If you know they are married and they go for a hug? I personally feel that I am uncomfortable hugging them in any situation. I try to not have personal contact at all with them but that is just me.

It depends. If someone is really in need of a hug then maybe.

Why not guys? She is married to someone and she goes to hug you. Wouldn't that make you think twice? It may not be a safe thing every time. If it were your wife, would that be fine all the time she goes to hug another male?

It depends on the person and the nature of our connection. I’m physically demonstrative to loved ones but rarely hug men otherwise. I’ll shake or squeeze their hand instead.

No. It's only strange if you're not used to it. In all my years of social dancing, I must have hugged hundreds of people of the opposite gender. That's totally normal and not at all strange for me.
