I suspect is it misspoken, not an actual claim. A Freudian slip. Because the phrase speed of light and speed of sound are so commonly use it is not unthinkable to make that mistake.

Well I'm pretty aware of Australia, we're not that far apart geographically Malaysia and Australia, at least we're closer to each other than say the US. I just wasn't aware you are one until I have posted and read your profile again.
We both have prime ministers PM for short and we both are part of the British Commonwealth.
