So...about Biden's cancer cure...

I'm sure he's in his laboratory working on it as we speak. I think he would personally profit more from a cure for dementia but I suppose he is such a devout Catholic that he first looks to help his neighbor before being concerned about himself.

We got rid of the Trump tumor back in November but the cancer seems to have metastasized and spread across most of the GOP body politic.

I'm glad I voted against him and he was defeated. I'm honestly relieved we won't have to endure four more years of him. Frankly, 4 years of him has definitely cured me of being in lockstep with the GOP.

You make a good point about parents being weak and allowing their children to do ridiculously harmful things to themselves and society. Perhaps this explains why we have the Biden administration which is seemingly very opposed to personal responsibility even in adults, never mind in children? It could be that those same parents that were so weak in demanding personal responsibility saw someone of like mind in Biden and voted for him?

From my point of view parents that expect schools to make sure their child is properly nourished rather than themselves making sure of it are hardly likely to be high in the personal responsibility department themselves. Expecting irresponsible people to teach personal responsibility is not a realistic expectation.

My post was not aimed at Michele Obama if that is what you perceived but at the poster that did not care if children went home hungry from school because they could not find food at school that was in the least bit appetizing to them. Most likely they dislike the "healthy food" more because it is poorly prepared than because they are rebellious swine who have been spoiled rotten. But the latter could be the case or a combination of both.

If you pump kids full of sugar and artificial flavourings from a young age, then healthy food is going to be a hard sell no matter who is cooking it. It takes a dedicated campaign to wean them off the trash, and that requires commitment from everyone involved. Instead the right used it as a cheap hit job on the Obamas and their kids are the ones who end up paying for that.

Like my momma said, "you don't have to like it, you just have to eat it." Hunger is a powerful motivator.

Why then would you trust in a false promise of Biden but not a false promise of Trump?
I was kidding. I dont put much stock in this kind of bluster by anyone. Problem with Trump was he was all bluster. ("Youre going to get sick of winning", etc.)

Well...he was winning a lot until covid. I honestly think that is the only reason biden is president now. So would you vote for Trump if he promised to cure cancer regardless if he actually delivered?

I thought my previous "no" covered this. But here's another just in case: no.

Perhaps Trump woulda got re-elected. Maybe thats the silver lining of the pandemic: once Trump got on the back-foot, his behavior revealed his character in a truly unmistakable way via all the election lying, his attempts to dismantle our democratic institutions, etc.

Is there is there anything Trump or Biden could have said or done to change your vote?

Of course. I can imagine all kinds of things that would make Trump preferable to Biden. But thats the power of imagination for you.

The noise from what? Windmills. SO yes, he said that windmills caused cancer.
He said, "They say, 'the noise (from windmills) causes cancer' but you tell me that one." So no, he did not claim windmills causes cancer. Rather, he said others are making that claim and he asked if that was true. Any suggestion otherwise is making a dishonest conclusion.
