When a New Testament author quotes a verse from the Old Testament to show its fulfillment, is that something you do not understand?

Joh 19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.
Joh 19:35 And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you may believe.
Joh 19:36 For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, "NOT ONE OF HIS BONES SHALL BE BROKEN."
Joh 19:37 And again another Scripture says, "THEY SHALL LOOK ON HIM WHOM THEY PIERCED."

-----------------

Jer 31:31 "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah
Jer 31:32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the LORD.
Jer 31:33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
Jer 31:34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more."

Heb 8:6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.
Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.
Heb 8:8 Because finding fault with them, He says: "BEHOLD, THE DAYS ARE COMING, SAYS THE LORD, WHEN I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH—
Heb 8:9 NOT ACCORDING TO THE COVENANT THAT I MADE WITH THEIR FATHERS IN THE DAY WHEN I TOOK THEM BY THE HAND TO LEAD THEM OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT; BECAUSE THEY DID NOT CONTINUE IN MY COVENANT, AND I DISREGARDED THEM, SAYS THE LORD.
Heb 8:10 FOR THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS IN THEIR MIND AND WRITE THEM ON THEIR HEARTS; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
Heb 8:11 NONE OF THEM SHALL TEACH HIS NEIGHBOR, AND NONE HIS BROTHER, SAYING, 'KNOW THE LORD,' FOR ALL SHALL KNOW ME, FROM THE LEAST OF THEM TO THE GREATEST OF THEM.
Heb 8:12 FOR I WILL BE MERCIFUL TO THEIR UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE."
Heb 8:13 In that He says, "A NEW COVENANT," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

.

And many will never see that Jer 31:31 says that the NEW COVENANT is made with Israel and with Judah and does NOT say with the Body of Christ .

Verse 32 , the Old Covenant was made with Israel's Fathers , the ones Christ took out of Egypt .

OLD COVENANT means the Old Law of Moses which is also called OLD TESTAMENT .

The New Covenant is also called the NEW TESTAMENT .

OLD DIATHEKE , means Old Covenant

NEW DIATHEKE , means NEW TESTAMENT .

Who was Peter talking to on the Day of Pentecost, when about 3,000 from "all the house of Israel" came into the New Covenant through faith in Christ?

The Gentiles were not grafted into the Church until several years later.

Act 2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, "Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words.

Act 2:22 "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—

Act 2:36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."
Act 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"
Act 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."
Act 2:40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation."
Act 2:41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.

The only way to make your man-made doctrine work is by ignoring scripture, and the passage above is one example.

The word "water" is not in the text. You added that part.

The most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water, as proven by the scripture below. Many people are like you. They automatically see water when they read the word.

Luk 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Act 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

How much of the New Testament written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit is meant for us today?

Based on the scripture below, how important is the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer?

Luk 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Isa 63:11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?

Christ told Nicodemus nobody can enter the kingdom of God without being "born-again" of the Spirit of God. Based on the way Christ talked to Nicodemus, it was something Nicodemus should have known.

John the Baptist was indwelled by the Spirit in his mother's womb.
His mother and father also had the Spirit.

And in Luke 1:41 and read it again , as it says , " and Elisabeth was filled with Holy Spirit and not John .

John 3:3 is what I see in John 3:3 .

UNTO HIM /AUTOS is a Personal Possessive Pronoun , Dative Case

The Greek words UNTO THEE / SOI is also the same as above PPP

The Greek word EXCEPT /ME is a Disjunctive Particle Negative

The Greek words A MAN /TIS is an Indefinite Pronoun

The Greek BE BORN / GENNAO is in the Subjuctive Mood , WHY ??

The Greek word CANNOT /OV is a DISJUCTIVE PARTICLE NEGATIVE .

The Greek word CANNOT means that no one that is not BORN AGAIN will never see the Kingdom of God .

The question than is DOES everyone have to be BORN AGAIN /

Was ADAM and EVE than noT see the Kingdom of God ??

Are they LOST ?

Are they saved ??

What say you ??????

The Greek word UNTO/SOI is also a Personal Possessive Pronoun

The Greek word EXCEPT / ME is a Disdjuctive Particle Negative

And I will mention 2 things that all people fail to see .

And in Luke 1:15 it reads , and he ( John ) shall be filled with Holy Spirit

The Greek text reads he SHALL BE FILLED , with Holy Spirit .

The Greek word THE is not in the Greek text .

Also the Greek words , HE SHALL BE FILLED / PIMPLEMI is in the FUTURE TENSE , PASSIVE VOICE and in the INDICATIVE MOOD .

When the Greek article " the " is not used , it means that when JOHN'S was filled with the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT and not the INDWELLING of the HOLY SPIRIT .like what Paul wrote in 1 Cor 12:13 .

Also notice that the Greek word NEITHER is a DISJUNCTIVE PARTICLE NEGATIVE in another way od saying that HE NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRR Ever drank WINE nor Strong Drink .

Israel was always greatly valued by God and God will not forget promises made to Israel.

Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it.

Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it.

.
And then we SHOULD have seen Israel in ALL their LAND promised to the 12 Tribes .

We would have also seen the 12 apostles sitting on 12 THRONES and also seen King David sitting on his Throne and also see all the Jews that were resurrected .
