come to worship Him in Truth, and it is how we are healed by his stripes. This is what the devil wants hidden and why he kills those who preached the Truth and Grace of God through the Gospel.

Look at this scripture:
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

I wonder because I see you here quite a lot. I work part time as a personal/healthcare assistant. That's why you see me here all the time.
I’m a trainer so I sit in the passenger seat most of the time.

Nope. God’s wrath is holy. He hates sin. So His wrath is because He loves His holiness.

But we had to celebrate and rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead and has begun to live, and was lost and has been found.’”
— Luke 15:32
You don’t think that was figurative? The son was gone and for all intents and purposes, he was dead as far as the father knew.

I believe simultaneously, if you mean "saving faith".
Jesus says His sheep hear His voice. Wouldn’t that indicate that one must be a sheep to hear Him?

I have never taken it figuratively in that way. I have seen it as symbolic for his eternal state. If the son had died as he was sleeping around with prostitutes, I doubt he had been saved. But I agree it's an parable and must be seen as such.

That's not the Gospel at all. The Gospel is about forgiving sin not crucifying sinners. Here is what Jesus preached about His Father, the Real Holy God.
23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.

29 And his fellow servant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

31 So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Okay. God doesn’t punish sin.

Oh wait…

Seriously, The Gospel is about forgiving sin, not crucifying sinners. Just look at the the Our Father prayer that Jesus taught us..

And the only way to forgive sin is to have Christ bear the punishment for sin. He became sin.

That is how it is with true believers, they hear Jesus and they follow him.
