My honest response is: we're in the middle of a pandemic which has turned the entire world upside down. Never mind "about to happen," what is likely to be the biggest event of our lifetimes is happening, right now. And we will feel the consequences of it for years, and perhaps decades, to come, in the Church as much as in any other setting.

So my question might be, how has the pandemic spurred you to participation in God's mission on earth?

Hi, one senior pastor has been preaching in the last few years that Jesus Christ is coming back very soon.
With online services in some churches throughout the world, there maybe more miscommunication, and Christians feeling isolated and lacking in fellowship in this pandemic environment.
So let us pray for USA that she will not slide into more moral depravity.
God can raise up another Christian nation to be the spiritual leader of the world.

Let us be rest assured that God still has the victory and His power is much greater than the enemy.
Pray and stay alert.

I dont know what to make of John MacArthur sometimes but this was an incredible message. At least in regards to America, God has given America to its ways and is no longer protecting the country

John mcaurthur says there will be not animals in heaven. So for that reason. I’m out

This is not true. Of course there will be animals in heaven. In the beginning animals and people were more primitive and the animals were wild- but I believe as people and animals were able to bond with one another and develop a real loving connection that this changed. Jesus knows what our animals mean to us, and as a merciful God, that I would think will be one of the rewards awaiting you in heaven. Imagine, going to the mansion Christ prepared for you with your name on it and opening the door and all your furry babies came running to you! Why would God deprive us of this when we love some of those little guys more than we love some people?! I fully expect this to be the case because one of those babies of mine went to the vet with a routine ailment and we were shocked to have to make a decision then and there and we weren't ready to say goodbye. One of the hardest days of my life, going home in that car without him and going home to his toys and hairbrush with his hair in it and his empty bed. You'd have thought someone shot me I was crying so hard! Yes. We will see them againView attachment 301293

I am fortunate in some sense that much of the international correspondence to the US office of my denomination passes across my desk. So when my peers are getting down about the changes in our society, I am able to see a beacon of hope. The key is not to get mired in one's own squalor.
