2. Blacks and non whites can never commit hate crimes or be racist.

I saw a thread in this section 15 pages long, where not a single person managed to define what CRT was.

Gross overreaction.

It only takes 2 sentences to explain.

There's a lady in my church who is visibly racist against blacks. She is not white. She claims to be born again.

Is she just a misguided individual? Or is she consumed by hate? I would say both. However, racism is not always a visible thing. Someone can think intensely racists all day long and never show how they feel. It's called pretending so you don't get caught out, and people do it all the time: if they're not racist then they are a thief, or a paedo. Or maybe it's something completely innocent, like they are trying to hide a disability.

Racism is not a one size fits all thing, but it is prejudice and hate, pure and simple. I really don't see the grand debate. No matter what our cultural heritage, we as Christians should ALL be against racism, no matter who it is directed against. Just like we should be against any other kind of injustice.

It's disgusting.

By the way, lots of people have complained about the lady at church, but our Pastor is still very hesitant to deal with her. I don't know how to feel about that.

There is simplification, then there is over-simplification and that can too readily spill over into deception and delusion.

One more thing. This is theory …which has less validity to it than the theory of evolution (which is a lie).

Theory is nothing more than conjecture which is an assumption…and assumption is the acceptance of something with out proof.

But there is some validity to it, and it lies within the promoters.

So I am starting my own acronym ………….RRT reflective race theory.

Which simply means…Those who are calling it out are the ones who are guilty of it.

Oops ….That’s more than two lines.

Critical race theory is an academic movement of civil-rights scholars and activists in the United States who seek to critically examine the law as it intersects with issues of race and to challenge mainstream liberal approaches to racial justice. Wikipedia

Anything other than this definition, including post #1, is propaganda.

When you watch FOX or OANN or Newsmax this is your view of the world. The system is set up to favor us White folks. Don't like that version of the world? Tough. You've never had to deal with being Black in America. I lived in a rather wealthy White suburb for a time. And my drive to work took me down a road that was well-traveled. I noticed as I drove this road day after day that the cops had a habit of pulling people over. But... if you were White you were pulled over by ONE car. If you were Black you pulled over by two or three cars. It was as if the cops were suspicious of the Black folks. That was confirmed when I was running a comedy show a few years later. We would get comedians from all over the area. Sure enough, one night a guy was late for the show. He had been pulled over in that suburb. Wasn't speeding. Was just driving while Black. He eventually added it to his act. Because it happened all the time. They just wanted to know why he was there.

You want to believe that racism isn't real. Maybe because you don't use the "N-word." Can a Black family move to any home they want in any place they want and be sure of the reception they'll receive? The answer is no. They can't. A Black man is far more likely to be followed around by security in a store. And that perception spills over into hiring. They see a name like John Smith on a resume or Tonysha Jones. What's the perception?

So we don't teach our kids about how this country has treated Native Americans. Or African Americans. We don't teach them about slavery. What it really was. What happened in Tulsa. Or Selma. Or any of a hundred other examples of racist atrocities. You were taught that George Washington had wooden teeth. George Washington had dentures made from the teeth of slaves. Can there a more clear example of whitewashing than that? If you think this makes you look bad, imagine how opposing teaching the truth makes you look.

If we don't teach them about how the country was created to favor White people over Black people how can they know not to be like that in the future?

How can you know that a post like this is wrong?

What is this critical race idea, it is going to be a money maker for someone. It more than likely a book or an organization that you will give your money to.
Open your ears man and open your heart. For pity's sake.

I can go better than that:

Here’s how not to be a racist….

I’ve no idea what kind of person who would object to learning that.

You know that gravity is a theory right? Do you think that is a lie too?

By the way, a scientific theory is not just a conjecture.
A scientific theory is an explanation of an aspect of the natural world and universe that can be repeatedly tested and verified in accordance with the scientific method, using accepted protocols of observation, measurement, and evaluation of results. Where possible, theories are tested under controlled conditions in an experiment.[1][2] In circumstances not amenable to experimental testing, theories are evaluated through principles of abductive reasoning. Established scientific theories have withstood rigorous scrutiny and embody scientific knowledge.[3]

Actually gravity is both, theory and law....
But both of your statements could be open to a wide range of discussion....however, I do not want to derail the intent of the OP ....so I will refrain.

I'll leave you with this..
In general, a scientific law is the description of an observed phenomenon. It doesn't explain why the phenomenon exists or what causes it. The explanation of a phenomenon is called a scientific theory. It is a misconception that theories turn into laws with enough research.

You said that we should all be against racism, but then your post is about the contents of people’s inner thoughts that aren’t revealed by actions. So are you suggesting that we guess what people are thinking, and then we take action against what we think these people are thinking?

Not at all. We all know that people pretend. We have pretended once or twice in our lives. Unless you are perfect. I know I am not.

Does that mean we should act like something doesn't exist because people like to pretend it doesn't?
