Praise the Lord even when you are going through some ordeal or predicament:

• “Come, bless the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, who stand by night in the house of the LORD! Lift up your hands to the holy place and bless the LORD! May the LORD bless you from Zion, he who made heaven and earth!” (Psalms 134.1-3).

First of all: who stand by night in the house of the Lord? The doorkeepers (1Chronicles 9.24) and the singers (1Chronicles 9.33). Why is this Psalm specially dedicated to them?

• “my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.” (Psalms 130.6).

Considering that, in that time, it there is no electric light and paved roads, the places were very dangerous along the night. In this case, the instruction was to stay with their hand lifted up to the holy place blessing the Lord.

Instead of only abiding by their tasks, they should stick around praising the Creator and praying. That is to say, rather than to keep still, they must digress their eyes from their obligation to the privilege of seeing to what was necessary so that the worship to the Creator stay firm amid many gaieties.

Have a magnificent day in Christ Jesus joyously praising Him in all that He give us to do, even though what His behest for us seems a little tiresome or hazardous. After all, the order is:

• “Therefore I solemnly witness before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is going to judge the living and the dead according to His appearance and His kingdom, preach the Word, *be instant in season and out of season*, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.” (2Tim 4.1,2).
