I don't know what it was, but it was a bummer because I used to like Left 4 Dead 2 and that was one of the ones that first started making me feel physically ill after I'd play it for about twenty minutes. I think it might have something to do with my psych meds because before I was diagnosed and on meds, it didn't happen but it definitely happens now if I try to play a game as far back as xbox 360. I can play stuff like Wolfenstein 3D and Ultimate Doom without any problems though.
Multiplayer shooting games have a lot of quick movement. Not too surprising it could make someone feel sick. It's nice the older games don't have that effect. I think it'd be hard for me to give up gaming entirely.

Animal Crossing New Horizons is very pretty but also a disappointment. Dear Nintendo, please remake New Leaf for Switch with some of the quality of life changes (choosing where villagers move) and updated graphics. I'll pay you another $60. Please!

New Horizons was my first entry in the series. I put in a lot of hours and had a good time with it. However, it boggles my mind that Brewster's Cafe hasn't been added in. If they can't fit it on the main island then just give Brewster an island. Gamers want their coffee selling pigeon.

I know there is other stuff Nintendo hasn't put in from past games. Some of those changes or exclusions confuse me too. What really frustrated me though was that Redd appears randomly. I kept hoping to see him to collect all the paintings. He wasn't there. That soured me on the game a bit.

I'm sure some of the exclusion of items comes from us being able to place items outside but I think it easily could've been fixed with a distinction between outdoor and indoor furniture. Maybe make crafted items outdoor or indoor but the Nooks sell indoor items only or something like that. The shop only upgrading once is a bummer. I miss the police station, too. I also don't understand why we can't customize all the furniture since it all comes in different colors but you can only ever buy one color per save file. Plus, I feel like the music is really lacking in variety compared to earlier installments.

That all said I do have high hopes for the next installment. The Animal Crossing series has seemed to ebb and flow from game to game at least in my opinion. Ex: the original was good but Wild World was better. Then City Folk was a step back but New Leaf was amazing. So if that trend continues the next installment will probably be the best yet. We'll see!

Those seem like simple enough fixes. It is strange to me that Nintendo hasn't done more of what people want. Adding in more music shouldn't be that difficult. They could probably fill a whole secondary island with places like the police station and Club LOL. Maybe they have technical limitations they don't want to talk about that prevent it?

What I hope is they are hard at work on the next game and that is the reason they haven't done more. Like you said, following their past history, the sequel could be amazing. They already have a great graphics engine. It doesn't need any major changes.

I really wish Nintendo would release all mainline/console Zelda games on 1 system, my Wii U isn't going to last forever.

I wish that Nintendo would do this with most of their properties, save for the Mario games because there were simply too many of them to reasonably do that.

I also wish that Nintendo would make a proper sequel to Kid Icarus. Uprising was not my bag

I am all for games being available for modern audiences to experience. The Fatal Frame series is one I never played. The remaster has me considering giving it a shot. I'd like to see Luigi's Mansion 1 & 2 on Switch also. That would make a great combo pack. The third game was a lot of fun but I haven't beaten the first two.

RE3 Remake had the superb graphics engine of RE2 Remake that everyone praised and similarities with being chased by a monster. Had the game contained more content I think it would have been a critical and fan favorite like RE2 Remake. Releasing it a year after the last remake added more fuel to the fire that it was "rushed".

A fun game is still a fun game but it's a shame the conversation became negative. Nintendo has put themselves in a similar pickle with Mario Golf: Super Rush. Rather than release a game with a lot of maps, they are putting them out gradually as free content post-launch. The game appears lazy because people are deprived of some of the best work done by the developers till a later date. It's like if you went to an art show launch and there was all these empty walls that said, "Come back later to see this great piece."

Skyward Sword Zelda might be my favorite. I haven't beat all the games though so take that with a grain of salt. I really like the character of Groose and that he gets a redemption in the latter half of the game. Ghirahim works well as an over the top villain. The story, characters, and visuals are the best part of Skyward Sword.

