If we’re going to use scripture to encourage right behavior we should be consistent. Emphasizing the consequences of non vaccination while ignoring your brother wolfing down his second burger isn’t evenhanded. There’s a lot of things people turn a blind eye to while touting one cause over the other.

And please remember this is the same government that: placed military personnel near atomic detonations to observe results of radiation contamination, additionally, experimented with minorities using injections, (here we go again), using bold face lying, to observe and make determinations on the effects of sexual transmitted diseases. Trust, should never be a word used when describing your relationship with the U.S. government.

No one follows anyone’s advice to the letter. We all pick and choose. To claim otherwise would imply you do everything God says, your pastor, doctor, parents, etc.

how many sick covid carriers have killed others?

the sick person riding the bus killed the bus driver
the sick workers at the nursing home where my mom is killed several residents
and on and on...

Are you demonstrating the same fervor to others with health struggles? That’s loving your neighbor. If the only topic that generates feedback is vaccines, that’s biased engagement, not love.

No one follows anyone’s advice to the letter. The bible says, a just man sins seven times daily. Which implies you aren’t doing something you should.

An absence of sin in one context doesn’t negate its presence elsewhere. If anyone has difficulty understanding why someone wouldn’t heed advice.

They needn’t look far. Just look in the mirror. Everyone does it.

The problem is people don’t agree with the decision and believe their disagreement is more important than the other’s right to choose.

If that’s the hill you’re standing on its fine. You’re entitled to your opinion. But it goes both ways. You can be subjected to similar disagreements and encouraged to change your mind.

Most people don’t want to be told what to do. Regardless of the side you’re on. They want to make their own decisions.

A health crisis doesn’t negate the truth.
