"I don't own slaves, I just happen to live in a society that revolves around and profits from slavery and don't object to that in any way. How dare you call me pro-slavery!"
That is faulty logic at best.
First, someone has to completely ignore the vast majority of Americans at the time who fought against slavery.
Second, someone has to completely ignore the vast majority of wealth that was generated from Northern Industrial state - who did not own slaves and from a financial viewpoint out performed the Southern slave owning states somewhere around 400% in generating wealth.
Third, No one in modern day America "profits from slavery", simply because slavery has not existed for more than 150 years.
Fourth, someone has to completely ignore the 200 or so exclusively
black cities that were founded and in many instances thrived after the civil war.
Fifth, someone has to completely ignore the tens of millions of white people who immigrated to the US in the last 150 years, who had even less to do with slavery because THEY WERE NOT HERE.
Sixth, someone has to completely ignore all the advances people of every race have made in more than a century and a half of working together to right the wrongs of the past.
Seventh, someone has to completely ignore the millions who have stood with blacks in speaking out against racism publicly and privately.
How dare someone call them 'pro-slavery' solely based on the color of their skin.
Last I looked when an entire race of people is judged solely on the color of their skin - there is a word for that.
Lastly, the greatness that built America today is the many becoming one. People from all over the Earth coming together and becoming Americans. It is out Unity that makes us powerful -
