In my Bible -- the NET 2.1 -- "saints" isn't capitalized ever.
When referring to St. Ronald or St. Donald or St. Louis, it is capitalized.

Do we have to be so 'by the book' all the time? I think it inhibits learning, unless it's *wildly* off topic, to the point it becomes a nuisance or is a deliberate derail.

The subject of the OP is "muslim-free gun range closes down" (with muslim not capitalized). cow451 wants to discuss whether "saints" should be capitalized. It's *wildly* off-topic.

Oh that is so clever of you! How off-topic can you get?

Did you know that people often say that cows have four stomachs?

I did not bring up “saints”.

Remember you started the derail. I’ve simply responded. Why not move it along if it concerns you.

Why not move it along if it concerns you? I didn't derail the discussion into discussing punctuation, you did.

When somebody cares enough about the topic, won't they start talking about it?

...Nobody is stopping them.

Why cause problems for the sake of the rules... When the rules only exists to serve us.

I wish my heart was as big as yours... It's just not.
Based upon your next response I'm wondering if the problem isn't your heart, but the number of interconnected neurons you have. Your following post points in that direction.
It means that since we vaccinated people can't get more than the sniffles from COVID, I can't understand why vaccinated people are willing to wear a mask for those who rejected the vaccine? I just don't share that level of compassion, and I struggle to understand how anyone else does... Seriously.
What makes you think that being vaccinated against Covid ensures you will get "no more than the sniffles"? Are you just not paying attention? Vaccination greatly reduces all the risks in comparison with not being vaccinated. It does not eliminate them. And that includes your ability to contract the virus, be asymptomatic, shed viral particles and infect others.

And, seriously, you can't take the minor inconvenience of wearing a mask to reduce the risk that you kill one of your friends, family or casual stranger? That doesn't require a level of compassion. That just requires basic human decency.

Nobody who has been vaccinated is being hospitalized, besides the 'one-in-a-million' that they warned us about.

...The point is that the unvaccinated openly reject our help. Would you also recessitate someone with a DNR tag? Of course not! We have to respect their wishes.

Well untill a new vaccine resistant version develops amongst the unvaccinated, and then we might be back in this mess.

Nonsense. A quick search online will reveal you are grossly mistaken. Most of the vaccinated will avoid infection. Most of those vaccinated who do become infected will not become seriously ill, requiring hospitilisation, most of those who are vaccinated, infected and hospitalised will not die. In English "most" means "very many, but not all".

Your dismissal of wearing a mask is endangering everyone: vaccinated, non-vaccinated, Republicans, Democrats, men, women, centenarians and new-born children. Wise up.

Baloney. You have no evidence that covid is any more harmful than the common cold to those who are vaccinated... Because there is no such evidence... Wise up yourself, and please stop spreading misinformation. When you deny the science, it only causes more problems.

Or until a massive asteroid collides with earth, or until the planet self-ignites.

What I'm saying is that there is no scientific evidence that the virus can or will ever mutate and bypass the RNA type vaccines. It's pure speculation.

Here is a quote from the CDC, the Center for Disease Control. You know, the ones who do the science you claim I am denying. It turns out I am the one quoting the science. You are the one spreading misinformation. Feel free to apologise.
"Vaccine breakthrough cases are expected. COVID-19 vaccines are effective and are a critical tool to bring the pandemic under control. However, no vaccines are 100% effective at preventing illness in vaccinated people. There will be a small percentage of fully vaccinated people who still get sick, are hospitalized, or die from COVID-19."

It only proves my point. That Covid is just as lethal to the vaccinated as the common cold is to the general population.

Right. No apology. Stubborn indifference. Twisted interpretation. Thank you for your time.
