Forget the Public Schools....teach your kids at home! Safer in EVERY WAY!
Yes but there is a catch. Their future will only be doable if they are taught at home to be a part of the system just as schools have done since WWII. You see how little use it has for free thinkers on the internet, calling them all conspiracy theorists or simply cancelling their voices. Those outside the system will not have it easy. Ask anyone in history (starting with Jesus) that followed the counter-culture of the Kingdom rather than the institutionalized religion of man.

Leaning toward Catholic school, actually.
Might be a good idea. My brother in law who is a Muslim, sent his children to Catholic school. Even though it is obviously a different religion, he felt at least they believe in God and have a moral underpinning.

California schools will open schools for in-person instruction this fall — but only to students who will wear a mask.

According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, the state released guidelines Monday for a return to campus, which require California’s K-12 students to wear masks inside school buildings.
Students who refuse, with the exception of those covered under some narrow health- and disability-related exemptions, can be kicked off campus, and another form of education provided to them.
Good! I'm glad CA's doing everything they can to keep children , parents and elderly people safe. Sadly some people don't. CA is very populated . If parents don't want to keep other students safe, by mask wearing . There's online learning, private schools.

seems strange to require fully vaccinated students to wear masks though, doesn't it?

"In adolescents age 12–15 years, efficacy was 100% in the clinical trial."
They aren't fully vaccinated at all. Most parents are refusing to allow this. So no they haven't been COVID -19 vaccination.

We did it with our 5 kids....it worked well. Our oldest daughter is now a NP in TN, our 2nd daughter is a Firemman, our oldest son builds houses and drives semi, our youngest son has a very successful tree removal business and our youngest daughter spent 5 years in the Coast Guard, and is now an RN. None of them are living off the Govt. They are all very hard workers and very independent.

homeschool isn't answer for everyone

our child did the online option this past year & can't wait to get back in person

she's sociable & enjoys helping other students
she received character award two different school years
(difficult to get as they give few out)

she said no to homeschooling when I wanted to during the younger years as did husband
I think because she's an only child that going in person is more important

That was the hard part, not alot of social things going on for the kids...but over all, it was still the best solution for us....there is no perfect option. :)
