It says "Kept",, this equates to the confinement of Jesus.

No it doesn't...nowhere in Judaism is that even implied! Stop making things up...it means to select a lamb, inspect for flaws and care for it for 4 days then sacrifice it...

Nah, it's orthodox craziness, a clearly desired obstruction of Christ's Truth about the events of His death and resurrection. The below event is what Lord Jesus used as a reference for His death and resurrection...

Jonah 1:17
17 Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

This was blatant. It does not say that nor does it imply that, it says "the passover"
Josephus says this sin offering was added as a feast for the priest. Paul tells us to keep the feast. The feast is the 15th. Our passover has already been sacrificed so let us keep the feast. The Apostles were priests/kings a royal priesthood. AGAIN...The feast is the 15th

Pesakh is on the 14th, when the lambs were killed. The 15th is the 1st of unleavened. The Pesakh lamb bones could not be broken while the korbanot hagigot bones could be. Mishnah Chagigah

Yes the feast is the 15th at night they ate it. But the sin offering for atonement is for a feast for the priests on the fifteenth.
Josephus, a Pharisee, and having priestly lineage,
ant. 3.10.5
"The feast of unleavened bread succeeds that of the Passover, and falls on the fifteenth day of the month, and continues seven days, wherein they feed on unleavened bread; on every one of which days 2 bulls are killed, and one ram, and seven lambs. Now these lambs are entirely burnt, beside the kid of the goats which is added to all the rest, for sins; for it is intended as a feast for the priest on everyone of those days"
Throughout unleavened bread, the priest ate (feasted) on the goat of the sin offering. The feast of unleavened bread was also commonly called passover. It is not strange that the high priest would not want to defile himself to eat this festal sin offering during the entire feast of passover/unleavened bread.

Uh huh....So the night is the fourteenth or the 15th?

Ex 12:8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

You see the lamb had to be TAKEN and GUARDED. Not just inspected. To only "inspect" the lamb was to be in disobedience to the instructions given by Moses.

Yes Korban Hagigot...every day...however, only the Korban Pesakh can not have its bones broken. Yeshua died at a certain time when only the Pesakh lambs were sacrificed...and His bones were not broken.

You are grasping at straws. I do not need Strongs. You need to understand the context in Hebrew. They were to take a lamb, watch over and care for it for 4 days inspecting it for defects and then sacrifice it. The Priests would inspect it to make sure it was free of defects and appropriate for sacrifice. This is all well known. You are just making things up...

I didn't post Strong's. The Definition was from Brown-Driver-Briggs

I gave it to you in its context. It is interpreted exactly at should be. Again, the Lamb is to be TAKEN and GUARDED/CONFINED.

שׂהH7716 תמיםH8549 זכרH2145 בןH1121 שׁנהH8141 יהיהH1961 לכם מןH4480 הכבשׂיםH3532 ומןH4480 העזיםH5795 תקחו׃H3947

Exo 12:5 a lamb, a perfect one, a male, a son of a year, let be to you; from the sheep or from the goats ye do take it .

Here it is from the LXX:

Exo 12:5 [6sheepG4263 3a perfectG5046 4maleG730 5unblemishedG299 7of a year old G1762.1 1It shall beG1510.8.3 2to you];G1473 fromG575 theG3588 lambsG704 andG2532 fromG575 theG3588 kidsG2056 you shall take.G2983

From Adam Clarke's commentary:

Ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day - The lamb or kid was to be taken from the flock on the tenth day, and kept up and fed by itself till the fourteenth day, when it was to be sacrificed. This was never commanded nor practiced afterwards.

Jesus had to be taken from His flock and separated from them on the 10th of the Month.

From Jamieson Fausset Brown commentary:

keep it up until the fourteenth day, etc. — Being selected from the rest of the flock, it was to be separated four days before sacrifice

Strongs, Browns, same difference IMO. Again, no implication of "imprisonment". By definition it would be separated from the flock, each family would choose a lamb and care for it for 4 days. Yeshua was accepted when He rode into Jerusalem. He was inspected, questioned by the Rabbis/Pharisees for 4 days and then crucified.

We will have to agree to disagree.
