Personally I don’t believe anything is bad but they might have evil spirit in them, which makes them act evil ways. As bible says evil spirits can move in animals as they can move in people.
This is true, as demonstrated by the pigs that ran into the water when Jesus delivered the man of his demons. It's one of those things I probably won't fully understand until I get to Heaven.

Much of what we see in animals, Fisher of Men, is a nature given to them for their purpose on earth by God; and He uses them in certain ways at times. The Bible ref. to animal natures in man is symbolic to illustrate a thing God wants us to think about and how it might be displayed, I see (some for good and other as not good). I do not see such as 'evil spirit' in ANY animals, but a nature for which they were placed on earth. We do see such similar natures in man at times ---for good or bad, I have observed over my many years.

I do believe there can be animals with evil spirits and some that are pure. Not all species are one way but individual animals of any species can have the possibility of an evil spirit and some be simply pure and of their own nature. If it can happen to people where they had to deliver demons out of people in Jesus day do you think demons play fair and stay away from animals? I think a lot more goes on in the invisible spiritual realm than some care to acknowledge or even notice.

One can look at animals anyway they want, but I do not see evil spirits in animals, or see ANY Scripture saying that. God may put a bad spirit in an animal to achieve His purposes before man at a time, but I don't see ANY Scripture showing an animal can be possessed by Satan. God alone manages His animal kingdom, I see. Satan is ONLY a "beguiler" of man as God shows (and cannot touch man, being only a master at deceit of the mind).

Even poisonous snakes and such, have a place as God has provided in His wilderness ---so I stay clear (or guardingly) in a wilderness.

There will come a day when all the knowledge man thought they had will pale in comparison to the truth and events that happened spiritually all around us while on Earth. It may be that you do not see animals with evil spirits, but it also may be that I have seen animals with evil spirits. Who then is right? One day we will know for sure. Is it a salvation matter? No. Is it a matter of people expressing their opinions based on experiences? Yes.

I have my experiences you have yours.

As far as scripture goes right off the bat there's the one with JESUS sending the evil spirits into pigs, so right there is one verse, and second when Satan appeared as a snake to Eve, there's another. Also just thought of a third when the Egyptian magicians turned their staffs into snakes what about that?

You just described what I already said about God USING animals as HE chooses and allowing animals to accomplish HIS purposes. Why not just leave biblical debates to other sites, and just enjoy what we have here in God's wondrous kingdom as I described?
Your thoughts might fit on some other sites, Fisher, but not here ---this is a Club I formed for the enjoyment of God's animal world. Let us leave off Satan's effects on the world, here at this site. Good-by!

Lately I have enjoyed watching 'Animal Planet' on TV, and the site about Veterinarians, and find it most interesting about those who seek the good, and care for God's creatures. It is most disturbing when I hear of those who harm animals just for fun --and no doubt they will suffer the wrath of God along their path of life. It is most interesting how some animals seem to enjoy the care and presence of man, and recognize our ability to provide care for them.

Temp things would be fine then. There are dogs at least, that go to hospitals. Are you in a hospital or at home? I would still believe, or may think, that there are people with healing pets, or I can't think of them right now, but they go to hospitals, and things like that to comfort dying people. Maybe, Therapy animals? they visit, with their owners, but you wouldn't have to take care of them. and u wouldn't own them.

I'm at home. Yah, something where they come to me and then go home---they don't get too attached. I have a friend with a black Lab and he and my old husky were just the best of buds. She would bring him over a lot when I had my Husky. She still brings him over sometimes when she comes to visit. But the COVID thing hit and I didn't get to see her very often. A therapy dog would be great----but nobody is going to bring one to just one old lady. They visit a hospital and see many people. I(t's a lot of work to get the animal ready. nd going to a hospital, and then coming to see me---don't think that would be too wise---for health reasons, I'm compromised as it is.

Hello Rat Fancier here!

I'm also hoping to become a mouse fancier as well. If you have any questions please ask me via comments or PM. Below are my rats Apollo and Artemis. They are standard, black eyed, black/white, hooded, top-eared rats of the genus Rattus norvegicus domestica (Berkenhout, 1769).

I will be praying for you, dear one! Keep looking up to our God --in Jesus Christ, our Savior. -1watchman

Adding a thought here: If you inquire to the city, they might arrange for a Kennel to send you a dog free for companion. They sometimes to that for us elderly souls. -1watchman.

The thing is I can't have an animal bond with me and then for me to up and die and leave them devastated. I'm in hospice, at home, with heart and other problems.

I do not think you need to worry about that. Friends, neighbors, anyone who would handle things in your departure, can be asked to care for the animal, or see that it finds a good home, if you should be called up to our Savior: the Lord Jesus. Some dogs are trained to be helpers to disabled people --a real blessing! You can inquire about that with your physician or the city. Keep looking up, for our God cares.

I don't think anyone here has had pet snakes??? I suppose one might keep one in a barrel, as my older brother did many years ago, and enjoyed watching his behavior ---mostly killing mice and eating them ---though my brother was a bit weird that way, I think.

I had an older brother like that, also. He, too, thought it fun to feed mice to the snakes. Weird is not the right word----SICK is!!!

True. And I have been amazed how caring dogs can be. And how easily they sense things happening around them. I have over ten years old chihuahua and When I had depression (years ago)
and had anxiety I started crying (just silently) in my bed, my dog was under my bed and he came to me and wanted me to get him up in the bed with me so he could comfort me. He licked my face and just curled up himself close to me, just like saying ”you are not alone”
Every time this happened he wanted to come to comfort me.
Dogs really do care people. Sometimes I think do they care more than actual people? Hope not :)
