Hi Douggg,
I will just comment on the first point now. We need to establish that first.
Can you give scriptures for when you see the Day of the Lord beginning?
Marilyn.
The beginning of the Day of the Lord is in 1Thesslaonians5.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
The day of the Lord begins with destruction and wrath. Preceded by the world saying "peace and safety".
The rapture/resurrection is in verse 9-11 about avoiding, not appointed to, the wrath of that time, when the day of the Lord begins.
This is important to note because in his second letter to the Thessalonians, Paul has to reassure the Thessalonians, and distill rumors that the day of the Lord, the day of Christ, had not begun already. Here is the rapture/resurrection in these verses in 1Thessalonians5.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
So in Paul's second letter to the Thessalonians, to reassure the Thessalonians that they had not missed the rapture, and distill rumors that the day of the Lord started already, Paul has to expand on what must take place before the day of Lord, the day of Christ, begins.
We already have from 1Thessalonians5 - the world must be saying "Peace and Safety" - a false messianic age - before the Day of the Lord begins.
Adding to that information, two more factors Paul informs in 2Thessalonians2.
In 2Thessalonians2:3 - a falling away from believing Jesus is the messiah. To believe that the Antichrist is the messiah instead.
Then in 2Thessalonians2:4 - the transgression of desolation act by the Antichrist, revealing himself as the man of sin and not the messiah* after all.
*(the) messiah, (the) christ, in Jewish connotation, means the promised great King of Israel, descended from king David, to lead Israel and the world into the messianic era of peace and safety.

When the Antichrist goes into the temple, sits, claims to have achieved God-hood,
that triggers the beginning of the Day of the Lord.
God's wrath begins by having the revealed man of sin killed.
Later, after the person is brought back to life, becoming the beast, and the image made of him and placed on the temple mount, the abomination of desolation -
that triggers the Great Tribulation.
ToD - triggers the beginning of the Day of the Lord.
AoD - triggers the Great Tribulation.
The beginning of the Day of the Lord cannot be pinpointed on the timeline chart. We can deduce a general time, but not an exact day. It looks to be about 3 years thereabouts into the seven years, that the Antichrist will commit his audacious act of claiming to have achieved God-hood.
Differently, the beginning of the Great Tribulation will be 1335 days before Jesus returns. day 1185, 1335 days before Jesus returns.