However, I would hesitate to recommend this game to anyone that wants a walk in the park experience. There are many dungeons with lots of puzzles. Without being able to look things up online I doubt I would have finished what is one of the longer Zelda entries. Fighting the enemies ranges from satisfying to frustrating, particularly with the bosses.

Surprisingly enough, that's the way a lot of games are launching now. They'll release games that aren't even thoroughly debugged in order to make money, but usually this is not a problem coming from Nintendo's end, but more having to do with "mature games for mature gamerz" on the Xbox and PlayStation, as well as PC.

That's true that Nintendo games rarely have any glitches. Lately though Nintendo party/sports games have been controversial. Super Mario Party had the least amount of boards for a Mario Party game. Everyone expected free or DLC boards based on that and it never showed up. Nintendo might not care since it still sold the most of any Mario Party game. But it could have raked in more money without that negative discussion.

Some game companies can get greedy.

I beat RE3 Remake. The best part is how Nemesis evolves over the course of the game. Because people said it was so short I kept expecting it to be over and then Nemesis would come back with another transformation.

Did you really open the barrel and say random thoughts? Well, here we go....

The lamps in video games are using real electricity.

The V-tuber Amelia Watson of Hololive was recently added as an announcer for the game Paladins (great hero shooter game, btw) and can be unlocked for free by playing five games.

I really want to see playable Disney Characters in future Kingdom Hearts games, and maybe some keyblades and KH outfits for them as well. Elsa would look awesome in a the Kingdom Hearts style.

It has been surmised that in the story mode of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the battle between the odd entities that represent order and chaos are in fact a subtle reference to the oppressive order of the corporation that squeezed the life out of the beloved Nintendo characters and the chaotic and demanding fanbase, and that the original creator, who was unwillingly brought back to produce another game in the franchise, designed them as a metaphor for both the corporative and fan-base abuse of beloved characters, who are caught amidst the drama. But hey, that's just a theory, a g... ah, you know.

Somebody really should make a game like Smash Bros on Steam that uses the Steam Workshop to allow people to easily create and upload the characters they want, so we can finally get that fight between Thanos, Reaper Nurse, Gubble, and Shrek.

In the original Gubble game, if you found the source files you could edit all the enemies in MS Paint (as I did when I was little), as they were literally just JPEG images that had several frames that they rotated through.

Famed YouTube gamer Coryxkenshin is a Christian who posts Bible verses at the ends of all his videos. He also has a really cool-guy kind of aura and isn't a total dork, which considering that he is a Christian, a gamer, and a weeaboo all in one, is a miracle in and of itself.

The parental argument "You can't make a living playing video games" is now obsolete due to YouTubers and streamers. Pewdiepie, literally one of the most famous people in the world and on the internet, got there playing video games. Now parents have to listen to their kids talk about being a YouTuber when they grow up.

In the Minecraft mod Grimoire of Gaia, the Siren mob will have an alternate skin at Halloween time which resembles the character Miia from the anime Monster Musume (an anime which edges very close to a he:confused:tai with its levels of fanservice, so I can't entirely recommend. Even if the characters are pretty loveable.)

Jump Force doesn't have Satanichia Kurumizawa McDowell. But it should.:(

Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach has special voice lines that Freddy says when you bring him to certain areas. You lore miners might want to look out for those.

Markiplier is one of the only YouTubers who loved Lady Dimitrescu after her transformation. A true lesson in not looking at the outward appearance. :unbelievable:

Apparently there are villagers in Animal Crossing who left because of the "night clowns". Yeah, I'm as afraid as you are.

The game Ninjabread Man boasts 3 levels, one of which is the tutorial, and most of the game was cloned 3 whole times to make other games, including Anubis the Second (there never was an Anubis 1, and the title was a marketing ploy to make people think it was from a franchise), Trixie in Toyland, and Rock-and-Roll Adventures. Why they cloned the game, I have no idea, as it was poorly made in every respect. I actually played Ninjabread Man when I was a kid and got it from Blockbuster (yes, we can dispense with "okay, boomer"). Let me just say, the joy of Blockbuster was that you were supposed to return things, and never was I happier to return a game and rent something actually good in its place.
