Matthew 4:4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’”

Deuteronomy 8:3 So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.

Mark 12: 28And one of the scribes came and heard them arguing, and recognizing that He had answered them well, asked Him, “What commandment is the foremost of all?” 29Jesus answered, “The foremost is, ‘HEAR, O ISRAEL! THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD; 30AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.’ 31“The second is this, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” 32And the scribe said to Him, “Right, Teacher, You have truly stated that HE IS ONE; AND THERE IS NO ONE ELSE BESIDES HIM; 33AND TO LOVE HIM WITH ALL THE HEART AND WITH ALL THE UNDERSTANDING AND WITH ALL THE STRENGTH, AND TO LOVE ONE’S NEIGHBOR AS HIMSELF, is much more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

We can sow commitments, in prayer, inside ourselves, and trust how God is able to have us keeping these commitments.

For example, Jesus says,

"if you love those who love you, what reward have you?" in Matthew 5:46.

So, I offer to God in prayer, how He is able to have me love any and all people the way He wants, and not have love idols and favoritism for people I want to use.

What is your process for "sowing" ? Do you use your spirit/mind?

First, there is trusting God to guide me to sow what He wants me to sow.

What I say or write, about God, can be what I am sowing . . . trusting God to use it however He pleases.

And I give money. That is sown for however God will make my giving good for people.

In my mind I think prayers for people, sowing them for God to bless people.

And I speak prayers.

And a basic, spiritually, is I submit to God for however He pleases to guide me in His peace and spread His grace through me to others.

How do you sow to the Spirit?
Dear one, This is what we have heard:

He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. -2 Corinthians 9:10 ESV

Dear one,
we are enabled to sow to the Spirit, because God supplies the seed, that is, the word of God.

For we heard:
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. -Luke 8:11

Dear one,
are you concerned how you might receive the supply of the word of God ? This is what we have heard:

Does He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith' -Galatians 3:5

Dear one, you may say here is written that He supplies the Spirit, not the seed. Dear one, this is what we have heard:

When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come. -John 16:13
He will glorify me, for He will take what is mine and declare it to you. -John 16:14
All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you. -John 16:15

Dear one, for we have heard that the Spirit or the Holy Spirit, that He will take what is Christ is, and declare the words that Christ have spoken to us. All the Father, God has, that is, the Word of God belong to Christ, therefore Christ said that the Holy Spirit will take what is Christ’s and declare to us.

So dear one, we receive God the Father supplies the word of God by hearing with faith. Yes, our faith.

Dear one, have you heard with faith ?
For this is what we have heard:

And he said to them, "Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you. -Mark 4:24

Take care then how you hear, for to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he thinks that he has will be taken away." -Luke 8:18

Dear one, have you paid attention what you hear by faith ? Have you taken care how you hear by faith ?

Dear one, when you have heard by faith, then God will supply and multiply the word of God for your sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness in Christ.

Then you be able to sow on the ground of hearts of those who heard and believe what Father and Christ have spoken, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, those who heard and believe will be delivered.

In this manner, you sow to the Spirit.

How do you sow to the Spirit?
We bear fruit of the Spirit for the edification of the body of Christ in love.
Ephesians 4:
15
but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ
16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according
to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the
edifying of itself in love.
Notice that James does not speak of seeds...
James 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Do we use our spirit?
The Holy Spirit uses our spirit, so yes.
1 Corinthians 2:
12
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God,
that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which
the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
This subject comes up in every apostolic letter.
How often do you read them?
They are like love letters kept in a shoe box.
