Do you wear a seatbelt when you drive? Does your car have airbags? Side-impact beams? Anti-lock breaks?
Yeah, and it still is more dangerous than getting Covid.

Doesn't protect the pedestrian you accidently run over. Maybe driving cars isn't worth the cost in lives it kills every year world wide.

Oh? I would prefer driving to work every day to having COVID. I wish some of the nut job road rangers could get vaccinated against stupidity.

Ok, let me say it a different way. "What is your point in asking if I wear a seatbelt etc."

Driving a car does have certain risk associated with it. Hence there are various precautions put in place to minimize injury and death, as I mentioned.

Similarly one can take precautions against contracting and/or spreading COVID-19. E.g. vaccines, masks, social distancing, etc.

In the end, it's about reducing relative risk of harm to ourselves and others.

That was admittedly in poor taste.

But there is certainly a risk associated with driving especially with humans behind the wheel. I do welcome a future of self-driving cars and/or other advances in public transportation.

That doesn't do anything to save the lives that are at risk now from the dangers of driving and motor vehicles. Should we not value life more than any other concern?

6 companies now control over 90% of the media and these companies send their teams to meet with the CIA every year and plot out the agenda. Event 201 involved the WHO Bill Gates, D=CDC Imperial college who did a war game simulation for a covid virus taking over the world 3 months before the virus showed up. Fauci is on record as saying there was a 100% chance of a pandemic during the the Trump term. Now we have not had a pandemic since WW! and now Fauci is right there is a pandemic. But they had to change the definition of what a pandemic was for it to qualify otherwise this would have went on record as a normal flu season. Now as we go forward we see all the basic questions of follow the money pointing their fingers back to the architects who also are heavily invested in testing , vaccines, and a digital tracking device. This is an end game scenario and this is Dan 8 a sinister scheme.
Seeing the handfull of fruits to date, though without citation, I am very much inclined to agree.

Half of vaccinated Canadians say they’re ‘unlikely’ to spend time around those who remain unvaccinated
Why didn't they title the piece
Half of vaccinated Canadians say they’re ‘likely’ to spend time around those who remain unvaccinated.

Would there be an agenda in choosing the half that they did and ignoring the other half?

Most of my friends are vaccinated. The chief exceptions are two toddlers and an infant at church, because they're too young. I wear a mask when I'm near them and try to stay six feet away, to help keep them safe.

The old you can't draw a bright line therefore any distinction is invalid trap! Nice try, Ig.
Can you draw any line at all? If the amount of deaths per year as a result of cars and other motor vehicles on the road is an acceptable loss, that must give us some indication of the amount of deaths we as a society are willing to tolerate. For what reason are we willing to then tolerate those deaths by car crashes or pedestrian collisions? Likely because we want to maintain a modern economy.

If the percentage of deaths due to Corona is less than a percent of the population and even then you need to factor in things like age, weight and autoimmune diseases, is it at least understandable why people might not feel the need to get a vaccine?

How many cylinders does this gun have? Do you drive to work every day?
You use a revolver for Russian Roulette? I use a semi-auto like a real man.

Normal person: Let's play Russian roulette.

Pro-vaxx Person: That's not the stupidest idea you've ever had, but at least you're consistent.

My variation…

Normal person: Let's play Russian roulette.

Pro-vaxx Person: Hold muh beer and watch this!

I saw this earlier today while browsing comments below an article:

Pro-vaxx Person: Why are you being so selfish?

Normal Person: How am I being selfish?

Pro-vaxx Person: Because if you get Covid you can pass it on to me.

Normal Person: But you've been vaccinated.

Pro-vaxx Person: Yeah, but I can still get it.

Normal Person: So if I get vaccinated I can still get it too.

Pro-vaxx Person: Yeah, but you should still get it cos then you won't pass it on to me.

Normal Person: But if I get vaccinated I can still get it and pass it on to you.

Pro-vaxx Person: Yeah, but you should still do it.

Normal Person: But you can catch it off me whether I've been vaccinated or not.

Pro-vaxx Person: Yeah, but you should still get vaccinated.

Normal Person: But why?

Pro-vaxx Person: Cos it's the right thing to do.

Normal Person: Who says?

Pro-vaxx Person: The people that make it.
Funny. From where I’m sitting, the vaccinated are the normal ones. Of most everyone I know well, only a handful are still holding out on getting their shots.

No one, out of all the people I know who’ve had the vaccine, not one has had any adverse reaction outside of the normal sore arm and fatigue or mild fever for about a day.
