I pray for your brother and his wife. Dear Father bless, heal and protect them in Jesus name.

Sorry to hear that your brother is having issues, it is terrible to have to deal with the struggling of someone you love and see them have troubles like this. Hope for you and your family, Psalm 27, and may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the holy spirit be with you friend.

May the Father sustain you in your affliction of suffering with your family.

Within the Orthodox tradition, this long prayer / hymn is recited in combat of alcoholism. I think there is nothing in it, which could not be theologically reconciled with other Christian denominations, so maybe you should give it a try!

I pray that God would heal your brother mentally and physically, taking away his gout, his addiction to alcohol, and his feelings of despair.

Update on our brother...he lost a lot of weight, and has cut down on the wine.
He does drink beer, but its not as strong. His gout is better...so thankyou so much for your prayers.
deliverance is needed across the family, from various addictions, to be honest.
We all seem to have something that we're struggling with, whether it's a substance, bitterness or anxiety.

Father, thank You that You are Jehovah Rapha and the great deliverer. I pray for a divine touch on this family. Thank You that You are healing them and watching over them. Thank You for the improvements with her brother and please continue to work in his life and in Psalm's life, drawing them close to You. In Jesus Name, Amen.
