Dear ones,
Let us pause to reflect what we have heard:

“But concerning brotherly love you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;”
‭‭I Thessalonians‬ ‭4:9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Do we think that there is no need for God to teach us to love one another ?

When our Lord said :
"But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, -Luke 6:27
bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. -Luke 6:28

After we heard our Lord said, do we now think, that we need to be taught to love one another ?

So dear ones,
concerning this brotherly love, we need to consider what we are taught by God to love one another. Though apostle Paul have no need to write the church of God in Thessalonians because they have perceived what God has taught them. But dear ones,
have we all perceived what God has taught to love one another ?

Dear ones, those who have perceived concerning this brotherly love, that God has taught, please share, for we heard:

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, -Hebrews 10:24

To God be all glory and thanksgiving. Amen.

The word of God teaches us all things necessary for faith and practice, and the theme is love ... for the most part, and judgment for the rest. Jesus is the Word, and the Word is Jesus. We have a great High Priest who is the Word of God and who is active and powerful and who pierces to bone and marrow to the very thoughts and intents of the heart. I am the Way, the Truth and the Life no man comes to the Father but by Me. Father sanctify them with Thy Truth Thy Word is Truth. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God ...

This is why we are commanded to "Keep on habitually proving all things over and over again as a habit and way of life and hold fast to what is good ... and not to our beliefs. And why we are to be habitual manual laborers laboring to cut-straight all that the Word of God has to say. On this basis alone we will either stand ashamed before God or be approved by Him.

Interestingly there is not one passage on "reading" the bible, study, examine, prove all things over and over again, alter our beliefs to fit what fits perfectly with every other passage of scripture on each topic, holding fast to a meaning consistent with everything God, God's people and God's word says and does and consistent with everything they don't say and don't do. Hold to a consistent meaning for words, terms, the context, the flow of thought ... use logic and reason to think things through... Yes, if we are willing, we can each be taught by God Himself. And yes, that includes how to love.

Dear one,
For we heard:
(Love) does not rejoice in iniquity,
but rejoices in the truth;-‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭13:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

So dear one, what bring joy to our love in union with Christ is the truth.

Dear one, what truth, that we have heard. This is what we have heard:

“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”‭‭II Thessalonians‬ ‭2:9-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

So dear one,
Let us receive the love of the truth.

Dear one, it is right for us to consider how we might receive the love of truth, that we might be saved.

This is what we have heard:
“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.””
‭‭John‬ ‭8:31-32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

So dear one, let us abide in Christ’s words, and we shall know the truth of His love, and the truth of His love shall bring us joy, that His love set us free from iniquities.

Dear one, what we should do with the freedom that Christ gave us.

This is the truth that we have heard:

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Also, we heard:
“For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Dear one, let stand in the truth of His love, that Christ has made us free, not to be entangled with bondage of sin but let us liberty as an opportunity through the love of Christ, serve one another.

So dear one, when we receive the truth of Christ’s love, when we abide in His words.
When we abide in His words, we stand in the truth of His love.
When we stand in the truth of His love, we use the liberty through the love of Christ, to serve one another. When we abide in the truth of His love, this is the promise that we have heard:

“Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:23-24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Dear one, let us be those who love Christ, and abide in His words. And find ourselves in the love of our Heavenly Father, and that the Father and the Son come to us, and make Their home with us.

For love rejoices in this truth. Dear one, when we rejoice in this truth, we rejoice in the love of the Father in union with Christ Jesus.

May God’s grace be with our spirits. To the praise of the glory of His grace by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved, Christ Jesus, the Son of God. Amen.
