I think I'll be in my eighties, so I've probably got about 20 years to go. That's my thought on the matter.
I think I've been given a subtle hint or two about it, but only time will actually tell. A lot can happen in 20 years. I expect some wars for a start, close by and far away.
I also know for a fact that life is eternal, but I also know for a fact there's a judgement. I've often claimed the night my father died, he turned up in my room. We argued and conversed, but at the end he gave this absolutely terrifying scream and then disappeared into eternity. I still remember most of the proceedings, and that was over 40 years ago.
He was only 55 incidentally, but an alcoholic. My sister was only 45 when she died, but I wasn't surprised as my old Presbyterian pastor said "I don't think your sister will live very long. I think she'll get leukemia." That was circa 1990/91 when he made the prediction, and she died in 2005, US Independence Day incidentally (mind you I'm Australian, not American).
Sure enough he was right, as usual. My mother lived till her eighties, and I think, God willing, I'll live a similar time on earth. Then will come my own judgement, and either Heaven via Purgatory, or Hell (hopefully not).
Further predictions of the pastor yet to eventuate are "I think you'll move to Keperra. You'll try to catch up with some people (relations, past church people), but I'll think it'll be a bit late. Then I think you'll move to Belmont. That's when all this trouble will start." Keperra and Belmont are suburbs in Brisbane. Obviously my own will and decision would be involved, but I think he might have pre-empted my decisions in a sense.
Whether that all happens is up in the air at the moment, but I've made no plans to do either. They depend on another prediction of his happening, which I'll keep to myself.
But I think "all this trouble" will come anyway, just as Covid-19 occurred whether we liked it or not. He was very accurate, so accurate that the only way he could have known some things was if God was telling him. There could be some interesting years ahead of us.
