Hi,
I'm new to the faith. I recently read a couple of apologetics books and realized that there was far more to Christianity than the "fairy tale" that I used to think it was. If my Christian school had taught apologetics then I may have believed a long time ago! Anyway I found it impossible to argue with the facts laid out in these books which forced me to admit that a group of people I'd never been able to take seriously (Christians) actually knew something very big that I didn't! I was brought up non-religious and was never baptised. I don't have many Christian friends and my early experiences of being forced to go to church have strongly put me off the idea of attending actual services. However I now consider myself a Christian in that I believe Jesus died for my sins, I read the bible and I pray/ worship God regularly. I joined this forum as I'd like to explore my faith further and online groups are much less intimidating than in person ones! Can anyone relate?
