I watched the video. Starting here, you stated that you believe the events of Revelation are in the past. I would like to see a detailed scriptural exposition as to why you think this is the case.

That is quite the feature. However will suggest to you that while I can not articulate the revelation fully at this moment in time. I do believe that the letter was for a generation that has came and passed. The 7 churches had all of the revelation to look at and not just bits and pieces. If you would like to do research you are more than welcome to so if you feel inclined. For me to go chapter 1 through 22, would take a very long time and it all has to do be done and couched in context, along with understanding when it was written, the audience, and the background history. My belief is that the return of Christ happened in 70ad. Though it is very possible for me to be wrong and understand that this view will take away of any hope that they had in 'seeing' the return of Christ unfold in their life. My belief is that Christ Jesus is here with us now, and at the end of our life you, me, we will go and see Him on our judgement day when we leave and take our final breathe as the Lord God Almighty. Our hope is still in the resurrection after this life in the objective truth about the Life, death, burial and resurrection of Christ Jesus our Lord, and the Son of God, by faith.
